Transit Systems managed the transport of fragile antiques and other expensive breakables with simplified and cost-effective methods. The shipment was picked up on time and observed to be handled carefully while arriving on the early side of the stated time frame damage-free and carefully placed into its new home. Everyone involved with the process was professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. It should be noted that I spent the time to communicate my needs and describe the pieces to be transported to Transit Systems so they knew what we were trying to accomplish. I carefully packaged the items but only as one would as if one was hand-carrying each box. My experience was exactly as Transit Systems described it would be for the "White Glove" treatment. UPS/ Fed Ex does not compare.

I shipped antique furniture from Boston to Chicago. TSI was professional, affordable and delivered ahead of their promised delivery time frames. I used the white glove service and the movers picked up everything from my 65+ year old parents' house making it super easy for them. They then delivered and assembled the furniture in our house in Chicago. Everyone was very friendly throughout the scheduling and delivery process. Additionally, this great service was also the most affordable and straight-forward that I found. Other services were pricier and they also could not offer precise windows for pickup and delivery like TSI could. Bottom line, I would use them again for long distance shipping--even with items of great sentimental value like the antique furniture they delivered to me already.

5 Stars!! We recently shipped several boxes and some furniture to our daughter in another state. It could not have been smoother. The movers were efficient and carefully wrapped furniture, along with boxes of dishes and kitchen items. The delivery was on time and equally smooth. From beginning to end, my experience with TSI was terrific. After receiving an online quote, I called to clarify the details. My account rep, Carol, was very helpful explaining how the entire process worked how the quote was derived. With this information I was able to adjust my inventory to fit my budget. She explained that I would be given a 5-day window for pick-up and a 10 to 15 day delivery window. When I explained that there would be specific dates I would not be able to accept delivery, she assured me they would try to accommodate my schedule. The dispatcher called me twice to discuss and confirm the dates. As it turned out, the dispatcher was able to arrange my move over a total of just 4 days – pickup on Sunday and delivery on Thursday. The mover kept in phone contact as promised and arrived at the appointed time. He assured me that my items would remain in place on his truck and he would be delivering them as well. The mover and his assistant were courteous and efficient, and all of my belongings arrived in perfect condition. I was fortunate to find a moving company that could accommodate my needs at an affordable price. Excellent communication and customer service.

I recently had to ship a heavy memory foam mattress from NM to California. I was lucky enough to come upon TSI's website. It was easy to get a cost estimate from Kathy, one of their helpful employees. I chose the white glove service and was not disappointed. I was pleased to have the mattress pickup and delivered much sooner than expected, my daughter was thankful to stop using an airmatress too. I really want to thank the foolks at TSI for making this an easy experience.

Our item took 52 transit days and was damaged. DON’T DO IT! Our item, a solid maple table with the legs detached for transport, was picked up on November 30th and did not deliver until February 14th. They charge you the entire transport fee upfront so it seems they have your money and therefore no incentive for them to follow through on anything. Contacting the company is pointless as they do not respond. We were left a message on January 10th informing us that damage had occurred and to contact “Annette” to discuss the issue. We called repeatedly and always got voicemail. We left a message for her on January 11th, she did not call back. We left another message on January 15th, no response. We called again on January 16th and the automated system said we could not leave a message because the voicemail box was full. We got ahold of the “local” dispatcher for the item (not really local at 170 miles away) to discuss and they said “you have to talk to Annette”. I left yet another message for Annette on February 9th. I’m still waiting for a response to any of the calls. Table finally arrived on February 14th, three of the four corners have either rub marks or are flat out chipped off. Given the damage and that it took 52 days (so much for 20 days) to get here, I feel we should get a partial refund as we certainly did not get the service we paid for. I’ll just hold my breath and wait for Annette to call, I’m sure it will be any day now, if the table took 52 days, maybe the phone call does as well?

TSI picked up the furniture items within the window of time I suggested, called a day ahead of time to be sure someone would be there, showed up on time, wrapped the pieces securely and emailed me that they were in transit. I received a call on a Thursday for Friday delivery and was given a 3 hour window. On Friday, i was called when the truck was half an hour away and it showed up right on time. Movers were courteous, took pieces around our house into the basement, unwrapped them and placed them where I wanted --all within 30 minutes. Furniture was well wrapped and not damaged. I was pleased with the move and appreciated being able to talk with a person to arrange pick up and delivery. Thank you.

“Our moving process with TSI went very smoothly. We moved just boxes this time from NC to CA. The customer service I received from Kathy Temple was very professional. She was courteous and answered all of my questions thoroughly in multiple phone calls and emails. She provided documents and explanations in a timely manner and made the process less stressful for us. The pick up agents did not call or come for our items during the arranged window but were two hours late. But the delivery company called the day before delivery and showed up just as scheduled. Do I really have to give them one star? I wouldn't hire them to deliver a toothbrush accross the street again. One item was damaged the other I actually had to call them to remind them that they hadnt even picked up my item from a government facility after a month. Very very poor communication on both items. I have put in at least 30 phone calls and 15 emails to several people there with no help whasoever. I have called the rep that was in charge of my item ( jessica *****)and she gives me the ignore button every time. I leave messages, calls and email (all patient and nice) with no responses.

Wonderful company, great shipping experience. Booked with this company to ship a mattress from North Carolina to Long Island, NY. They were great to deal with. Everything went exactly as they said. The day after booking the boxes, plastic bags, tape, everything needed to package the shipment was sent, arriving the next day. Then when it was ready, just called to schedule a pickup date. It was picked up on that date. Was told once shipped, it would arrive to its destination in three to four days. Right on. It was picked up on a Thursday night, arriving at its destination the next Tuesday afternoon in perfect condition. Will definitely use this company for any future shipping needs, and have already passed on the company's contact info to other people I know in need of shipping.

