    My Co-worker had used them a few weeks ago and said that she did was stand back and watched these very nice men do their job and load her things into the truck.  Her husband had to work and was not their the whole timw so she was relieved when the guys knew what had to be done and wrapped her furniture carefully and loaded the truck like a tetris puzzle.I was late calling due to work and my move date came faster then i thought The gal who answered the phone was very sweet and answered all my questions. It was a great price also 2 men and truck for $330. The cheapest rate I had gotten from other movers. Also I was impressed the had all come in a uniform, like a polo shirt with their name on it and hat.  I got the same service as my friend at work and I would use them again, I have already told my Mother In Law who lives in Nor_Cal, I guess they have crews up their as well. It sucks to move and I am glad I took my friends advise. Oh forgot to mention we also got a discount cause we angies list and yelp. I think it is one or the other but I know we both got one.

During a stressful time like moving, it really helps a lot to have smart people to help. Student Movers was amazing - two not-giant guys who easily carried large boxes and furniture up two flights of stairs with no complaints. Don’t let their size fool you - these guys are STRONG!I’ve had some rotten experiences moving, with stuff being broken or "disappeared" but this was a very smooth move with zero damages or losses and I plan to use this company every time I move from now on.We really appreciate the efforts Student Movers took to keep our stuff intact and our new home undamaged.They were also very easy to talk to and eager to help, making the move even easier.I will definitely recommend to all my friends.

We were so happy with our move with Student Movers. Being in the service we move all the time. It was nice to have people moving us that were professional and clean. From the moment they arrived they got down to business or should I say moving. They were polite and friendly. We moved from a large 5 bedroom house that and had lots of garage tools, and equipment. It was nice to know we were in good hands. The movers packed the truck and we arrived at our new home. They helped set up furniture and always had a smile on their face even on the hot day that we moved. My family and I were so pleased with this moving company that we have referred them to all our friends and realtor. Great job, keep up the good work.

So everyone hates moving. It sucks so I hired Student Movers to help me move from Newport Beach to Huntington Beach, California. This was by far the best and easiest move I’ve ever had. Crew was professional local moving guys that went above and beyond to move whatever I needed. Price was fair and was all inclusive. Everyone else I called didn’t answer their phones or when they did they were trying to talk to me on someone else’s move...not cool. Student Movers customer service answered the phone, helped me book my move on their awesome moving website 24/7 was able to book when I was ready to book my appointment. Student Movers even helped pack up all my kitchen items with packing paper and boxes(was extra for packing supplies) but was easy as can be. I loved the conveince of Student Movers, I was treated like a king. Hassle free move that I would’ve paid triple to have done what they did and saved me time and money.

I called Student Movers on super short notice and they were able to get a team of guys to my place in less than 24 hours. Matt and Austin showed up early and did a great job. I did not want to carry those things upstairs, but they took care of everything and then asked what else they could do to help. They assembled some furniture for me and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Will definitely call them next time I need moving help.

I called two days prior to moving day and they were able to squeeze me in. The local movers were already assigned to jobs in Orange County, so the company was able to pull some gentleman from the Temecula/Murrieta area to make it happen. Isaiah and John were awesome. They were quick, efficient, and had great attitudes. I had a few items like glass table tops that I didn’t have anything to wrap the pieces in ahead of time, and the guys offered a few solutions on how to get those more fragile pieces to the new spot. Everything was transported safely with nothing broken, and when we arrived at my new location, they even helped my roommate move a few of her bigger items, which was super helpful! Highly recommend, great team!

The absolute WORST moving company ever. Damaged every piece of furniture, didn’t secure items in the truck. Sent three guys that were worthless. Watched one guy push our bedding side rail with his foot from the back of the truck to the lift gate. Damaged new mattress that I covered with a plastic moving mattress cover by dragging it instead of picking it up. They damaged walls and wainscoting and I was told go by dap for $2.00 to fix it from their manager. Ruined staircase banister. DO NOT use this company. On top of it all Michelle has the worst customer service when I reached out to her to try to resolve. In addition once they read this review they sent a threatening email for me to remove this review. Stating that this was bullying and slander. Which with the proof of damages is neither.

