I hired J. E. Thomas & Son's to clean out a storage unit for my son and take the items to his home in Jacksonville. My son had hired "the moving company from hell" out of New Jersey who did not deliver his shipment to his home but literally dumped it into a storage unit and then would not tell him where it was until he paid more money. To say my son was stressed is an understatement! From the moment I called J. E. Thomas and spoke with Debbie, I knew that we were in good hands. Debbie was thoroughly professional and sympathetic to our plight. There were a couple reschedules that had to be done through no one's fault, and my son was kept informed at all times. My son reports that he was absolutely delighted with the 4 people who showed up and he was treated with total professionalism. Items were wrapped and carefully handled and beds and other furniture put together and set up in his home. J. E. Thomas made such an impression on him that if he decides to move again, and if J. E. Thomas does out-of-state moves, they will be hired. This is a family owned business that deserves to be patronized for a large or small job.”
