★★★★★
We used First Due back in 2014 and loved them. Fast and efficient. So when we bought a house, we got quotes and used them again and we were NOT disappointed! Costs are economically sound and the guys are so sweet and kind. I recommend them to anyone looking for movers!
- Jennifer K.

★★★★★
We have used First Due Movers now twice, and the fortune of Tony leading the effort both times. This organization is amazing and Tony's leadership is top notch. When we move in the future, they will be the first call we make!

Left me with thousands of dollars of damage, would not restore my home to its original state despite promising to "make it right," and accused me! First Due helped me with a large move into a new construction home and came highly recommended. The crew was hardworking and friendly. As they finished, I pointed out numerous grooves, indentations, and marks on all of the walls in my stairwells (which were not there previously - the home was in pristine condition as it was new). They said I should call my homeowners insurance. I also noticed several items that were broken, including a precious family item that has been in the family for generations and moved many times (even globally) without incident. I called First Due's office to follow up and see if I should go through my insurance and they said absolutely not and that they couldn't believe their team told me that - they said we will take care of it and make it right. They sent someone from their office to fix the damage (not a professional painter). As I showed him my home, he was very disappointed by the amount of damage and said he would talk to the crew because they should have been more careful and that this was unacceptable. I showed him where the paint containers were that the builder left behind and said I didn't know which one was for the walls. He looked carefully and chose the paint that he said matched the walls and began touch ups. I never instructed him to use this particular paint because again, I did not know which one to use. A few days later I asked him if it was still drying as the touch ups were darker than the rest of the walls. He later realized he accidentally used satin paint rather than flat paint, which is why it was darker and didn't match. The container he chose was labeled "satin" but he missed it when he chose the paint. He apologized and promised to make it right. He came back and used the flat paint, and told me the satin paint would act like a great primer. A few weeks later, I reached out as the paint still did not match the walls. Now all of my stairwells looked even worse than before due to huge areas of mismatched paint, on 11 different walls. Then Kristie at the office reached out to me and told me not to contact him again. She told me that it was my fault as I provided the wrong paint to him (untrue). She said he went above and beyond and fixed the issue (again, untrue). In fact, they made it worse. I brought this up and she said it would've been fixed if I didn't hand him the wrong paint and essentially, everything was my fault. She was extremely rude and I could not believe the accusatory emails I was reading. Who treats a paying customer this way, especially after causing that much damage to their new home? Again, I told her I never handed him the specific can of paint and said "use this one here" She said that I did. I sent photos to show how bad it looked. It did not matter. She also said I asked him to repair other areas of the house - another blatant lie. Kristie said they were not responsible and everything that was left was my fault due to MY mistake. The only mistake I made was hiring them! They never sent out a professional painter which should have been the first step. Their employee chose the paint labeled "satin," not flat - yet somehow that is my fault? Not only that, but due to the unprofessional paint job (nothing was wrapped) I now have paint splatter on my railings and floor, which were not there previously. My 5 flights of stairs look horrendous and are a massive eyesore due to all of the mismatched paint. Multiple people have seen the walls throughout my house and said "wow, what happened?" The damage is absolutely devastating and extremely noticeable. It really ruined the excitement of moving into a new home. I had a professional painter come out and was quoted just over $2k to fix the damage that First Due caused. A customer should not be left with $2k in damages due to a company's errors (this does not even include the broken items either). I was extremely insulted by how Kristie spoke to me, accusing me repeatedly and not following through with First Due's promise. TLDR: First Due caused significant damage to my home, promised to make it right, made it look even worse, accused me instead of taking responsibility for something that was their fault, lied, and said they fixed the problem when they did not. They left me with thousands of dollars worth of damage (to the walls, railings, and floors), broke multiple items during the move, and would not restore my home to its original state after repeatedly promising to make it right. I will never, ever recommend them to anyone and deeply regret hiring them. I see the damage all over my home every single day and it's upsetting. Absolutely horrible experience and the most appalling customer service ever.

