My Name is Michelle. I am the owner of Radius Moving and Storage Corp. Working with many moving companies in the past 14 years taught me a lot about the industry. It always bothered me to see customers get ripped off, low balled, given empty promises, etc. I wanted to open a company that could understand a customer and see them as a person not just a profit. Everyone’s situation is different. Even though I have been told this is a bad habit, I always like to put myself in the customers shoes. I understand that everyone has a budget and it is hard to go over the budget especially when it is a large amount. We are in the process of reestablishing our business. We acknowledge the bad reviews. Unfortunately, we can not please everyone but will continue to do our best to provide the best service possible from beginning to end.

I have moved several times over the years and I have to admit this is the worst company I have ever dealt with.. between the movers basically damaging just about everything I had them moved, the not communicating, and being over 20 days late ... I filed a claim with their insurance which came up with $186.00 recovery compared to over $2000.00... that $186.00 doesn’t even cover the TV... I will be looking at alternatives to recover the damages.. I have asked for my contact to give me a managers or owners contact number and he doesn’t even respond back.. I would think a company that “promotes” quality and reliability - they would make thing right.. oh- maybe cause it’s not his household items - I’m sure that would be a different story ... I have pictures of every item that was damaged and when I sent them to my contact - not even an apology - just contact our insurance ... where’s the old school - we will make things right ..”

Kevin Was courteous but that is not enough!! He was just the driver. This company made my move a nightmare! The intial move price was over $3000 on the move day they wanted $2000 more. We refused to pay more and had to rent a truck for the boxes they left. That was $3000 more that we had to pay. The delivery should have been between 1-5 days. 27 days later my belongings arrived broken, damaged, water damaged, many boxes missing, orher people's furniture with clothes hanging out. My furniture is missing and broken. Many boxes damaged, open and run through. I made Kevin take other people's stuff out. The company is unresponsive and has no resolve for me. I want a full refund as well as payment for my stolen damaged belongings. PLEASE!!!! SAVE YOURSELF MENTAL ANGUISH!!! THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW!!!! THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST EVER!!!”

Kevin was very professional. He was very responsive to the time my stuff was moved to the eta on delivery. I would highly recommend him. I don’t recommend A1 plus moving storage. They will make it seem like it’s going to be a smooth process but it was the worst nightmare I’ve ever had to deal with. I would have rather deal with Radius directly and give him all of my money rather than dealing with A1 plus storage. In addition, I spoke to the owner of Radius and told her my experience through this process and provided my feedback. She listened and was very understanding. I would recommend services directly from Radius and avoid these brokers who are not concerned about anything but that commission.”

I had to reschedule SIX times due to my closing getting pushed back, and he got my back every single time. Neither less to say, he represents the company very well. I had a rather pleasant experience with radius, from speaking with the lady who set up my move to the men that came to my home. I can say I actually was a little scared to use them at first because of the reviews that I read. So I at first chose another company but that company was horrible as soon as they came to my home they tried to basically rob me so I sent them away and I called radius and spoke with my customer service rep and I only had 24 hours to get out of my house but I tell you she worked her magic and got the men to me within 3 hours I was so happy. You don't understand at first I was scared because of what happened to me but she promised me her crew was not like that and they aren't I had these men come to my home and pack everything and did a great job. I was so happy with there services I booked them for my mother in law also which she will be moving next week. I am just genuinely happy because the only thing that costed me extra was because I didn't pack everything because I was supposed to leave some stuff behind but they gave me a great price for everything so I decided to take everything. My move happened on 1/2 and now I'm getting a call that my items are in route to me for delivery do you know how pleased I am I thought maybe another couple of days at least but nope I should have them by tomorrow morning. So I want to say from me and my family to the Radius Moving and storage family thank you we couldn't thank you enough. We can't wait for you to move my mother in law”

Had a very very poor experience moving with Radius from Boston to Los Angeles. We worked with the company to get the cost based on amount of household goods and packing materials needed. On the day of the move with half of the apartment already loaded on the truck, the cost suddenly doubled and Radius refused to accept anything but cash which was impossible to take that large of a sum out from the ATM. It was extremely difficult to get any invoice laying out the new charges or stating an accurate balance of what had been paid vs. owed. The move itself was slow with no updates on the progress or ETA (on the phone 2 weeks after the load day all they could share was "it's on a truck" - where? In Boston or en route to LA? The Radius rep had no idea). Multiple items were damaged upon delivery and they had not even used all of the packing materials that they were charging for. They also showed up with the moving truck a day before the scheduled delivery which forced us to stop everything to accommodate the delivery. I would not recommend Radius.”

It started off great over the phone with a great price but when the movers showed up at my house without giving warning they were coming at all they said the inventory didnt match the price. I had mainly boxes and a couple big items but the quote went from 3k to 4k. I had to borrow money from my parents to help with the rest. They then ruined my loveseat before it even got out of my house and before i could take pics of it they had already wrapped it and put it on the truck. They finally finished packing and said i will get my stuff no later then june 29th. Which is false because it is july 4th and my stuff is still sitting in the warehouse in nj.i have called everyday asking what is going on and the lady first told me it will be leaving the weekend of june 29th and i will be getting the driver info soon. Monday comes and still nothing so i call again and she told me that they had truck issues. I still have no belongings yet and it is july 4th. Beware of this company! They will take your money and your stuff but wont deliever it.”

The moment I booked, I started to receive immediate attention. The pick up went smooth, and so did delivery. It did take a little longer than I expected, but I would rather that instead of paying for a full truck I didn't need. This was my first experience with a moving company and definitely the last time I'm using this company. Trying to schedule pick up and delivery was a hassle. For someone trying to plan an interstate move, I need to be able to confirm the schedule earlier than a week in advance. They just told me someone would come Saturday or Sunday, then they could move me earlier and pick up on Friday, then they couldn't and I never got a confirmation of which day or time, so I was caught completely off guard by the mover calling at 7am saying he had arrived. Then the company only sent one mover, Robert, who was quite plesant to work with and he was probably to only positive thing about this move. He moved everything out to the truck by himself, and I genuinely felt bad that he had to do that alone. Now, calling the main office was an exercise in patience because whoever is managing their office/answering their phones should NOT be in customer service. She had a nasty attitude, clearly had no patience to answer my questions and did not provide any helpful answers to help with my planning. She would snap at me on the phone when I would ask her questions that I feel, as the dispatcher, she should be able to help answer like "do you know when my stuff will be delivered?" When my items were delivered to me, that's where the bulk of my problems are. Based on the conditions of the boxes, it was crystal clear that there was absolutely NO regard for my belongings once they had left my possession and went to storage. The boxes clearly looked as if they were simply tossed around. I mean, brand new boxes I bought for the move were returned to me after 2 weeks worn, torn, and crushed like I had used the same boxes for every move in my life. I had more broken dishes than what I felt was acceptable, and large picture frames that were broken which I had to replace. I understand that some things will get broken in a move, but almost half of my dishes had to be replaced because of the negligence and them stacking heavy boxes on time of the ones marked "fragile" or "dishes". I could've overlooked the not-so-stellar customer service if my items had been returned to me in the condition they left in. I was truly disappointed in the fact that there was no ethic of care involved in storing and delivering my belongings. I would be very cautious about using this company.”
