Super Movers Reviews

★★★★★
These guys are fantastic movers. I'm always kind of nervous picking a moving company because it's hard to tell what you're getting and I've had bad experiences in the past. We hired this crew to load using their truck, move about 2 miles and unload. We did two trips. Our crew was Eli, Gerald, Mike, and Mark; I think I have all the names right. They were happy, optimistic, upbeat, careful, detail oriented and did a great job at a fair price. Hopefully we won't be moving again but if so I would definitely use this company. I actually commented during this move that there was way too much laughter for moving day but they were having fun and getting things done at the same time

Super friendly and super awesome to work with! The guys who moved me in were not that big, which had me worried since my furniture is so large and heavy. But they got the job done.

Wonderful movers, respectful of all things and worth every penny!!! Just great people to deal with overall, friendly kind and funny They were easy to communicate with schedule and we're prompt and quick working even with delicate and heavy items.

★★★★★
Prompt, efficient, quick and on budget. Super Movers really went above and beyond moving my daughter locally to a 3 story walk up on a 90 degree day. They packed carefully and really hustled. I would definitely recommend.

I really appreciate all the help from super movers. Though they were late by an hour, Josh made it up by sending a extra hand. They were quick, efficient and careful all the way. Would definitely use them the next time.

This is my 2nd time using them and I won't use or recommend them anymore. The actual movers themselves are nice people however the 3rd mover was too busy trying to move fast and show off on what he could carry solo which resulted in tons of damage to our wood furniture. The best part is they don't even admit they did damage. The owner doesn't supply them with tools so the disassemble/assemble option you are quoted is a lie. The owner was also supposed to supply us with a vendor to repair our damaged wood furniture but radio silent when I advised what days we were available. This wasn't a cheap quote and I wish we had used another company.

The guys were pretty rough on our stuff. Broke more than a few things. The problem was we didn't unpack everything right away, so we didn't find it broken until weeks later. Lots of Christmas stuff. After reaching out to get reimbursed for the damages, we were told the company had been sold and I would need to contact the previous owner about the damages. Extremely disappointed.

I recently used Super Movers for a '16 foot truck unload at an apartment complex after finding them on Yelp. Somewhere around paying all the neighborhood teenagers I could scrounge together to load up my moving truck, I realized I most likely had vastly underestimated my ability to unload a moving truck (even with my reluctant cousin and unload quarterback's assistance). William responded quickly to my request a quote & presented very reasonable prices for a two man team for two hours. He continued to be quick to respond to communication leading up to the load in time (I was a Nervous Nancy trying to coordinate driving a truck in from out of state & the movers for a very specific move in window). I probably had more things packed than what I described (it always seems to go from 0 to 100 when loading) but the two movers were prompt & we were able to tag team the unload to make it work in the two hour window from the complex. This is also taking into account the truck parking spot was about a 100 yard walk (and a ramp) away from the loading elevator & then my apartment turned out to be about as far as possible from the elevator as well. Every load felt like a trip to Mordor & I was considering lighting my belongings on fire to be done with the whole moving "adventure" but the the movers were positive & responsive throughout the unload. In summary, I could not have completed my move without Super Movers & they couldn't have been more helpful for my basic truck unload.

I appreciate them stepping up to the game and getting my house done after a previous moving company no showed me. They would have received five stars, had they told me they broke some of my furniture. Instead they hid it and left.

My early communications with the owner seemed like the move would go really well. Unfortunately, we had a variety of issues on the day of. I emailed the owner after the move and have heard nothing back. Main points, which I emailed to the owner post-move: 1) The movers arrived about 1 hour and 20 minutes late. I was only notified that they'd be late after I called the owner 30 minutes after their scheduled arrival. Even then, they called me and said they needed another 20-30 minutes to stop for food and then drive to my apartment, and they took 40 minutes. The delay meant that the cleaners we had scheduled for 3 hours after the move start time needed to wait outside for about 30 minutes to start, which caused me to incur extra cleaning charges. 2) The movers damaged a light fixture in the apartment they were moving me out of. When they were moving the couch, they forgot the fixture was there, and shattered it. They apologized and we were able to clean it up, but I was charged for the repair by the apartment building. 3) The crew didn't seem to have any tools, despite the original quote mentioning that they'd come with a full toolkit. I needed to use my own pliers to remove a bolt from the bottom of the couch, and they didn't have a measuring tape to ensure that the couch would fit through the door. Additionally, they didn't wrap some things I would've expected them to (TVs, full-length mirror, speakers), but opted instead to carry them without any protection. There was no damage, but there could've been. 4) We were planning to pay by credit card, but the crew wasn't able to accept a credit card at the end of the move. We were able to pay by check, but it was frustrating to not be able to pay by card when that was specifically mentioned in the quote. The crew should've asked up front how we were planning to pay, then warned us that a card might not be possible so we were prepared with another option. The crew tried to call the owner to use the card, but got no response, which is really concerning. A few additional notes: - All in all, the move went very slowly despite minimal protection added to our belongings. We were originally quoted 3 hours, and they took 4.75 hours. I know quotes are subjective since the owner couldn't see our apartment and belongings, but they movers were actually taking a long time to move each piece. - I had to fill up my Jeep because 1) they were moving so slowly that I needed to get things out of the apartment more quickly, and 2) the movers asked me to take the lamps because they were afraid they'd break in the truck (which seems like something they should be able to account for, since my previous moving company was able to move lamps from the East Coast without any issues). - There were two movers, one of which seemed to know what he was doing, while the other was training. I wouldn't have had an issue with this, other than the fact that I was paying by the hour. - At one point, one of the movers asked if one of their roommates could join them to finish the move. I didn't really understand why I was being asked, but I agreed to keep the process moving without an issue. No third person ever showed up and I never heard about it again.