First Due moved us from Seattle, WA to Vancouver, WA and the entire process was FLAWLESS! I have moved several times (with the last couple being long distance company-sponsored moves) and this is easily the best long distance move I've had!! Nothing was broken, everything was delivered on time, everyone I interacted with was polite and professional. Seriously - if you're moving, look no further than First Due!
- Madison A.

★★★★★
Overall we are very satisfied. The team showed up exactly on time. The were very professional and efficient. They packed everything that was not packed, loaded and unloaded it and it took less time than was estimated in the budget. We would totally recommend this company to our friends.
- Anastasia V.

★★★★★
On time, communicate well and no surprises. What ever they took apart at the home we moved from was put back together to my satisfaction. Both Dale and Albert asked where to place everything. I didn't have to lift anything.
- Jamie W.

★★★★★
I can't recommend these movers enough. The walk-thru process and quote were friendly, easy to understand and a good rate. Day of the 2 guys showed up on time and worked hard. They got the job done safely and under the quoted time. My belongings were secured well and taken care of and the setup process was efficient. The guys put my furniture exactly where I asked them to and made sure I was happy with things throughout the process. Hiring First Due was the best decision I could have made. It made my moving day so much faster and less stressful than trying to do it all myself. Thank you!!!

These guys took all the stress out of moving for me. They were on time and professional the whole way through. I highly recommend using them!

★★★★★
When we decided to move after being in our home for 24 years, my wife called First Due and they promptly scheduled a walk through to provide our quote estimate. Our move was to an out of state location and we feel First Due's quote was very reasonable for our 2800 sq. ft. home. Having no recent experience, we had a number of questions about how the process would work, what could we expect on move day, etc. We called multiple times with our questions and every time we were greeted with polite and patient experts that helped us understand and relax more about the process. The crew that moved us did an amazing job of getting some tough furniture moved and through some tight spaces. Super pleased with the quality of help, the character of the individuals that made our move to our new home possible. Thank you very much First Due Movers!
- David T.

★★★★★
Gave me a quote via Zoom. The movers were there on time, took care of my possessions, and were great overall. I would definitely use them again.

★★★★★
times we won't use any other company. They are the most professional, friendly and helpful movers we have ever used.

★★★★★
First Due Movers were awesome! They helped me with 2 moves, and I had the same team both times! I can't speak highly enough about how easy the process was - totally seamless. They were professional, super friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to get oversized items moved too! They even helped move furniture out to help stage my house for sale. I've really never had such a friendly, enthusiastic team, and really appreciated their work!
- Shannon Colohan

★★★★★
Highly recommend! They helped us move a few of our larger items, including a table that weighs between 250-300lbs. They were extremely friendly and professional and showed up right on time. Move was quick and efficient. And, because of COVID they had masks on for the duration of the move.
- Nicole Matzinger

★★★★★
Van and Cody K packed us up and Van, Cody K and Andrew moved us. Professional, courteous and speedy. Thank you! I highly recommend First Due Movers for you next move.

★★★★★
Our daughter utilized their services in late 2018 and had a great experience with the team. Thus, we hired their services today and they were GREAT! They cared and were super-helpful! Brennon Wright & Matt Swan represent the local community in a very positive manner and we cannot thank them enough! Thank you First Due Movers!
- Leslie-Rick B.

★★★★★
After moving 3 times in 4 years, First Due Movers is by far the best moving experience we've had. All team members were friendly, professional, and exceeded our expectations. I appreciated the care they took with our items and navigating them around both homes. We didn't have to worry about new scratches on our furniture or dents in the wall. We were also impressed with the care they took to keep our new home clean by placing mats down. Highly recommend if you'd like to take some stress out of the moving process!
- Rachel D.

★★★★★
This is our 3rd time using first due movers and we will continue using them. All of the movers are extremely professional, fast, and are very hard workers. Corderro and Calvin have been wonderful, so helpful and great at what they do! They are honest, reliable, and well organized. I am so relieved to know that my belongings are getting taken care of and will be delivered to my new place safely. Let's face it here, being a mover cannot be easy, and these guys rock it!
- Erika G.

