We had a large bedroom set that we gave to a friend and he at our recommendation used Exela. We were impressed with how professional they were. This was our first time using movers to move across town and let me tell you, never doing it myself again!! Quote/deposit: Submitted a quote online but it took a while for them to respond so then I called the main line and spoke with Alex (owner). Very simply, he quoted me based on the number of rooms what the hourly rate was ($189/hour for 2 people, min. of 3 hours, including travel time for crew). Took a deposit over the phone and we were set. Prepping for the move: I called to confirm we were still on for the set day/time and confirm an address change (no fee or issue there either). Day of: The movers called when they were 10 minutes out. We had both a driveway(very steep) and some street parking available for them which they appreciated. After being quoted and slotted for 2 movers with a truck, we got 3 movers and a truck. The head crew man walked us through the pricing again(no extra charge for the extra person!), confirming address and payment method(discount for cash!). Then we walked through the house to identify what goes and what stays (we were 2 people moving out of a 3 person house - very important). Truck loading/unloading: These guys were amazing at wrapping everything up, organizing the truck. They packed up two bedrooms and a living room in a little over an hour. Then had us do a walkthrough again with them to make sure we didn’t miss anything. Traveling from one apt to the next, we followed them and they were very slow going (big full truck and bumpy/tiny Boston roads) which we appreciated. We also had a driveway and curbside parking available at the new place. Unloading was so easy, We did a walkthrough if the new place then each guy would come in and ask where each box went (we didn’t think to mark the boxes with names/rooms, just contents). They assembled furniture and asked how we wanted them placed which was so nice! Final bill: At the end, when everything was off the truck, we did a final walkthrough to make sure we had everything and the furniture was in the right spot. After signing off on that, the head crew man walked me through the bill again. Add one we’re materials used to pack (plastic wrap, tape : $28) and final time including estimated travel time for them to get back to the office (3. 25 hours) And 5% discount for paying cash! $620 total + $160 tip. After all was said and done, we were so happy! The guys were so nice and polite, moved so quickly but also took care with our stuff. They really made this move amazing! Thank you!!”

I received a text alert when the team left the facility to head to my apartment- well within the hour window they provided. Andrei and his team were EXCELLENT. In a little more than an hour, they had the entire apartment packed into their truck. Extra care was provided on fragile boxes and covers were provided for the furniture.
