They moved unassembled beds, drawers, sofa, cabinet, bookshelf, dining table, air conditioner, bicycle and chairs. They used fabric and tape magically wrap all the furniture and load on the truck very carefully without any damages. I moved the most of packages and clothes by my self, so everything done in a day! The various estimates were frankly ridiculous for a small two bedroom in San Francisco, with little furniture and me doing the extra prep on to pack and box everything. Pablo and his team arrived earlier than appointment time and started working right away. They make your money’s worth and did not waste any time packing and setting up. They were incredibly fast. They finished packing the big furniture in 2 hours and got moving into the new house. They are very careful with your things. Make sure they are padded and nothing gets damaged. They are very transparent with their pricing as well. He will tell you how much things he will need to use and how much additional cost. No surprises! Pablo and the team are very courteous, professional and nice. They will even show you ahead if your furniture is a little wobbly just to make sure they did not cause the damage. Spartan communicated well when the move was close (a day or two before) and the day of (calling 45min before arrival). They also explained what was extra cost (mattress covers) and what was included. The guys are fast and accommodating, which saves me time (and money). It just feels that they care about customers and care about reviews. Will gladly use them next time as well. Oh, and I did compare prices from year to year, they made sense. It was fewer hours this time and cost me just about $1000 to move all my boxes, bed, and furniture from Redwood City to Mt. View. Last year it was $1300, but getting the apt key and the farther location of the loading dock justify this difference. So, the prices are not stochastic, but sensibly just.”

First time paying a moving company to move our 3 bed/3 bath home. We had a lot of stuff and the team did a fantastic job. They provided notification/reminder a week and a day before the move. They called me at 8:30am to notify when they were arriving and they were there 15 minutes early. When they arrived, they assessed the rooms, the furniture and the amount of boxes we had to move. They had a strategy and the guys went to work immediately. They taped all the furniture with covers and made sure it was all protected. I had a fantastic move with Spartan. I moved from San Francisco to Sacramento on Memorial Day weekend. Customer service was excellent. Spartan called to confirm my move the day before and really put me at ease. Miguel and 2 workers came by right on time. They packed and wrapped my furniture (full bed, 2 dressers, bookcase, nightstand, TV stand, 46in TV, couch, bike, and 10 boxes) incredibly securely. Everything was taken to the moving truck efficiently within 1 hour of arrival. Upon arrival in Sacramento, Miguel and his movers brought everything up to my new studio. The couch and bed were re-assembled. Everything came undamaged. In total, I will billed for 7 hours (3 hours of moving + 2x driving time from SF to Sacramento). I used Spartan Movers in the past and all worked well, but today (12/19/20) they disappointed me greatly. The movers left the The Village Residence lobby door (at 545 San Antonio Rd, CA 94040) wide open and unattended 3 times during the move for the duration of a couple of hours about 10am-12pm PT. When I asked them to keep it closed and identify themselves, they started arguing nonsense in the form of "Is this your building? If not, then why are you complaining?" The whole conversation was highly unprofessional. It demonstrated carelessness about the security of my home.”