★★★★★
We are in the process of moving from a larger house to a smaller one. I have used First Due Movers for different phases of the move- three times so far- and each experience has been great. This week we had a crew of 3- Chris E., Steve, and Denis G.. The crew was easy to work with, and very careful with our furniture- including the time they took to wrap each piece for the trip. I have found First Due to be reasonably priced and flexible. I am very happy with their service.
- Ann B.

★★★★★
Wonderful service from Wyatt B, Cody K and Chris E. They moved our furniture back to our newly refinished hardwood floors with no scratches or scrapes on the floor or furniture. Everything was put back in place including a piano. They even rehung a heavy mirror. I would highly recommend this company.

★★★★★
Last month, First Due Movers moved my elderly parents from their home of 13 years in Seattle to an apartment on Mercer Island and we could not have been happier with their work. Dennis and his team were amazing--professional, personable, responsible and responsive, and straight up fun to spend a day with! They moved swiftly but carefully and everything they moved, big and small, arrived in a perfect condition. They were extremely polite and respectful of my parents (and me) and their senses of humor made a stressful day so much easier and more enjoyable. They gave a thorough & accurate quote ahead of time, and their prices were extremely reasonable, particularly given the high level of service they gave. We've all been sharing their name and our experience with everyone we know & hope we have reason to use them again in the future!

★☆☆☆☆
They dropped my double oven and shattered the glass is one of the doors and also damaged my 25k sectional that was specially ordered from Roche Bobois, from France. They agreed to pay the about 20% of the repair cost, then, backed out of it by refusing to answer my emails (this was their accounting person); which, by the way, they agreed to pay for only because I had paid them an extra $100 to cover and protect the sectional and they did not cover it and never gave me my $100 back. Also, after they left 2 of my outdoor furniture chairs were missing. Nothing was supposed to leave the house as I was merely moving furniture to the garage to redo the flooring throughout the house. This company is a NIGHTMARE!!

★★★★★
We contacted First Due Movers two weeks ago to get an estimate for our move. Their response was very prompt, and Cody K. came out soon after to our home to give us an estimate for our move. He was very professional and quick with estimating how big of a truck we would need and helping us decide on our insurance options. The day of the move, Cody, Andrew and Van arrived with an appropriately sized truck, a good sense of humor, and an eagerness to get the job done quickly and efficiently. And they were efficient. They wrapped our furniture with immense care and did so with great speed. When it came to unloading, they placed all boxes and furniture in the appropriate rooms and made sure we were happy before they departed. Overall, this was the smoothest and easiest moving experience we've ever had. I could not recommend First Due Movers enough!

★★★★★
First Due Movers was recommended to me by a business associate a few months ago. They had helped her and her family move to the Snohomish area and she had wonderful things to say. These guys lived up to the hype, for sure. They were very easy to work with and very professional. Carol was very prompt, kind, and thorough in her communications, and Calvin was fair and professional in his pricing quote. He came over to our apartment, made a list of notes about what to take, and had a quote back to us that evening. The two guys that came very great with letting us know if they were on-time, running late, etc., and were super friendly when they arrived. My dog loved them both! They got the job done quickly - wrapping and padding everything that was being moved. The mattress got a cover to protect it, and the furniture got pads to protect the hardwoods. They do bigger jobs as well as smaller moving jobs. I think the best thing about this company is that they are all current or former armed service members or current/retired firemen - so they are super observant, respectful, and attentive. Would definitely hire them again.
- Denise S.

★★★★★
The job was completed under estimate and they protected and wrapped all pieces that truly needed it and not waste time with items I was not concerned about. They were able to move an oversized couch up and over lowering it down the only way possible from the upper level. All the personal I worked with were outstanding. Thank again for the effort and quality you brought to the job.