Super Movers This crew is awesome. They arrived on time and were extremely efficient. I moved from a two story building to a three story building and couldn't have done it by myself. I asked for a quote on yelp and William responded quickly with an accurate quote for the move. He quoted 3 hours and was spot on. His team packed the truck and unloaded it at the new location in a very timely manner. This is a great company to help you if you are moving out of an apartment and need to clean the place from top to bottom. I was in a crunch and needed a cleaning crew to clean my place before turning in the keys. Esmeralda and her crew arrived on time with all of the supplies needed for the job. Although i was pre-occupied with the movers, the cleaning team spread out and cleaned every nook and cranny of the place. I'm very satisfied with this company. If you are looking for a cleaning crew look no further than Super Movers.

Just wanted to give a status update. I received a full refund of the $1,900.00 that I was charged. This should cover everything they broke and that went missing except the broken plate from our wedding china. They were not cooperative at all. I had to file a claim with my credit card company to resolve this matter. This experience is not what I expected from your company or from you specifically. I was charged $1,900.00 on what should have been a $850.00 for our initial deal. The job was misquoted, once notified you sent a second truck and two guys at $40.00 truck fee and $25.00 per guy. The truck was over an hour late and was a lot smaller. Even Adrien's crew said it should've been a 26 foot truck. Aaron and his partner loaded the smaller truck. They were there to help the first crew but the first crew left them behind. I don't know when they were done but I was told they were there five hours. Then Adrien said the initial amount due was $2400.00, this included a $300.00 service fee, two hours of travel time, one hour each way, $50.00 per mover for all five movers. I told him thats not correct several times per our initial agreement and the agreed upon rate for the second truck and two additional movers he didn't believe me. As soon as I showed Adrien the quote from you he changed the $300.00 service fee to $100.00. He also told me that I had to pay for their travel time, one hour each way. Then he told me you offer a military discount of 15% but when he realized how much it came to he quickly took it back. They broke a plate from from our wedding china and Adrien blamed my wife for poor packing. My wife is very smart and knows how to properly pack fragile dishes, she packed the china very well. Cody, one of the home builders from Maritage Homes had stopped by to check on us and was there when my wife opened the box. He witnessed exactly how it was packed. They broke a large mirror, our dinning table and one of our small 42" TVs. What makes this worse is after loading the two small TVs onto the truck Adrien asked me if I could put the TVs in my car. He said they didn't have enough straps to hold them but the truck didn't have very much in it and there were straps available. This is because they broke the TV in the truck and now are trying to blame me. They also left our washer and dryer behind, refused to put a dresser where my wife requested, caused damage to my sons dresser, did not reassemble any of the furniture and damaged one of the base boards in the stairwell to the basement, stained wall in the stairwell by rubbing against it, turned boxes upside and down one leaked cooking oil. Any thing that they wrapped with blankets was done only because I asked them. Common since dictates you wrap all furniture items properly, why else bring 80 blankets. I had two brand new moving blankets that i purchased on the aquarium they moved and they took them. I have pictures of all the damages. They left trash from drinks on the front lawn at my previous address and then left soda cans from drinks that my wife was nice enough to give them setting around the new house. I'm missing a brand new aluminum floor jack only used once and a bag of tools including a bandit tool. I'm disputing the charge for $1,900.00 placed on my credit card. They left without giving me any kind of documentation or reciept and did a extremely bad job. I have a neighbor that lives accross the street from where we moved from that can confirm how much time they wasted standing around. I was shocked when you replied to my Yelp post and tried to make it sound like it was my fault that everything happened and have refused to reply to a number of emails I have sent trying to work this out. I have fought with the idea of leaving this review. I contacted Super Movers and setup an appointment which I had to postpone twice but there was no problem, William was very accommodating. I did notice that he always wants to communicate via email. The first time I called him it went to a wrong number, so I went to their website and the same wrong number was listed there. I should have canceled right then. On move day they were ten minutes late and later lied and said they were ten minutes early. The guys notice that the job had been misquoted