Not sure if it's the company or the particular crew that worked my job, but it was the worst moving experience ever. Showed up late, worked slowly, wrapped my furniture badly, stacked boxes in the wrong order (soft stuff on the bottom), constantly yelled at each other, took social phone calls while working, then at some point switched into frantic mode to unload and throw my furniture around as quickly and carelessly as possible, obviously to make a 5pm exit.”

I am not going to bore you with all the awful details. Let's just say I had to use them twice. I would not have had the second move with them had they not had my stuff in their storage. So even though I asked for a different team the second time around, my overall experience was quite negative. First team was just a disaster: careless and inattentive to details. They literally put a hole in my newly finished floors on top of multiple damaged and broken items, including the ones they packed themselves (kitchen). I got this back from the boss: that's strange, they're an experienced crew, must have been because it was a long hot day for them. I thought my second team was an improvement until we got a destroyed $1000 crate & barrel desk. By destroyed I mean it was snapped into two. Their boss literally just said: "that's the risk of moving. Things break". There is just too much to write to cover it all. They refuse to take responsibility for anything. It's appalling. I have moved soooooo many times and have never experienced so much damage and frustration. Look elsewhere if you don't want to gamble with your stuff and sanity.”

For our move from MA to NY Oscars Moving Company was a 5 star service from start to finish. Randy took our call and understood our deadline immediately then dispatched Jerry to perform a walk through assessment. Jerry called before the arrival time and offered an earlier option which helped us beyond words. We explained we had been bumped by our previous choice and were in a hard place. He assessed accurately and quickly then rushed our assessment to the office. Randy provided a quote within an hour and we were booked! Within days Oscars Moving team arrived and got to work. George, Jeremy, and Aiden plus 2 additional team members arrived on time and walked through details with us then got to loading. They loaded 1700 sq ft within hours and took time to carefully wrap fragile items (TV, shelving with glass doors etc). The following day George, Jeremy, and Aiden arrived and unloaded in the same professional way they packed, protected our floors while working and even taking time to move a large hutch from one room to another. All our possessions are intact, nothing broken. We cannot express how grateful we are to Oscars Moving for the easy and efficiency of their service. Highly recommend them as a first choice.
