I would rate this company a negative star if possible. I scheduled a move with them 9 days in advance to start at 9:30 am for a full day move (which was the earliest availability they had and just so happened to be the last possible day I could be out of my rental). As I am moving from a 3 story home I even booked a 3rd mover through them at additional cost. On the afternoon prior to my move (at 3:34 pm to be exact) I received a text message...not a call, A TEXT MESSAGE telling me that they had to cancel the appointment. They stated they had to go the hospital as the reason for the cancellation. Now I am an extremely reasonable and empathetic individual, but simply do not understand how if one individual had to go to the hospital, they could not have at least sent the other 2?!?! Their standard move entails only 2 movers. Completely unacceptable. I would strongly recommend that you do NOT HIRE this company for a move unless you can deal with complete unreliability....as must people can't during a move. Fortunately, I was able to get ahold of another moving company, who were a bit more expensive, but made a special expectation to book an afternoon move for me given my desperate situation. That moving company (Two Men and a Truck) did an amazing job and in the end actually moved everything is less time than estimated so my cost was the same as if I'd have used the original company. Do not be fooled by a slightly lower price and what appears to be some organization and professionalism with New Beginnings Moving...they will leave you hanging.”

We are very grateful for the services of New Beginnings by Robert the owner and Joe, his assistant from their Beach Boulevard location over the weekend as they arrived even before the scheduled pick-up at 2:30 PM last Saturday, as they were able to efficiently and quickly move our beds, couches and other furniture/stuff from our old apartment at Deermeadows. Sidenote: We lived at the 2nd Floor from our complex and had a tight squeeze farther from the steps which made it a little harder to go through. Plus, the road was narrow and a neighbor's guest also parked at the loading zone. Still, we were glad that the guys were able to pull it off and load all our items towards our new place with ease. New Beginnings also has one of the most competitive rates here in town. $55 an hour is a really good price, as most movers here at Jax costs almost at over $70 on average. We will definitely let our family and friends know about our awesome experience with NBG as they sure delivered their motto: "Let Us Move You To Your New Beginning" and surely prevented us from hurting our backs as we thought of grabbing a U-Haul as an option firsthand, good thing we left it at the hands of the professionals 🙂”
