We believe it is our job to take each customer’s situation and tailor our service based on what they need at that time. We have grown because of our willingness to please the customer is not limited to our office hours, or the amount of money the customer has to spend. It is not at all uncommon for us to hold a check for a customer, or start a move at a time that is convenient for the customer, but at a time that will have us working untill midnight; at no extra cost to the customer. List of items broken during moving. Master bedroom lamp. Smashed on the side. These two lamp shades were pack in one of my plastic binds but I guess they were a little big and they close the bind too tight and it god damage. King mattress: this item was wrap only in that transparent wrapping plastic. I told them that mattress was too big and too heavy to be wrapped just with that. The mattress got dirty and ripped in three corners. King mattress cover: got dirty and ripped in three corners. King bed: on different sides of the bed, the wood got damage with very visible dents. ·         Crib: on different sides of the crib, the dark wood got damage with very visible dents. ·         Master bedroom humidifier: since the move, it hasn’t been working properly making lots of noise. ·         TV console: several pieces to hold two inside shelves are missing. We can’t put the selves together to hold dvr or blue ray player. ·         4 lamps: these lamps were packed but several pieces are missing. The shades are loss and can’t be used for safety reasons. We found one lamp was throw inside a bicycle buggy we have without any wrapping. Totally inappropriate. This lamp shade is white, got dirty and have dents. ·         Kitchen table: One leg is broken and another partially broken. ·         Frames and paintings: the movers didn’t bring even ONE box to pack appropriately all our pictures and paintings. They wrapped them in blankets and when they got to North Carolina left all my pictures in piles or against the walls all over the house and several got scratched. ·         The kitchen boxes: the guys that packed the kitchen draws, literally throw all my staff in a huge box piling up important documents and things. They should have packed things in smaller boxes and then put that in the big box for protection. In the middle, the literally throw all the condiments packages that were in one draw and kept putting more things on top. All those condiments (soy sauce, ketchup) broke and ALL MY IMPORTANT PAPERWORK AND THINGS GOT DIRTY AND STAIN. That’s not a good service. ·         One closet box I opened I found they throw my clothes on the of the box. I assume they didn’t have more boxes. ·         Big glass broken. ·         White Moroccan base broken. ·             Very dissatisfied with the service because:                                                                                     ·         Didn’t bring enough pads to pack our delicate. ·         Didn’t bring enough boxes. ·          Didn’t bring even one picture painting box as promised. ·         At the end of the day, the guys run out of space in the second truck and came and told us: we can’t bring the rest of your things, pick the most import ones because we don’t’ have room. What? All my pictures/paintings and mirrors were hanging on the walls. I felt they could care less about my belongings. ·         Since there was no room in second truck we have to call and waited for at least 3 hours until someone told us what was going on and what the next step was. ·         They tried to charge us for a 3rd truck to pack the rest of our things. Totally unprofessional. ·         Around 4 pm I started walking around the house to find my house totally full of trash (tape empty rolls, plastic wrap rolls among other) all over the place. These guys left all the empty packing supplies around my house and didn’t even have the decency of cleaning up. I have to clean up all their trash. ·         Since they didn’t have enough pads (blue blankets) they literally throw a lot of our staff in boxes without any protection. We hired this company, using a voucher from Amazon Local, to move our daughters from an apartment to a condo within 3 miles of eachother.  When our daughters went back to the apartment to bring more items, one of them found her iPad removed from it's cover and the empty cover lying amongst her things. Long story short, the company repeatedly told us it was probably lost, then told her they would talk with the crew and replace it if they couldn't get it back, then offered $100 to replace it, then told us they would give us $1.50.  Which they never did.  I filed a complaint with Amazon Local, who I've used several times over the past year.  They immediately issued me a refund for the voucher, $170.00....which I did not request and was surprised to receive.  Now the moving company is calling me a liar, basically saying I set it up to get money out of them and demanding I pay the full pre-discounted amount of $341.00 within 30 days or they will take me to court.  I'm assuming Amazon contacted them and will not pay them.  I'm also assuming this is an issue that had nothing to do with me.  Wouldn't it be between Amazon and the moving company?  Do not use this moving company.  They related several different stories to us and sent rude and nasty emails and voice mails to us.  They also told me they do not do background checks on the crews. I never would have used them had I known this! Our daughters are all moved into their new home but worry about the guy, from the moving crew, coming back to rob them.

I wish I would have checked reviews of this company. They are being sued over and over and do not have one positive review. I honestly don't know how they are still in business. They showed up with a truck that had 3 other sofas in it (assume from a previous move that the movers wanted to keep). As a result they couldn't fit all of our furniture in it. Did their movers care? Not at all. Did management care? Not at all. Did we pay for a full empty truck still? Sure did. Then the move - awful. They damaged our master bed, sectional sofa, dryer, dropped bikes and were shoving pieces of furniture in the truck with no regards to care. They lost our treadmill cord. We recognized all the damage immediately - they told us to file a claim. Which we did immediately. We should never have paid them. They are dishonest, will lie to you, not respond and not pay what their contract states they will. When you ask to speak to the owner or someone other than JR (John Fries) they say there is no one to speak to. JR acknowledged the damage and told me they would reimburse me and then it never happens. For three weeks I called them and emailed them. JR said he never received the message because he was so busy. Really? Like he is the only that is busy - how about the time I have spent chasing down a corrupt company that lies and cheats? They are infuriating. when I finally spoke to JR on the phone he said "Corporate" would cut a check for the damages. What a joke. Still waiting for that check and that was two months ago. I notified Groupon of the sham of a company they are representing. They refunded my groupon after I shared all the documentation. I encourage everyone to contact the Secretary of State, Attorney General and continue to share the absolute shame of dealing with this company "Here to There" Movers, John Fries, JR, Jeff at Here to There Movers. RUN RUN RUN away from this sham of a company.