They do not deliver on what they guarantee. We shipped our mattress and box from Charlotte to Seattle with 20 days delivery date from the day of pick up. 40 days later still no mattress. We had to call them to find out what the status was with our stuff. They didn't even bother to inform us on the delay. High prices paid, lots of wasted time and waiting around for us. Such a poor business approach.

I booked a pickup for a family treasure to be shipped from Calf to Oklahoma. I was told if I booked immediately that getting it before Christmas would not be a problem . The order was placed on Nov 22nd and picked up on Nov 27 from calf. I was just informed today it will be delivered in Oklahoma on the 27th - 29th of December, Unfortunately no one will be there as we leave the 26th. Now it has to be shipped to Texas and I have to move it to Oklahoma! Great job! Even after 4-5 calls asking why this item sat for 20 days in their possession they couldn’t deliver this item in a timely fashion. Find a shipper that has better service would be my recommendation, and now I have no faith that this item will be damaged free.

A horrible company that will pack items and then deliver them damaged and not take responsibility. Customer service is lazy, sloppy, and non responsive. They ate efficient in securing their payment and then providing horrific service.

TSI shipping provided some of the worst quality service I have ever come across. The company advertises a cheap flat rate for shipping mattresses across the USA for $475. The company provides a limited liability of $.10 per lb with this service ( this won’t even cover the price of mattress box). They offered a higher coverage plan that would have costed me roughly $1200 for my move that would have only provided $.60 per lb in liability ( The average memory foam mattress weighs about 200 lb for a king size, so you are capable of only getting a maximum $120 back if you encounter damages). If your item is worth more than the minimal liability, which everything is pretty much, it is suggested to find additional coverage through homeowners insurance. What they don’t tell you is that homeowners insurance does not provide coverage against negligence or mishandling of personal property through transportation. My situation was/is as follows: I purchased the $475 transportation from TSI shipping and encountered severe damage to my new king sized tempur pedic memory foam mattress in the value of $3000. They only provided a $21 check for damages. The images given to them show the condition prior to pickup: Item was in a perfectly wrapped plastic mattress bag and inside of mattress box. I also provided images showing the damage that was captured upon delivery: The mattress box was torn open so badly that it even ripped away the plastic cover and the actual cover on the mattress itself. It also appears that the item was either ran over or sat underneath a heavy object for an extended period of time illustrated by the large indentation still imprinted on the mattress (no mattress looks like this). The company’s quality assurance dept had only the following for comment: “When shipping in a freight environment specifically, although it is rare, damages can occur. We ship mattresses every day and have a below-average damage rate compared to most. I have viewed the photos you sent over but from what I can see, it does not look like there is significant damage- I see that the outer box is torn open and some of the plastic covering is not secure (I think there may be a seam opened but it is hard to tell) but the mattress itself does not appear to be ruined.” I am not sure what customer would not describe this situation as severe damage to personal property. Fellow customers BEWARE of this company. They will not accept responsibility for their actions. Your homeowners insurance will not cover any mistakes like this…

not sure how to respond to their coment. but this seriously the worst company in the world!!!! first of all they did not offer insurance, and why would they give our mattress to a F+ RATED company they dont care about your stuff, and from all the complaints im readng this is what they are know from, you hire them since they are A+ rated you THINK you can trust them, than they hire a stupid company to ruin your stuff and than they stay well it not our fault, LETS SEE WHAT THE JUDGE HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS!

I hate writing such a low review because I do believe Carol (sales agent) and John ( transit dispatcher ) are trying to help but unfortunately its not enough. My experience with TSI has been completely, completely horrible! TSI picked up a small shipment of 13 boxes and my bicycle from San Francisco to New York My shipment was picked up on January 31, 2020. The estimated 'pick up' time window was 11am to 2pm. The movers showed up at 3:50pm, almost two hours after the window they had told me. I told Carol I needed my shipment delivered by February 19 or 20, 2020. She assured me that my shipment would take about 3 weeks and would be arriving that week. I needed my shipment that week because had a shows on weekends and I shipped my instrument for safer keeping. On Feb 17, 20, I called John to schedule my delivery. I was told it would be delivered within 20 business days of pick up - which had never been disclosed before. At that point I needed my shipment or a way to get my instrument and some important documents. Otherwise I'd have to pay to rent an instrument, which inevitably ended up happening. Carol and John told me they would call around to see if my shipment was close by then call me back with updated information. I never got a call back from either of them. I received an email from Carol stating my shipment would be arriving early the week of Feb 24th. I waited until for them to schedule my delivery but yet again no one called. I called John on Wednesday Feb 26th asking him about my shipment and the delivery date Carol had quoted me. I communicated the urgency of needed my belongings. John said he would check to see where my shipment was at and would call back. Big Shocker, guess who never called back.. I waited until 4pm to call him back when he told me he "thinks" delivery will arrive next week. Feb 28 will be 20 business days and I still do not have my shipment. At this point, I have no faith in this company and I'm very concerned with the potential condition of my belonging. These people have no answers or clue where my shipment is or when it will be arriving. I need my instrument, documents and clothes. It is winter season in NYC, I've been rotating the same 3 outfits for one month now. I have to pay to rent an instrument for the second time this week. I had high hopes that this would be easy but TSI has proven to be very disappointing and an untrustworthy company.

TSI recently did a cross country move for me, and I was very happy with the service. They were prompt and courteous. Everything was moved without a scratch. They unloaded the truck efficiently, even on my difficult street with a steep hill and placed all furniture as requested. I would highly recommend them.