immediately and called for a second truck and crew. First crew was three guys and one 26 foot box truck, second crew was two guys and a small budget truck. Even the first crew made comments about the small truck saying it should have been 26 foot as well. So over all they trashed one of our large mirrors, scrapped up three different pieces of our wood furniture, broke a plate from our wedding china and blanked my wife for not packing right. When she opened the box the home build was at our home to check on us and he saw first hand how well the box was packed. They broke my sons TV and tried to hide it asking if I would mind taking the two smaller TVs since they didn't have enough straps. I knew they had the straps and pads needed, I could see them, I thought they were just nervous since the china incident. They left our washer and dryer behind and some other things as well. Then tried to say I owed them $2,400.00 when our initial deal was $850.00. It did take them twice as long and a extra two men and a little truck but his break down showed a $300.00 dollar service fee but I was quoted a $100.00 device fee by William in writing and he is the owner. He didn't beleave me and I had to let him read the email. At $2,050.00 he said the company has a military discount of 15% but when I showed him on a calculator how much it was he quickly withdrew the offer. I finally settle on $1,900.00 but I felt ripped off. About 30 minutes after they left my son unwrapped his TV. That's when I went around and checked everything and all the damages to the furniture and to our brand new home. A big smudge on the stairwell wall and dirty hand prints all over the white wall caps. My wife had given them several soft drinks and water and they left there trash around for us to clean up. I sent William a very long and discriptive email with over twenty pictures and I told him I was going to call my bank and dispute the charges. He acknowledged that he got it and said he was on a move and would contact me later. He never did and he does not respond to email and I have not been able to reach him, he is refusing to work with me so this will probably end up in small claims court eventually. Do not use them, pretty sure they have several fake reviews!!! They are the worst ever!!! Over charged, broke china, kitchen table, tv and large mirror. Scrached several pieces of furniture, left washer, dryer and parts of bunk beds behind at old location. They made excuses for everything they did wrong and still expected a gratuity. William said he would get back to me and never has. Looks like a legal fight now. Save yourself the time and hassle and a lagitimate company not this rip off. I have fought with the idea of leaving this review. I contacted Super Movers and setup an appointment which I had to postpone twice but there was no problem, William was very accommodating. For the second time I used Super Movers and for the second time I was very pleased with how the move went. What I wasn't so pleased with... It took longer than expected as only two movers were here this time rather than three from last time as I'd told them, but my stuff was moved without the guys taking any breaks; both Robby and Jackson were very professional and I would highly recommend both those two as well as Super Movers if you need to move. I'll be using them a third time here in the next few months most likely. I'd recommend asking for three movers though if you have a lot of heavy stuff, as with only two movers it more than double the move time and also more than double the cost of the move. Having said that? Easy five stars because of the professionalism of Robby and Jackson. I had to move some pretty heavy stuff and hired Super Movers... I definitely made the right choice. Marques and Dyonta did an amazing job and didn't damage a single thing. What I thought would take 4 hours only took 3, and both guys did an awesome job and didn't take any breaks. The really nice thing about Super Movers is that they don't start charging you until they actually arrive, not when they leave their hub like a lot of companies will do. Great service, great movers, and William who I originally spoke to got back to me in a quick and timely fashion whenever I had questions. Will definitely use you guys again next time I move!

Super Movers did an excellent job for me. They were very professional and respectful. All furniture was wrapped with cling wrap. They used efficient and thought out ways of filling our truck to the brim safely. I appreciated that their company will load a third party truck or pod. I rented a trailer form Upack and they loaded it. I paid for labor only. The only thing I found lacking was the administrative side. They do not provide a contract at any time. They did send me terms and conditions, but I believe without a signature it may not be binding legally. They do not ask for a deposit which I found to be unprofessional. There was also no confirmation by email or phone the day or so before my move to confirm that they were coming. When I emailed to confirm I received no response. They didn't seem to have a secretary, the person I was in contact with also helped with moves.