★★★★★
If anyone understands how important it is to safeguard even the tiniest treasure, these guys do! As firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders to crisis situations, I believe the moving crews at First Due are extra prepared, thoughtful, and careful because they know first-hand what people experience when they suffer loss. Our crew was amazing. They protected and safely moved everything, including some very sentimental pieces. They were on time, resourceful, efficient, and worked hard! They were good natured and a fun to be around. Throughout the move, I experienced deep gratitude every time I thought about the sacrifices that these people make as firefighters and first responders. it was meaningful for me to hire people who are always putting their lives on the line to save lives, property, and natural resources. Here's my shout out to Van, Dylan, Chris, and Matt: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! YOU ROCK! I can't give a higher recommendation.
- Ann S.

★★★★★
First Due is great, not perfect, but great! Luke did my estimate and we came in $400 lower than he projected. Carol in the office was very helpful and informative whenever I called. The guy who delivered the red boxes was also very warm and professional. On moving day, Drew and Kyle were great! Polite, careful with belongings, calm and fast. Also showed great success in keeping me calm and focused. Half of my stuff went into a POD, and then half was moved to a temporary home. I was amazed at the volume they packed into the POD container. One downside is that they ran short on moving skins. Also, short one wardrobe box. And they did not bring the telescoping picture boxes that I had requested. However, they improvised well and got the job done. I highly recommend them, and will use them for my next move into a permanent home.

★★★★★
Our recent move to Issaquah went well... until we tried to move our beloved couch into the apartment. The hallways leading to our front door was a few inches too narrow, the ceiling a few inches too low, for us to get the couch into its new home. After trying for almost an hour, and after leaving the couch in temporary, apartment hallway residence overnight, we called First Due to see about getting some movers for a quick job. And woah, they were awesome. We called at around 8:30 AM, and thanks to a cancellation elsewhere we had Mitch and his partner Chance knocking on our door by 10:30. They began to maneuver the couch through the hallway, then determined it wouldn't fit. It was time to get creative. Turns out our porch's sliding glass door is just slightly wider than the hallway. After eyeing the space, the guys figured they could hoist the couch up and into our porch, then through the glass door. "Kinda crazy, but I think it'll work," Mitch said. We cleared some space, and they got to it. Five minutes later, our couch was inside. They'd brought the sofa to the front of the building, lifted it, caught it, and spun it around, then carried it inside. Since it went off so easily, they didn't even charge us the predicted "this is weirder and slightly more dangerous than expected" fee. We paid, thanked them, and immediately plopped on the couch and sighed in relief.

I used First Due Movers recently to relocate from Redmond to Duvall. They sent someone out ahead of time to do a free-of-charge appraisal for the packing and moving services. We elected to do the majority of our own packing then have them come in and pack the fragile stuff for us. The day before our move they sent out 3 guys (2 regulars and one 'in-training' - they only charged us for 2) to pack the rest of our stuff and make sure everything we'd already packed was good to go. Took them only an hour so we came in way under estimate. The day of the move they sent 2 guys. They did an awesome job and powered through going up and down the three flights of steps outside my apartment. They took about a 30-45 min lunch break after packing the truck, then drove out to my new place and started unloading. It was the simplest thing ever for my wife and I because we'd just hang out and wait for them to walk by with a box so we could tell them where to put it. Several times I felt a bit useless just sitting there while they worked hard but hey, that's why I'm paying them, right? In the end they came in a bit under appraisal for the move itself, so I'm happy with that. Everyone from this company I interacted with was super nice and fun to talk with. They had a really great attitude toward everything and kept a stressful moving day light with jokes and banter. I can't recommend these folks enough. Next time we move (which I hope is a long time from now) I'll absolutely be giving them a call again. They're aces.

★★★★★
First Due Movers did a labor only job for us during our remodel. For both trips out to our home to move the furniture out and back in, they were on time, efficient, and careful with our furniture and belongings. Both crews were personable and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Thank you First Due Movers!
- Cara M.

★★★★★
We were wowed by the efficiency and quickness with which the 2 young men packed and moved our furnishings to storage. They were friendly and courteous, which is always an added bonus. We plan to use First Due Movers again when we move our things from storage. This kind of customer service is a rarity nowadays. Awesome business...especially since they also do charity work as well. Two thumbs...way up!!!

