By far the worst moving company I have ever used. Not sure where all the high reviews came from. First and foremost, our stuff was ruined, where multiple items were completely broken. This includes, a dresser, bed frame, and multiple lamps. In addition to this, almost all our furniture was dinged or scratched during the move. This was mainly because they refused to wrap anything properly. Our mattresses were either stained or torn because of the way they were handled. They didn't even dismantle the bed completely before moving it. This is the first time I've seen anyone move a bed like that and as a result it kept hitting the door/elevator while trying to turn the big bed frame. They also damaged the floor of the condo we moved into. The biggest issue, is their overall lack of professionalism. When I tried getting in contact with them to do the damage claim, they kept giving me the runaround. It took almost 2 months to resolve because they simply won't pickup the phone, let alone call you back. Good luck getting in contact with them when something goes wrong. Literally go with anyone else.”

Used them for a local move in Seattle. I had a feeling that things weren't going to go well when 2 of the 3 person team started complaining about the fact that my apartment building had no elevators. Puts me in a kind of awkward position because I'm paying for a service but now I'm feeling guilty for asking them to do it? I don't know. But that's not the reason for this review. I used them to move into a new townhome. My first home, pretty exciting stuff. I should have taken pictures of the walls before they started moving stuff because they absolutely destroyed my walls and marked up some of my furniture. I told them a couple of times, "hey guys, this is a new house can you be more careful?" Like new construction, not just new in the sense that I just bought it. But instead they chose to just shove my furniture through. I expected them to at least measure the bigger furniture to figure out how to get it inside before marking up my walls. When it came time to pay there was hardly any remorse for the condition of my walls and furniture. No offer for a discount or anything. I was shocked. I still tipped them well because they moved my belongings but the absolute disregard for my home was beyond disappointing. This is all to say, take the time to go with a more expensive company. But even then I paid over $1200 to move from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 2 bedroom townhome which seems kind of crazy in it of itself.”

We recently moved with On the go movers. I would not recommend them because the boxes were dumped randomly. We had labeled 90% of the boxes and directed them where the boxes should go, but please look at how the boxes were stacked right in front of the door. I would think it is common sense to not block a door when you stack boxes. Across all rooms, boxes were just randomly kept right where you enter, we had to move a great deal of boxes just so we could enter / walk around. Clearly we weren't working with professionals. Our walls ( stairway) has bern scratched mostly due to negligence. I would NOT recommend them at all.”

Hired 3 guys and a truck to move a townhouse 2b/2.5bath+ single garage 10 miles. Took 8 hours with me helping a lot and cost over $1600 Previously movers moved me in out same type of townhouse ~2 hours each way. I live in a unit with 22 stairs, packed boxes far too heavy for my frame size to manage easily even with a friend. Two awesome, joyful, kind men hustled so hard and fast. Moving to Washington from Chicago last December, our stuff got wrecked and I was bracing myself for the impact of this move, but my gosh - i had absolutely nothing to worry about. Nothing got scratched, dropped, banged, nothing got broken, and they were so polite and nice. An antique table got damaged from the December move, and they had a furniture finish repair kit to fix it - and it wasn't even their doing. These guys trashed our stuff. We purchased cost of replacement insurance. They acknowledge the damage occurred but insist that we provide 'proof of purchase' to make a claim. Some of our stuff I got from my grandparents. Other stuff was purchased 20 years ago. They have very low expertise disassembling and assembling furniture. For example, when they disassembled two large, similar but different glass wardrobes, they put all of the hardware in one bag. Also, when assembling a glass bookshelf, my wife had to help them because they couldn't figure it out and were resorting to using tape to hold it together. Speaking of tape, the tape they packed the same bookshelf with will take hours to scratch off. Mainly, though our complaint is the vast amount of stuff they damaged and their unwillingness to honor the cost of replacement insurance we purchased from them. Our basement flooded Friday morning during that heavy rainstorm we had December 2019. The wall to wall carpet needed to go. We called On The Go Movers Saturday morning and they came Sunday morning: Taylor, Dylan, Marquis and Riley. We had no time to pack or prepare anything since we were too busy wet vacuuming the basement. They arrived a little early and got straight to work. They were professional and worked very well together as a team. One of them told my wife to relax, they will take care of everything which they did quietly and quickly under challenging conditions. This included things such as disassembling and packing two large, complex glass wardrobes my wife brought from Germany. The wall to wall carpet was removed Monday before the smell got very bad and one week later our basement is bone dry. We feel very fortunate to have found them and look forward to having them move our belongings back after the basement floor is tiled.”

I used to like their service a lot. Over the last 3-4 years, I have used them 3 times. Their service and customer friendly has been degraded a lot over each time. Based on my past experience, I went to them directly without looking around. I regret it right now after their unprofessional service. The same set of furniture was moved in less than 3 hours back in 2018 and this time they took ~5 hours doing it slowly and trying to charge me more referring it takes 30 mins one way from Redmond to Redmond. One of the guy that came for the service has some issues with his attitude of getting things done. He wants to prolong as long as he can and he has shown racism as well towards me. Over the previous attempts all the furniture and equipment was wrapped properly and this time there is no wrapping at all. When asked they referred they can get this done quickly in this way and still took more than what they did earlier. They also did a damage in the hallways and there is no response from the on the go moving management on this. Glad that my tenant agreed to waive of the damage and he took care of it. I tried to report the same to the person who helped me in scheduling the move via phone and there is no call back from them. Shared all the details in the email and there is no response and acknowledgment from the On the Go Moving & Storage. Horrible Management. Thank you for your wonderful service. I recently had OTG deliver a used riding lawnmower and accessories to my house. I hadn't ever used a professional mover before and was apprehensive about not doing it myself. With covid-19 abound, I was also worried about having someone I didn't know at my house... On the Go put all my worries to rest. Scheduling was easy. They worked with me to fit the delivery into my schedule and I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of the communication. The mover arrived on time and in uniform. He was wearing a face mask and gloves and had a very pleasant demeanor. My house is on a narrow street and I was concerned about blocking the road and inconveniencing my neighbors. Never fear, the driver found close-by parking. He parallel-parked the truck in a tight spot like he'd been doing it for years, leaving enough room to unload the truck with the power lift. I felt bad that he was doing all the work unloading the mower and other items by himself and offered to help, but he politely declined. He unloaded the mower and accessories quickly and with care. Despite my mower and other related items being the only items on the truck, I noticed that everything was packed and wrapped with moving blankets and strapped down tight. Suffice it to say, I was impressed! I felt like On the Go and it's employees treated my belongings like it was their own. After he unloaded the mower and accessories, the mover told me that the previous owner had explained how the mower worked and some of its quirks. He spent the time to convey all that information to me, including showing me how to start and stop the mower, how to hook up the accessories, and how it all worked. This was above and beyond what I expected...I was grateful and appreciative. The communication was excellent! The driver left as seamlessly as he arrived. My only regret was that I didn't have any cash to give him a tip. Obviously, my experience with On the Go was excellent! Above all else I appreciated: (i) the professionalism of the employees in both scheduling and delivery--it was so easy for me; (ii) the care in which my items were moved; (iii) the quality of the driver's communication; and (iv) most importantly, the overall quality of service!! I would highly recommend On the Go Moving!! I will definitely use them again in the future. If you need help moving, OTG and it's employees are your guys!! Thank you, On the Go!!”
