NO SHOW. My moving was planned to start at 9am, they call me to postpone to noon, so at noon time I call them and they told me they are delayed and are going to show up at 4pm. At 4pm I call again and them they told me they are going to show at 6pm. I was 8pm when they decided to show up and I decide to cancel their service. I can't believe Jose and his company got so many 5 star reviews. We contacted him on June 21 for a move from Mass to out of state on July 6. He was prompt in calling me back (my wife had spoken to him earlier in the day but I had a couple of more questions for him). We discussed the details over the phone and we agreed on a date of Saturday July 6 at tentatively 9 am. It would be an all day move. I asked if he wanted a deposit, he said no and said he would call me the night before the move to reconfirm. I was a little uneasy with nothing set in stone so I immediately texted him the details reconfirming what we had just talked about and he responded that we were all set. Since I was selling my house and needed to be out, I sent a text to reconfirm again on Monday July 1. He again reconfirmed and said he would call me later that night, which never happened but he had confirmed via text again. The day before the move, my wife called him, he said we were all set for 9am the next day and that he would call us again that same evening when he got back to his office. At 10:15 THE NIGHT BEFORE THE MOVE HE CALLED AND SAID HE HAD NO PAPERWORK ON OUR MOVE AND HE HAD 3 OTHER JOBS SCHEDULED THAT DAY BUT THAT HE COULD PROBABLY GET TO US BY 7PM IF HE FINISHED THE OTHER 3 JOBS. HE WANTED TO START THE 10 HOUR MOVE THAT NIGHT IF AND WHEN HE FINISHED 3 OTHER MOVING JOBS DURING THE DAY. He never apologized. He said, "Well, we never did paperwork and you never really finalized anything in our conversations so I didn't write it up." I couldn't believe it. He then texted my wife at 10:45pm and said one of the other 3 jobs cancelled so he could probably get to us earlier. He just made excuses instead of owning up to what an unprofessional job he did. Moving is stressful enough....no one needs to be screwed over like this. He is going to claim I never confirmed with him. I'm attaching screenshots of the text messages showing him confirming everything.....twice.(I can't add photos to a Google review, please see them in my Yelp review) Luckily I found a company last minute on Saturday morning that could do the whole thing Sunday for us. Gave a deposit, email confirmations immediately, etc. They were incredible. Save yourself a disaster and use someone besides Brothers.”

This is our 2nd time using Brothers Movers in 2 years. The first was on Christmas Eve moving in to our apartment during a rain and sleet storm. Our other movers bailed on us and we were left scrambling to find someone to help. I found them on Craigslist and was relieved when Jose picked up! He said he could make it over in less than an hour and he and 2 guys not only picked up the slack and saved the day but they did a phenomenal job moving everything with care! Jose seemed very pleasant, however he was not professional AT ALL... Not once but twice he stopped to get gas and something to drink ON MY DIME!!! ... As a professional mover you're supposed to come with hydrating items and the truck should have already been filled with gas.. Oh and on top of that they either lost or stole one of my air conditioners...Lastly on one of his beverage runs he left 2 inexperienced workers who decided to yell at my kids because they weren't "Helping" Helloooooo that's what YOU'RE getting PAID for..