We just used First Due to remove old furniture to make room for our new pieces. The movers called ahead. They were very personable. Clean and professional. Took great care not to damage anything on the way out. 20 minutes start to finish. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!!

Professional, on time, and tackled a beast of a job moving my kitchen island from Second Use to West Seattle. These guys are pros and would use them again without a doubt.

★★★★★
Based on a referral from a friend, we went with First Due Movers. They were quick to accommodate a quote in-person and walked us through the process. Their process is dialed-in! Estimate was fair and detailed. I felt that there would be no surprises when they came. They were totally good with asking us to estimate everything we *may* want to move even if we ended up moving it. Carol called 3 days before move day to confirm everything. We let them know we had moved quite a bit of household boxes, etc (we were motivated) and maybe not needing all the resources. On the day of the move, SUPER IMPRESSED. On time, but all the crew individually introduced themselves with a smile and a handshake. All clean-cut, and clean in general. Walked through the house and went to quick work. We ended up not needing the second truck, but they just finished earlier and didn't charge us for much less time. It was great. We moved 2 pianos also! We LOL'd as some of the things they wrapped they probably used more cost in packing supplies than the item was worth, but they treated each piece with utmost care. Unload at the new place was efficient and installed everything they took apart. Awesome. Will use/recommend them again!

★★★★★
From the moment I emailed and received a response from Carol, this company was my choice for my move. Carol set up an appointment with Cody, he was on time, friendly and thorough. I received a quote within a few hours. I made a last minute change to add a stop at a storage unit and Cody was completely accommodating. Spencer and Jake showed up on time, if not a bit early and got right to work. They were great!! Friendly, hard working and very calming in a time of stress. They took the time to wrap all the furniture then unwrap it as well as place it on the destination end. This was a dream move and I appreciate First Due from start to finish.

★★★★★
I am the fairly recent survivor of several inter-state moves. All of them were barely tolerable from a movers perspective, leading me to believe that the moving industry was a lost cause...enter First Due Movers from stage left. They literally redefined the industry in one whirlwind day. This time my move was local, and they were so efficient, kind, and industrious that they saved me money from the original estimate because it took less time than they expected. They worked hard, communicated well with me and with each other, showed each other respect and kindness, wore masks, and never complained once. They fixed the squeak in my bed frame and the sag in my couch while they were at it. These guys are literally the best. I quoted multiple companies before I chose them, and their original estimate (before they saved me a bunch of money just by working hard) was a little higher than the other ones, but even IF I had had to pay the original price, they were worth every penny. Not to mention, not a single item, not down to the last bolt or screw or lampshade, lost or forgotten.

★★★★★
First class movers. We had Mitch and Jordan for the day. My husband and I are slightly particular about things: for example, we expect communication before arrival so no surprises, and we don't things on casters to be rolled out onto pavement. The fellas did exactly that: called us right before they left the warehouse (0800 on-the-dot) and carried everything to the truck, and no wheeling to scratch up our casters. We had some pretty heavy items, awkward items but they were so careful and there wasn't a scratch on anything. They were very thoughtful, professional, didn't complain and would ask us where we wanted things to be place and what direction we wanted things facing. Had we known we were gonna get guys as great as Mitch and Jordan, we would have booked them for two straight days. They are like the nice, respectful next-door neighbor's kid everyone wants. I hope I never move again, but these two gentleman made that particular moving day a breeze. Thank you.
- Yoo H.

★★★★☆
So mixed review here. The packers get a 3 maybe a 2, the movers get a 5. The packers arrived with 4 guys, all nice and chatty, but when they dismantled a library, they forgot to segregate the shelves marked for destination 1 vs destination 2. 50 boxes all marked just "books". Had to open sort and relabel every single box. They packed a fragile turntable under a heavy amplifier in the same box, with one piece of packing paper between them. One unlabeled box was full of glass and crystal vases, with zero packing material between them. Some packers did their job right, some of the crew were idiots. By contrast, the separate crew that came and moved stuff were careful, efficient, and got the job. Done under budget and in less time than planned. These two team should talk to each other
