“ DO NOT USE. Missing Canada Goose Jacket, 1 pound bag of sugar packed unopened spilling all over my apt, bleach and bathroom cleaning supplies packed with clothes and kitchen items. There are plenty of other movers in NYC, there is 0 RISK IN USING ANOTHER MOVING SERVICE. Do not use them. Use another service. Don't run the risk of losing your items. I’ve moved 6 times using various moving services (incl cross country) in 7 years and never had an item go missing until Dyno Moving. This was also the shortest distance move I’ve done (Manhattan to Brooklyn). I unpacked and noticed my most expensive possession (Langford Parka Canada Goose Jacket) was missing. I triple checked and all my other jackets were there except this one. What I found instead was another jacket that didn’t belong to me. I’m not wealthy, this jacket was my prized possession that I saved up for when I first moved to NYC. I contacted Dyno and immediately they were defensive. Begrudgingly, they sent me a link to file a claim which I did. They then offered to return my $300 tip and offered an additional $300 which I declined. I’m not sure if it was theft, but overall the lowest quality moving service I’ve used and riddled with mistakes: clothes that were swapped, unopened food items, and toxic chemicals unsafely packed. Strongly recommend using another moving service. They are literally right there in Google or Yelp, use anyone but Dyno.”

“ These guys were the best movers I've had ever and I've been moving around NY for 14 years. Super fast, STRONG and friendly. I just moved a little over a year ago and had the worst experience with another mover (who had good reviews), that ended taking up 5+ hours and my friend and I had to help a ton to try and speed it up. So I was prepared for another nightmare, since I had a similar amount of stuff. Somehow it ended up taking less than 2 hours, costing less than half of my last move. Clearly these guy are pros at what they do. I hope this company sticks around because I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! Oh and it's a straightforward hourly rate - rather than having to itemize all of your boxes, items, etc which is the last thing I want to worry about when I'm hustling to pack things up at the 11th hour.”

“ I moved on March 5, 2019. I moved further west in Brooklyn, approximately 5.5 miles west. The move was an all day event and quite a show. There was a team of 3 who were very professional and quite comical. There was slight tardiness due to traffic according to what I was told. I didn't expect the move to take all day but I have lived at my old residence all my life. I had furniture that had to be disassembled and reassembled and several boxes. These gentlemen were respectful, and treated my belongings as if there were there own. I paid a pretty penny but the investment was worth it. A friend, a neighbor, or the neighborhood Joe with the broken down van could not have moved me in one day and reassemble my furniture. I would still have no bed to sleep on because I'd be waiting for it to be reassembled- no lie. These men were innovative on getting these boxes in my abode and did make the best use of time. They were very professional, respectful, and as expedient as possible. The only sage advice I'd offer the company is to ensure there are enough supplies to wrap up everything. Luckily I did have plenty of boxes and other items to protect my some of my furniture when the blankets were low. Also listen to the customer on what needs to be moved as there are some heavier items that were left behind that I have to now collect and transport on my own. Overall, I had no major issues that would take away the onerous labor exuded from these gentleman. Additionally, although the move did cost me more than expected, the tip given was worth it as well because they did do fabulous job. Note: If one uses a credit card there is NYS tax added to that charge so the taxes do add up. I paid a portion in cash and a portion on a card. This was not really explained before booking the appointment and I think forms of payment should be pointed out to the potential customer before confirming the appointment. I think I saw a couple reviews mentioning similar comments regarding forms of payment. This job is not easy and I cautioned them to mind their backs. Decompressing after moving such heavy items is necessary- deep tissue massages, steam room, etc. A working back belt should be used if they don't want to end up being 90 at 30. The youngest gentleman, "Olzhas" (sp?), does indeed wear a back belt. At least he is smart... I have much respect for moving companies. The reputable ones, such as ones this company, do work arduously. I would refer this company and personally hire it in the future.”

“ I've done two moves with Dyno (first one from Manhattan to BK 2019; second one from BK to a BK storage unit 2020) and have to say they are a refreshing change from the scammy nature of NYC movers. The first time I paid them $200 and the second time $250 (both times for one bedroom + some kitchen stuff). They always come in WAY cheaper than any other mover and they are FAST. Seriously, these guys are machines. So efficient and never complain. They're nice and polite and really work with you. They let you take a look in the truck when they're done to make sure they didn't leave anything (that's a big mover scam - some movers will keep some of your stuff and then charge you the price of another full move to bring it back). I could never imagine these guys scamming anyone, they just want to get in, get out, and get to the next job. But if you tell them stuff is fragile, they'll be careful and they don't throw stuff around. I recommend them to EVERYONE and always over-tip them. I'm sorry to hear others have had bad experiences but maybe they were assigned teams with bad leaders that hopefully don't work there anymore? If you request a quote via Yelp they get back to you within 24 hours. Can't recommend enough!!”

Three guys showed up 15 minutes prior to the estimated start time and got straight to work. “ So I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews but to be honest I had a great experience. I had a young crew of 3 guys. Olla was the lead and very professional and looked to save me time and money by figuring out a unique way to break down the bed (which is why I hired them in the first place). Estimated 250. was 300 plus the insurance cert.. plus tip (and I tip well) These guys hustled and in under 3 hours got me in and bed setup. Best money I have spent in a long time. Be prepared and have your stuff boxed up and it will be smooth. Even then there is always that last little bit of crap that you either forgot about or doesn't fit anywhere. No worries they bring a coffin sized box and it is all handled. The challenge in NYC is the parking. So the night before I managed to block a spot near the source, but the destination was tricky. Had a person kind of watch the truck as the only real negative would be you are responsible for a ticket. So plan accordingly and you will be fine. I would highly recommend this crew and will definitely use them again. Thanks Fellas. Nice work”

“ My SO and I were moving from Greenpoint to Williamsburg and looked at 6-7 other companies for quotes. I moved with Dyno back in 2016 and remembered they did an awesome job, so I reached back out. Dyno charged hourly but ended up as the least expensive option of all, because the guys were fast, efficient and moved quickly (thank you to Vladimir and his two guys!!) They packed up all our delicates without a problem - including my SO's enormous 65" flat screen TV - and were super honest with us about boxes that were too heavy or flimsy and likely to rip (ie, that we should shift weight into other boxes).
