This is a broker not a mover. If you're considering using them, read the fine print. They will make you sign ~11 agreements to indemnify themselves. Example: one flight of stairs is 7 steps. Any more will cost you $75+. You will be charged an additional 5-15% on top of your move. If they misevaluate the cubic feet of your move (difference of 250 cubic feet for me) you are responsible for paying the difference. There is added complexity here if you have a lease expiring and don't learn of the difference until the movers arrive at your residence and it's already too late to find a new mover.”

This company scammed me. I used them for long distance and they used a third part moving truck to come move my things. I had a contract already signed and agreed on and when the movers arrived they demanded $1000 more or that they were going to abandon me there knowing I couldn’t find movers in such short notices as I was going out of state the next day. After 2 hours of arguing they lowered their fake last minute fee to $700 and agreed to load my things on the truck and made me sign new papers agreeing to the extra $700. Also Claiming I had more items when I had less items from my quote as I sold furniture before I even moved. I contacted the moving company and the customer service that deals with complaints ignored all my calls and emails. Don’t go with this company. They hustled me and over charged me $4000+ to move one bedrooms worth of items!”

Do NOT use this company. It is a brokerage company that hires a third party for the move (Atlantic Group USA - movers, DO NOT USE!!!). This was the WORST experience in my life. I would give no stars If I was able to do so. **They claim your items will ship for the estimated price, they DONT, you WILL pay more** **They claim your items are stored by themselves in a climate controlled space, they are NOT - we had water damage to a lamp and had someone else items** 1. late pick up AND late delivery 2. complete lack of communication 3. movers were careless 4. MULTIPLE items damaged and walls/steps were DESTROYED 5. the moving company, Atlantic Group USA was AWFUL 6. only one person spoke English and the main person only spoke Russian, so it was impossible to communicate 7. Moving APT states they can't do anything after the fact to help 8. the claims process is HORRIBLE, lengthy, overly detailed, and takes FOREVER Pick a notable company that is NOT a brokerage company. It will be more pricey, but better service and coverage!”

I really can’t say enough horrible things about this company. They treat your property like trash, there is absolutely no communication and when there is it’s lies. I had to move my start date at work because they never showed up to pick up my stuff. I would have cancelled then but they constantly remind you of their fees to cancel and I couldn’t afford to wait any longer. They never showed on the first scheduled delivery day. Then they finally called to say my stuff was coming so I left my brand new job in a hospital during a pandemic and - they never showed. Never called. After a few days of trying to contact them they gave me yet another delivery date, which they missed. When my stuff finally did arrive. It was shoved in the back of a small rental van. Scratched broken and filthy. I am missing several expensive items and they will not return my messages. They tell you you only deal with one person but that is a lie. I had to deal with several. All who promise don’t worry this time I will really help you. At least one of the guys dropping my stuff off even said “this is f-ing ridiculous” after seeing the condition of my property and noting the missing and broken items. And to anyone missing a box of Christmas decorations, I have it. They tried to give me a large screen TVs too that wasn’t mine. I should have taken it to make up for what they lost and broke but I’m not that kind of person. I’ve reached out several times to ask how I get reimbursed and - crickets. They do not care about you or your property. Just your money. The company MovingApt used was JD Moving. Not that one would know because they use rental vans Save your time, money and aggravation and go anywhere else.”
