Mpaly (Aly) and his cousin were friendly and professional. They were punctual, super fast yet careful and packed the truck to the max like nobody's business. They never stopped to rest and only took a restroom break. They supplied lots of blankets and plastic wrap to secure and protect all our furniture. These guys had the best price out of everyone I contacted. There is a base fee and then an hourly fee with a minimum of 3hrs. The fee structure was very straight forward. There were no hidden fees or last minute additions (what they quoted was what they charged). I would 100% recommend these guys and would use them again.”

I found Diarra Moving Services here on Yelp. They were the quickest to respond and answered all of my questions quickly and efficiently so I decided to pick them to help me move. They confirmed the day ahead of time and arrived exactly on time when they said they would. It look them less than one hour for two guys to load up my small apartment and off we went to the new place. Once there, despite moving up to the third floor with a narrow stairwell that they had to deal with, they still had all of my stuff moved in within an hour. They did tell me up front that they would charge for a three hour minimum and that's totally fine with me. I'd much rather they be done early (a little over two hours total, with travel) than take much longer than expected. As far as my stuff: they padded and wrapped my sensitive electronics, continued to ask good questions, didn't slow down at all and, entirely because of them, this move went amazingly well. You might want to stay away from this unprofessional company. Here is my conversation with them copy-pasted. Me: I bought that machine for $200 and it is a 30 minute task. Let me know if you can do it for $100. They: 150for two men [[A week later.]] Me: Hello Mplay, does your quote still mean I will be charged only if the task is completed? They: I am sorry, $200 is my last price Me: Wait, you said $150 last time? On March 28th. Are you not able to honor that quote anymore? They: [[No response]] Here are the problems - 1. Simply because I got back to them after a week, they decided to price gouge and raise the price by $50. They probably thought I couldn't find anyone else because of the Corona virus situation and tried to take advantage. 2. The job is a 10 minute task to move a washer/dryer into a closet on the same floor. Someone else on Yelp did it in 10 minutes literally and charged me $100. So, these guys started off with an unreasonable quote and then bumped it up by another $50 when they thought I don't have other options. 3. Finally, it is fine if they decided to price gouge but they didn't have the courtesy to respond to my last message asking if they can honor their original quote. They just ghosted. Sure, they might be good at the actual move job itself but ask yourself if you would want to do business with someone as unprofessional as these guys.”

We moved from an upstairs apartment (2 bedrooms) into a house that also has a set of stairs. The night before moving, some of my friend helpers flaked. I was in an utter panic at 7pm on a Saturday looking for movers for the following day. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was friendly, straight forward, and professional. The movers showed up the next day at 9am, well prepared and on time. My packing was kind of half hazard and the guys were able to plastic wrap and make everything cohesive. They brought dollies, packing materials, and furniture blankets.