The crew from Here to There Movers was scheduled to show up at 9am on Saturday, 5-27-17. They called and said they were overbooked, and sent a crew at 4:45pm. The crew worked with an obvious intention of being as slow as they could, to take longer than the 2 hours it was supposed to take to pack up and load my small apartment, according to the onsite estimate I had received. I moved from Fort Wayne, IN to Elkhart, IN. This is a 1 hour 40 minute drive, which took them 3 hours and 45 minutes to arrive at my new apartment. The crew leader said they stopped to eat, but on the final bill they did not make note of this, and charged me for the time. At the end of the night (almost midnight), they charged me almost $500 over the estimate. They damaged items. The crew leader stole tools of mine. The behavior of the crew was despicable. As stated, they moved intentionally slow. I had a special situation at my old upstairs apartment where the queen size mattress and box spring couldn't fit down the stairs because of a low overhang, and had to be taken out the kitchen balcony and lowered to the ground. The crew joked and laughed as they threw the mattress and box spring off the balcony. Neighbors on both sides witnessed this unprofessional behavior. Somehow, nothing was damaged, but along with the stress of moving, this is not something you want to see your movers doing. From reading all the other reviews, it is obvious that showing up late and moving intentionally slow, for the purpose of charging over the estimate, is the standard strategy of this company. I would never under any circumstances recommend Here to There Movers to anyone.

There customer service is terrible. They were so rude on the phone and actually hung up on me not once but three times. They refused to let me speak with a manager. They had all tons of additional fees that did not match their advertisement on Groupon. I did cancel the move because they were so rude. Their customer service is located in Indiana and you can not call the local business directly.

Absolutely awful experience. I was supposed to be out of my home by 10 pm on June 3, 2018. Booked my move 2 week in advance, got a confirmation time and on the eve of move I received a call they would be there by 8:00 am as requested. On June 3 at 8am I got a call, running late be there at 10:00. Ok, not to bad, I moved small stuff. At 10:00am get a call, still running behind and will be there between 4:00 and 5:30. 6:00 comes and no calls. Finally at 7:00 I'm told they are overbooked and they have no one in which to move me. I remind them I have to be out of my home by 10 pm. Too Bad For ME. My 75 yr. old mother and my 80 yr. old father had to come help me. This is Sunday evening no one available. One Horrible experience. Would I recommend. NOT ON MY LIFE. I have made repeated calls for a manager J.R. F***** has yet to return a call or acknowledge my claim for damages

I wish I could give zero stars. Do not be lured in by the Groupon- it is a scam. I won't go into all of the details of my nightmare experience with this company. I will say I have NEVER written a bad review online so that should be indicative of how strongly I feel about this. My fiance and I were moving from a 1 bedroom apartment to a townhouse down the street. They arrived at 9 am. They spent an hour going over the contract and having to call corporate because they were unable to articulate how the insurance works. 3 hours into the move, the movers had not loaded one item on the truck. They were still wrapping things! The leasing agent from our apartment called to ask us what the deal was because they had another move scheduled at 2 PM. At one point my fiance ran down to the car- when he got back up both movers were on our balcony just chilling and admiring the view- while on the clock! They also asked us about how much we paid for certain household items etc. Needless to say they were not able to finish the move by 2 PM. We called the manager and he said he would come finish the move the next day. Even with the groupon we paid 600 for day 1 of move that was not even close to being done. Fast forward to Day 2. The pace was quicker, though at one point we found the manager sound asleep in the cab of the truck. They ended up charging us another $450. So the nutshell version is we paid over $1000 for a 1 bedroom apartment move that took 8 hours. On the way out one of the movers said "sorry they ripped you off, they do that to everyone". enough said

HERE to THERE mover's. BE SURE YOU READ THE ENTIRE CONTRACT. As with most lengthy agreements the person you are dealing with will summarize the wording. I was lead to believe all I was waving was due to lost or misplaced items. Considering my items were the only load on the truck who needs it. ""WRONG"" THIS also included exempting them from all damage. Guess WHAT THERE WAS DAMAGE!!!! ALTHOUGH THEY CHARGE $4.00 PER ROLL OF TAPE TO HOLD THE MOVING BLANKETS ON YOUR FURNITURE, THEY CHOSE TO NOT TO WRAP A LARGE HEAVY REAL WOOD HEAD BOARD WHICH WAS DAMAGED DURING THE MOVE. GUESS WHAT, WHEN I WANTED TO FILE A CLAIM I WAS TOLD BECAUSE I WANTED TO MOVE AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE AND WAVED THE ADDED COVERAGE, """THAT I WAS SAYING MY FURNITURE HAD NO VALUE!!! SO WOULD I EVER USE HERE TO THERE MOVERS AGAIN, YES WHEN **** FREEZES OVER.

Terrible experience. They estimated how many men and how big of a truck they'd need after walking through our home a few weeks before the move. It ended up being twice as expensive and took twice as long and they still couldn't fit all of our stuff on the truck. They ran out of furniture pads and plastic wrap, again even though they walked through our home and reviewed it first. The crew was hardworking but they were not very careful with our possessions and broke a few things. The worst part was management and pricing. They played VERY fast and loose with prices and told us we were being charged for a 3-man crew (and it was listed as a 3-man crew on our bill) but the rate was actually the 4-man rate from their website. They also called us a few days after the move and tried to shake us down for more money. Do yourself a favor and use a different moving company!
