We hired Mario Movers to move our 2-bedroom apartment. We had more stuff than a typical 2-bedroom as we were moving into a house. We packed all the boxes ourselves but the guys wrapped our TV and artwork and disassembled the bed. They were very careful with everything and wrapped all furniture and everything else in moving blankets and/or plastic so that everything was protected. Nothing was broken or damaged and they didn't scratch our freshly painted walls either! It ended up taking almost 9 hours which I don't think they expected, as they hadn't brought any lunch, so we ordered burritos for the crew. They weren't the fastest but they were methodical and careful which is more important.”

Lea and her team were great. We had a small move to organize at short notice and she was extremely accommodating and answered any questions we had. The two young guys who came to the house to move our things called 30 mins out as stated (a lot of places say they will do that but never do) and they were careful with all of our fragile belongings and moved extremely fast. Upon arrival at the storage unit it had to be rearranged from previous moves that left it a little hard to pack the new items into, the guys were great with help coordinate this and ensure all items were packed in safely. They completed the whole job in a timely manner and were really pleasant to deal with. Would recommend the team to anyone moving in LA!”

I reached out on Friday morning to try to arrange movers last minute for my move and they were very responsive and accommodating. In less than a handful of quick messages, we were all booked for an 8am move the very next morning. Max showed up exactly on time (to the precise minute) and was very friendly and efficient. He would make sure to ask anytime something needed to be clarified, such as which items I wanted kept separate, more carefully packed, thrown out, etc., and his speed was incredible. In the time I packed my computer desk he had pretty much cleared out all the furniture in my living room! I highly recommend this company and if you are able to schedule far in advance, ask for Max!”

Everyone hates moving, its a pain in the butt and it's so tiring so I was dreading moving house again and I really researched which company to go with. I messaged Mario Moving on Yelp and asked for a quote and decided to go with the 3 movers for $114 per hour cash rate. There is two negative reviews on Yelp, one saying that the movers were slow, and the other one saying that they didn't show up. So I asked Lea (the owner) about these issues and she explained the situation which I was satisfied with. I booked in our date over Yelp messaging and it was very easy and efficient. The company confirmed with me the day before that the movers would arrive between 8am - 9am on Saturday morning. The team led by Paul arrived at 8.40am and we signed the contract and the guys started working at 8.45am. We had prepared and packed all of our boxes and put it in the garage. Everything that we could carry, we arranged it in our garage so it would be easy for the movers. All the other big items such as our heavy desks, set of drawers, mattresses etc were left upstairs. I had also labeled every single box so the movers knew exactly where to put it in the new house. In 2 hours, the movers had packed all of our stuff. They also wrapped up all of the furniture with clear plastic wrap to protect it from damage. They were SUPER quick and efficient. The movers were Russian and asked if it was OK if they could speak Russian to each other which was totally fine. They did such a good job, were fast and hard working. We have two really heavy standing desks in our office. The guys wrapped them up and moved them with ease from our two storey townhouse. Our new place was 11 miles north and the movers got there and got to work. Our new place is two storey as well but much bigger so the stair case was higher and a lot of house to cover. The movers followed our instructions and put all the boxes in the correct room. I had my baby with me but we helped out when we could with the lighter items. The team was finished up at 12.45pm, it only took 4 hours! I was so happy with their performance and work on the day. I've never had a move go so smooth before. The team was also happy because we didn't have that much stuff (moving from a small 3 bedroom townhouse with only 2 adults) so it was an easier job than they thought but they did really well! If your unsure whether to book Mario Moving, I would HIGHLY recommend them! They made moving less of a pain and I even had a one year old hanging off my arm. I hope not to move again, but if I do, I will book Mario Moving again.”

Had a really, really bad experience and awkward interaction. Two guys came. Took them almost six hours to move one queen bed, a night stand, 2 TVs, a couch, and a bookshelf (I already moved all my small belongings the week prior). My new place was less than 3 miles down the road. I thought maybe 4 hours, perhaps 5 if they are slow but 6 was just unbelievable. Luckily, I withdrew extra cash but with it taking 6 hours, I only had enough for a 15% tip and the man was furious and wouldnt leave. He told me to charge it on my credit card so I could tip 20%. Luckily, my friend was with me and she had extra cash so I gave it to him but was definitely frightened at that point and just wanted him out.”
