My 74 year old mother is going to the police station today because half of her things are missing and she was repeatedly asked for tips from the movers and she had no more money left and was bullied. I have a feeling they just left and threw her things in the closest dumpster just to be mean. She told me that she called the office and was told that there's nothing they can do. What a terrible thing for a frail senior to have to go through. She's sick about it. I do have the right company. The fact that you are unaware of the situation is probably why you have the problem. When you hear from the Arlington Heights police department about a senior woman's missing belongings then you'll know why.”

Generally they did a good job with our move disappointing to find a tv was damaged and all we could retrieve for the cost was 10.50. This was a 42 inch Flat screen tv, note to all if you do not have a receipt you will not get full value. Also it’s completely absurd to send back letters to the claim agent and they will send it to the mover if you accept the offer. Unnecessary steps to avoid you as the customer retrieving from your loss, by making you run through hoops for an STI caused loss. My advice is, pack your own electronics and do not trust them to STI.”

BEWARE! Worst experience ever. We were told that our furniture would be here by November 3rd. It’s now November 16th. Our furniture has still not left AZ. We called to check on it and they were incredibly rude. Adi and Solona are not only rude, their lack of care is astonishing. We are being told we are lucky if we get our furniture but December 1st. It’s starting to feel like a scam. We still have no date and no furniture.”

I scheduled a long distance move from AZ to MA via Unpakt. The moving crew in AZ was fantastic, Marcos was very polite and professional. Then the problems began. We signed a paper in person stating that our first available move-in day was the 10th; somehow, wires got crossed and the company had the 21st in their system because they didn't update from Unpakt. I had to call THREE TIMES to figure this out, after being repeatedly promised that the company would call me back with no follow-up. First (at phone call #3, mind you) I was told my items would not arrive until after the 19th. Okay, that's still within the promised delivery spread of 10 delivery days (after which is $25/day compensation for late delivery). It is now the 23rd and I had to call again for an update. NOW they are saying "after the 30th" AND that they have 18 business days before they have to compensate me. I was "given the wrong paper." Not my problem; I signed a paper that said 10 business days after the 10th. I am typically very patient and have been understanding thus far, but the follow through from this company has been EXTREMELY unprofessional. I shouldn't have to hound a company to know where my stuff is. In response to my call I get another "We'll call you back." No apology, no explanation, no nothing. Obviously I'm not expecting a callback. Use this company if you enjoy not knowing where your stuff is over over a month, sleeping on the floor, and eating off paper plates for Thanksgiving. UPDATE: I called back, was connected with the dispatcher, who basically told me to deal with it while giving me more excuses. Great CS.”

I used STI to move my stuff from Chicago to Las Vegas. The pickup was on time and efficient. We were told 1-14 business days for delivery but it probably wouldn't take that long. After about 7 days we called to get an update and was told our stuff was still in Chicago. We called again 5 days later and was told the stuff was on its way. Which turned out to be false Im assuming because it took another 5 days before our stuff arrived. Bad communication. Took 16 days for us to get our stuff. Driver called the night before and said he would be there between 7-8am. 845am comes and we call them and he says,"I'll call you back in 15 mins. 30 mins later he calls and says his truck wont start and He will be to us between 12pm-2pm. He called us at 11am and said he was 20 miles away. The movers were quick and efficient. I wouldn't recommend this company because I didn't feel they were honest with delivery time and the communication was horrible. If you want to keep calling and seeing where your stuff is and dont need it for 3-4 weeks, STI is the company for you.”