VERBALLY ABUSIVE OWNER, SEE HIS OTHER REPLIES TO ONE STAR REVIEWS. Beware!!! Worst move EVER. I had to hire another moving company to finish the job. I called Student Movers to discuss the lack of progress during the move. First, the phone lady told me I was lying, and produced hours old video feed of my house. She even said, ‘bet you didn’t know we were videotaping you.’ I didn’t know. Is this even legal? Then the owner of the company called and yelled at me, literally yelled, to tell me how hard his guys were working. He would not let me talk, so I hung up. The moving guys just left my new house. About 75% of my things made it here. And they are all in my garage. Nothing inside the house. 4 hours to move a 1,000 sq ft house, all non-furniture items completely boxed up and ready to go. And somehow it didn’t get even close to finished. I tipped the guys not because they did well, but because I feel bad that they are working for this company, it is clear that they are instructed to take their time. Hired another moving company for 4 hours to finish the job tomorrow. Unbelievable. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Yes, I smoked weed in my own house!!! You do know it’s legal in California? Such judgement! Reefer madness. I’m not going to dignify the other comments, nor will I throw your hourly workers under the bus like you just did. I had to CANCEL my credit card after 4 fraud notices from the bank- you attempted to charge my credit card $1,250 after I ALREADY paid cash for the full amount of the move. Declined and denied are not the same thing, the bank has your company name on record and was not surprised with your attempt to charge me without authorization as it has happened before to their customers. While your personal attacks are amusing, I am not the one being reviewed, YOU ARE. Way to dig your own grave! My income level is none of your business, and your jealousy is quite apparent. You’re in the service industry, you get paid by people like me. How about trying to find your own success? You are so professional, I’m sure people are just dying to work with you. So much so that you’re spending all your time making derogatory comments to a dissatisfied customer. Hey, guess what I’m doing right now? In front of the other moving company guys, the horror! Puff puff give. Light up baby!!! You should look into the benefits, you seem like you’d be a prime candidate. Or would you rather keep drinking alone? Btw, new movers are awesome!!! This company moved us 2 years ago. Its taken me this long to recover from being so pissed off. Everything started off great when you are reserving the truck and help. After that, its all downhill. I ordered 3 guys to help move our 3 bdrm 1200 sq ft condo, plus a 10x 13 storage unit (that wasn’t very full). They were late and showed up with 4 guys. I figured the 6 hrs that I asked for would cover just putting all of the furniture and storage unit ( which was approximately 5 miles away) and then transporting everything approximately 15 miles away. All the furniture was ready to be moved. Beds broken down, loose furniture wrapped, etc. My husband was at the condo and I was making trips to the newly built home we purchased, with our boxes and food. While at the new home, I decided to call the Customer service department to address the amount of guys I had requested and the fact that they were late arriving. Thats when the fun started. Mommy answered the phone and immediately starting yelling at me. Telling me that they have my stuff in the truck and they can hold it until we pay. She was going to call the cops and threatening me. Mommy didn’t know that we are in law enforcement, but these fools had our address. I felt like they would retaliate if I went further with the conversation. After I got off the phone, I called my husband and was telling him what happened. As we were speaking a fist fight broke out between 2 of the movers. It was a complete SHIT SHOW. When I got back to the condo, all 4 guys were standing around complaining. 1 of the guys had taken a seat in my patio chair smoking a cigarette and talking on the phone yelling "I don’t fucking care about these peoples shit, I will throw it around if I fucking feel like it". Did I mention that not one of these guys looked like students? I would say they had just got out of jail a few days prior to getting the moving job. The guys didn’t know that I was the other half and I introduced myself when they saw me in the condo. I witnessed them disrespecting me in front of my son and husband. I was instructing the movers to take the heavy stuff first. Thats when I was labeled "the mouth". I left shortly after to take another load to the new house. 9 hours later, they arrived at our new home. By this time it was 8 pm and they told us they were tired. I had 2 friends come over to help us unload the 26 ft truck. They managed to scratch up our new washer/ dryer, break the legs off a buffet table, broke antique dishes, and other glass pieces. They scraped up our new walls, and basically lived up to their appearance and behavior. All of those positive reviews you see have to be paid by them. You can go to any county courthouse and look up all of the small claims law suits against them. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews. Shawn should fire his mommy and start hiring people that are professional and won’t run his business into the ground.

I wouldn’t even give these guys one star if I could. They are a rip-off. I had to move 8 miles away and they had had the balls to charge me a $350 fuel surcharge and said that it was because of "California Law" and there was nothing they could do about it. However, when I received the quote, they never mentioned anything about it. Also, even though they wrapped my furniture, almost all of it has gashes and deep scratches in them, basically ruined them. Absolutely awful experience, $2000 down the drain. I had better experience when I used to hire guys from Home Depot.