Please do not use this company! You would be better Off renting your own truck and doing it yourself. Nothing of what they advertise about their services are actually true to form. I contacted the business initially on yelp and the manager was responsive. And wanted me to confirm the move via the Yelp messaging, no deposit or contract was noted at the time. Which we thought was bizarre. I asked them to email me the contract and terms of service. A week later they sent me the contract. Once I signed it and returned it I had asked questions about moving insurance. That was the first of the three times I reached out to them to get something in place. Till the minute the movers arrived not a single response was given to me with regards to my insurance needs. My husband and I did a gradual move and were really grateful to have had the opportunity to get things over to our new place prior to the movers arriving on Sunday. Had we not done this we would be in our own personal hell. Our move was scheduled for September 8 at 9 AM. The rate was $100 an hour with a two hour minimum plus a $75 equipment rental fee. The manager estimated it for hour move. At 7 AM on Sunday I got an email from the company saying that they had staffing issues and cannot start at 9am. They gave me two options. First they can start at 2 PM with a 50% discounted rate or they would cover the full cost of movers if I could find some on the same day. Immediately I contacted at the moving company three times to no answer. Then I tried to contact the new building to see if the elevator was available later that day. Once everything was coordinated, given the last-minute notice I actually went with the 2 PM option. When they arrived at 2:15 my husband and I pointed out a couple of delicate/high-priority items and they insured us that they would take care of it and told us how they go about doing things. It was 9 PM before we got done. All they had to move was our big pieces of furniture. Our bathrooms, kitchen, fragile items and clothing were all moved in advance. They were unable to disassemble and reassemble both of our upholstered platform beds. My husband who has multiple sclerosis was actively working with them the entire time they were doing their job. They kept disappearing and moved at the slowest pace possible. It seems as if they were going so slow to get to the original value of the move. I'll spare you the additional details but it was the worst series of events. Then at 9 PM when they were trying to be done they informed us of new directives from their manager who said there's a $200 minimum before the 50% discount went into place. I refused to give them that, showed them the email their boss sent me at 7 AM. The lead of the crew showed me the text from their boss at noon. I did not engage that and I wrote down my calculations of the 6 1/2 hours that they worked and wrote a check for it. The night before the move I got an email from the company saying that their square system was down. That's not true because as a business owner I am aware that square was totally working on Sunday. Even paying for that was a painful experience. They did not empty out the garage at our last place nor did they move any of our trash cans or paintings that were ready for them to box and move. Additionally they had no boxes to put the frames and after they advertised that they have them in tow. If anything at approximately 330 the lead mover asked me to go get them some more shrink wrap and gave me $25. My husband and I and our 20 years together have moved 13 times. We have never had such an experience with movers. If anything we've always experienced moving companies that want to nickel and dime you for every single packaging material... This one didn't even come prepared with their own materials! ‍ I cannot stress this enough do not use this company!

I used these guys twice already a few years back they moved me from my apartment into storage while my home was being built, and again last summer they moved me into my home. For starters Will made the process so simple answering all my questions and quoting the proper amount of man power. They stayed in communication leading up to my move date which was a relief since I've had a previous company not show up for a move. Both moves I had Eli and Calvin move me and both times like clockwork they showed up wrapped my furniture and got it on the truck in record time and while unloading they're always careful to ask where each box and each piece of furniture goes. I can't recommend them enough! Stay Super guys.

Definitely would not recommend these movers. I waited until I moved again to even leave a review, because behavior and comments made left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and scared to even post a warning on here for others. I'm not sure if management and staffing has changed since my experience, but I would take caution here.

★★★★★
I had a flawless move thanks to these guys. From beginning to end it was a clear and no hidden fees. I shopped around a lot and they had by far the best rates and lowest minimum hours of everyone I called. Their guys were super professional and in the zone they got right to work and knocked everything out quickly. I couldn't have done this move by myself and I'm really happy I found them. They called when they were on their way and when they arrived and told me exactly when they would start their billing time. Completely transparent the entire move. I highly recommend this company to help you move they're honest, friendly and work really hard to get the job done quickly and efficiently.

I used Super Movers when William Clark was the owner in August of 2019. I did not have any issues with him or the crew that moved me from Denver to Las Vegas. We did have some minor scratches on our wooden furniture but other than that we had a great experience. They were reasonably priced, super quick loading and also helped towed our second car to Las Vegas.

We recently moved a 6 bedroom home. After calling the big box movers and getting outrageous pricing, I found Super Movers and spoke to Will. Very professional, knew his stuff and answered all my questions. Pricing was amazing. But the care and work ethic of his crew on packing and moving day was second to none. The lady packers did an outstanding job boxing up our stuff (make sure they label what room you want it to go to!) and the guys did a great job packing up our furniture. Move day was long but the crew was super friendly, organized, knew what beds went where, etc. We were VERY PLEASED with Super Movers and I have already started recommending them to others. Great job guys!

Cedric, Calvin, and Toray were amazing! They communicated when they would arrive and arrived right on time. They were incredibly friendly and made the moving process go smoothly. They made a stressful process much easier. Their rates are incredibly reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone!

The crew that moved me was great! They took really good care of my belongings, carefully wrapping every piece. I underestimated the time and amount of items I had (I m probably not the first one!) so Super Movers adjusted their schedules and crews to make sure my needs were met. They worked hard the entire time and were polite and kind.
