Update: Tim contacted us to apologize and personally offered to help with whatever was left. He kept my husband updated about his arrival and was very friendly, professional, and apologetic. I appreciated that he went out of his way to make things right and the moving he and Tyler did was extremely helpful. Original post: I was so bummed that this service didn't work out. They had great reviews and we just needed some help to move a few huge pieces of furniture. Tim was very communicative when I was asking for a quote, he confirmed the date, and we even got a text message the day before. Tim said the timing would be between 1-5, most likely showing up by 2:30. On the day of, it was 4 and I hadn't heard anything so I texted the number. Didn't hear back so I called and all they said was they were sorry and the previous job took a lot longer than expected. Which would have been fine if they let me know instead of having us wait around. We ended up canceling the order since he couldn't give me any more info on whether they could still come or when they would be coming. It looks like their services are great but if you use them, I guess be sure to constantly check in with them since communication seems to be lacking.”

I have this very large antique piece that needed special skills in moving from the Garage to the house. A previous attempt by neighbors resulted in broken legs!! From the initial contact regarding confirming the date and time until the very end when they cleaned up and drove away, it was as good an experience as one can hope to have when moving. The team that did my move was made up of Tony, Luis, and Alfred. They called 30 minutes prior to arriving at my place. They worked efficiently and wrapped everything up really well. They made sure they put everything where I wanted it when we got to the new place, and they helped set up items like a large clock that needed to be mounted to the wall. They were neat and careful when moving things near the walls and up the stairs. The whole move was done in 4.5 hours. Would definitely recommend to others. Best movers ever. Seriously I've moved a bunch and these guys are by far the best crew I've ever worked with. They were quick, moved fast and wrapped everything! Even things I didn't think about like chairs and tables. Then when we got to our new place, it wasn't ready and they offered to store our stuff for a great price. Then while our stuff was in storage I needed to retrieve documents out of one of the boxes and the owner met me and helped me unload our stuff so I could find what I needed, then he repacked it away when I was done. When we were finally ready with our new spot, they showed up and were still super fast, got everything in safely and efficiently. Super nice, professional, helpful workers and owners, I seriously can not say enough about how much I like this company, I will be using them for all my moving needs. Update: Just used this team again for the 2nd time and was delighted with how well Luis, Tony & Alfred did. They were quick, professional, quick and wrapped everything! This is my second time using OC Mini Movers, and once again their service was excellent. Alfred and Leon were very professional, friendly, punctual and had great personalities. Leon called me 30-45 minutes prior to arriving to let me know that they were on their way and would arrive at 9am (they arrived right on time!), he also asked me a few questions in regards to what they would be moving so that they would be prepared for the job. Upon arrival, Alfred verified a few things with me such as the delivery address and fees. They did a great job at wrapping and protecting all of my furniture (including the couch!!), I was impressed with how well they cared for my furniture. Once my furniture was delivered to the new address, they asked me where I'd like my furniture placed and they also removed the shrink wrap. These guys go above and beyond to make the process of moving easier for us; be nice to them, tip these guys whatever you can afford (they deserve it!), offer water, and most importantly thank them for the heavy lifting that you did not have to do!”

This is the 3rd time I've used OC mini movers, and once again I was very satisfied with their services!! My family needed help moving from their upstairs 3 bedroom apartment, so I suggested OC mini movers. Josh and Adam assisted us with the move, they were very professional, friendly and efficient. I received a call 30 minutes prior to their arrival informing me of what time they'd be there, they also asked a few questions in regard to what they'd be moving for us. When they arrived they asked us a few questions (did we want things wrapped ect) and then they got to work! My family and I did move a few of the smaller things down to the truck on our own to ease some of the workload off of Josh and Adam, not because they needed our help but because it was a big job so we wanted to help out when we could. It took 5.5 hours for a 3 bedroom apartment move including a 35 minute drive to the new location, keep in mind that they had to climb stairs at both locations and they also had to unassemble and reassemble furniture. My family and I were impressed with how fast they completed the job! We thought it would've taken a lot longer. I highly recommend OC Mini Movers, all of the guys that I've encountered thus far are very good at their jobs! The rates are fair, you won't find better rates! My family and I contacted several companies prior to OC mini movers, I'll just say we saved a lot of money! These guys work hard, be polite, offer water, and please tip these guys whatever you can afford to give because they definitely deserve it (they are moving the items that you don't want to move or don't have the ability to move).”

It's not like I need a mover often but when I did I read through yelp reviews and picked these guys. Really glad I did. They're great. Called the night before to confirm, they were here on time the next morning. I had them pick up a bed in OC and drive it to LA, drop it off there then pack up a bunch of other furniture in an LA apt. I had to stay there and finish up some work so I trusted them to bring the furniture back to my home in OC, offload it and lock up. They did exactly what I instructed. As of this writing it's $110 an hour plus approx $150 for size of truck we needed. They will pro-rate if you use 2.5 hours, for example, they'll charge for 2.5 not 3 hours. Things get packed up nicely and you can trust them which is so important when dealing with your personal items. The workers do expect a tip on top of your invoice so be prepared for another 20%. Paid that in cash which they appreciated but you could add to bill. Would def hire again.”