NO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Here is the email I sent both Michelle and Shawn - emails both bounced. That’ll give you an idea of who you’re dealing with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Hi There, Thank you for your call today. Per our discussion, you mentioned twice that the fee was $215.00 per hour, for 12 hours. Cost for gas was 20%. Processing fee 3%. In between your blatant disrespectful comments, abrasive approach and trying to then sweet talk me, I now realize your character. Ryan is not a bully, but was told other than what is now being said, and based on my observation, as an outsider looking in on a situation that I wasn’t involved in one bit until today, I’ve assessed it all from a non-biased vantage point, and have this to say: Given my experience with you over a 30 minute phone conversation, with you giving me conflicting information even over the short time (I was taking notes as you were talking, then you changed your amount, then you snapped at me, saying I was putting words into your mouth, when you actually stated the amount - not once, but twice, and I wrote it down, only to have you change the amount to be a higher cost), I realize that the miscommunications were probably also noted on Ryan’s part. I went into that conversation completely unbiased and let you speak your mind without saying a word. When it came time for me to explain, not only did you not allow me to talk, by talking over me, but you then insulted me directly as well. Then, the amounts you gave didn’t add up to the original amount you quoted, even after you broke it down for me (again, I took notes as you spoke and wrote down the exact numbers you said), and when I asked for another breakdown, you deflected my question and went off on another tangent. No material charges were ever mentioned, nor did the boys use any materials aside from one box to cover a TV, and the wrapping plastic to keep the washer/dryer and one refrigerator closed. $475.00 is 100% unacceptable and was never disclosed as a cost/charge at any point, until after our conversation ended and you sent an invoice for the first time. Also, you threw out many things about looking us up, looking into Ryan and I, and mentioned our reputation in our business. Our reputation, us as people, regardless of what you’ve heard is neither here nor there - whether it be the absolute worst feedback, or flawless, positive feedback. It does not matter one way or another, even though your info was also conflicting in regards to this as well. All this comes down to is the level of work that was provided, the items that were damaged, and the cost that was told over the phone originally. May I suggest that in the future, you give a solid estimate for work BEFORE the job is done, so that everyone might be on the same page? I don’t think any of us have time to go back and forth on any of this. I know you suggested the repair for the chaise lounge and although that won’t return it back to original condition, it is what we will have to settle with, based on our conversation. I won’t even mention the cost of the set of sconces and candle holder that were broken. Like I mentioned in our conversation, the boys were all kind. No doubt. However, the amount of time it took, with 4 guys was not necessarily reasonable. When we moved even more from our previous home, it only took a total of 8 hours with 4 adult movers, and also, 2 trucks. Things were just stacked in differently, creating more space for the remaining items that we packed and loaded ourselves in 4 cars, with 3 additional trips. Also, my mentioning the problem solving and expertise of experienced movers ensuring that things weren’t broken or damaged, was meant to reiterate that certain criteria should always be considered when moving just to make sure these things don’t happen. I do feel that there was negligence in the chaise lounge, but the sconces and candle holder were absolutely mistakes that do happen in moving a 5 bedroom home and can be forgiven, without request to reimburse. Also, your comment that we had equivalent of a 10 bedroom home was completely out of line and quite exaggerated. We had two dining tables, one couch, one loveseat, 3 barstools and 1 large chaise lounge, 2 small ones in 2 living areas and a kitchen area. That is absolutely typical of a normal 5 bedroom household. With the amount of stuff that we moved ourselves - we had zero boxes for the movers to move - all small items in all cabinets in the kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas, all clothes, shoes, and etc., in closets we have moved ourselves, linens, misc., items, so in all actuality, we had much less than the typical 5 bedroom move - just to discuss your comment on a 10 bedroom home move. Also, I don’t think that it was very kind of you to single out your employee by throwing out that he has Autism. He is a normal boy, just as any other normal boy would be, and I think that if his parents knew that you were using that to gain

I called Student Movers as a last resort after I had been ditched by my moving company that was arranged by U-Haul. It was already late on Saturday afternoon and after waiting all day for my U-Haul movers that did not show up I was in a serious bind. The team at Student Movers sprang into action and found me a new crew to help me move within an hour! I am eternally grateful for the professional customer service and going above and beyond to help a customer in need. They will certainly be my first choice next time.

A few days ago we had to move my grandmother in a hurry! We called up Student movers to see if they had a time slot available in the same week and they did! They sent us the most dedicated and experienced team. They were very organized, and the team worked well together making sure the move was progressing quickly! This time during COVID. The whole process was totally professional and excellent. From the initial call to the pickup of the furniture, this team has been on point. The packing staffs were good and professional in packing household goods. They cover everything up front and don’t nickel and dime you. They asked questions to ensure that everything was taken care and made sure all my belongings were packed properly for move. They make your moving an amazing experience as the team is very funny, friendly, and hard working. The move was a breeze my belongings were safe and my pocket was happy with the price that they charged couldn’t ask for anything else! The guys were so nice, ahead of schedule and we done with the entire move in under two hours. So smooth!
