Terrible experience. Over an hour and a half late. Called numerous times and they didnt answer the phone. Scheduled for 8am showed up at 9:37am. Quoted me an hourly rate of $125/hr over the phone. Should have been about $1000-1300. We were charged over $1700 plus tip in the end for extras that should have been explained at the time of the quote.”

The worst!!! They were supposed to come at 9:00 ! They called and changed it to 1:00. They knew we had a 10x 30 storage unit to empty, they brought a truck that didn’t fit everything. And after working only 21/2 hours they refused to go back and get the rest! They chipped a bedroom set! And left a couch out on the lawn! They demanded a 5 hour Minimum , and said they couldn’t finish because they were TIRED!!! I have been Calling there for two days and they do not return the phone call. Now we have to first find someone else to finish emptying out the storage unit so it seems like a good deal it turned out to be a nightmare and cost us double !!!! $$$$$ I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!”

It is rare when a company provides EVERYTHING above and beyond what you even ask for. Unbelievable SAME DAY Move as when I called that morning. Finished job in less time than estimated and Brian & crew were self-motivated to keep everything in or under budget and wrap everything perfectly. They didn't complain when they had to maneuver furniture through a small walkway and they were exceptionally pleasant to deal with. To top it off, they even fixed something on my furniture that never worked properly. They kept in constant contact for timing of arrival. They truly make you feel like you are valued as a customer! Outstanding service and pricing ALL the way around from start to finish. I will definitely be calling Barnegat Movers for the major move next year!”

NOT A Legitimate moving company!! Called and clarified multiple times with the “manager” on time frame and price - woman assured me all was written down and accurate and to call her on the day with any problems- when they showed up an hour late she didn’t answer!! What a surprise! Then when they show up they said they came from Brooklyn and we’re told to be there at 10 not 9 and instead of paying for three people they opened the truck and saw 4. I knew I was in trouble when half of them were wearing sandals and all they came with only packing tape- there was NOTHING TO HELP LIFT HEAVY ITEMS!! They took their sweet time so knowing I had a time limit, my father and I helped them to move faster- when we got to next destination they made a phone call and just sat there instead of continuing to move told me price was $300 more then quoted and said I had to pay for 4th person!! I said no way that’s not my problem and had to negotiate- they brought some furniture in and left the rest of the boxes in the garage poorly stacked! RIP OFF AND NOT A REAL COMPANY - CONSUMERS BEWARE PAY MORE FOR THE REAL MOVERS THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS AND TRY TO SCARE YOU AND TAKE ADVANTAGE!!!!”

Admitted they had no insurance after they broke a mirror. They scratched floors, dropped things. It was like an episode of the 3 stooges, except it was not funny at all. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT book these people.”
