We inherited a beautiful bedroom set that included a very large armoire. After several attempts, we just couldn't get that piece up our stairs. We called B and C Moving company as they were local. The next day, Dave Ross came out and looked at the piece. After several minutes of measuring and looking at the staircase, he felt that they could get the piece up the stairs. The next morning, right on time, he came with four other men. They completely wrapped the piece and the banisters. Within 15 minutes of arriving, they moved the piece up the stairs. There was absolutely no damage to the piece or any of the walls or banisters. We couldn't be happier. They were complete professionals and understood how much we wanted to have the piece in our bedroom to complete the set. We highly recommend them and all of this came at a very reasonable price.”

These guys are the best! My husband and I had the opportunity to work with B&C Moving twice in the past 6 months, once when staging our house to sell, the second time when we made our actual move. We gave them 5 stars because ours was a difficult move from a logistical standpoint, involving a move out of a large multistory house with lots of steps and heavy furniture and then a long distance move to a city 3 hours away. The new house also presented challenges in the form of a long, narrow driveway which made access to the large moving truck impossible. This necessitated the movers to have to offload from a large truck to a small truck to get our many (heavy!) belongings up the driveway and into the new house. Because of the logistics and distance involved, our move took 3 days, so we spent a lot of time with our moving crew, Miguel, Al and Delfino. Never met a nicer, more helpful, hardworking bunch of guys. The days were long and tiring and our crew kept positive, kept working and showed utmost patience and professionalism throughout. We have a large collection of art and some pieces are very bulky and fragile. Everything was handled carefully and all pieces arrived in tact. Highly recommend B&C. Since it was scheduled to rain, they sent an extra man to make sure it goes faster. We beat the rain. The men were extremely polite, very helpful and spoke good English. They brought the boxes, picked up the left overs and even picked up the used boxes so we didn’t have to worry about getting rid of them. Nothing was damaged. Pacific Sales delivered a tub that needed to be delivered to the 2nd floor of our home... they arrived with two scrawny guys that in no way could bring the 280 lb tub upstairs. It was left on our front porch. In a panic I called all kinds of companies and most moving companies quoted prices more than the cost of the tub. Thank God for B&C, they were reasonable priced and moved the tub upstairs the day I called. The crew that came out was incredibly professional! Not only did they lift the heavy tub but they protected the wood floors, the staircase, and door frames along the way. Ben and Dave (owners) were so great even when I had to make the call to delay the date because of escrow problems. Used B&C Moving on October 18 for my move from Aliso Viejo to Oceanside and they did an excellent job. They showed up before their expected time with four guys and tow trucks. Since I was downsizing from a 2-story townhome to a ground level place, it was expected to take a great amount of time. I was reluctant at first in using a hand dolly on my hardwood stairs and floors but they covered them and there was not damage at all. They loaded the two trucks in a record time of three hours and completed the drive and unloading everything to the exact room as I requested by 3pm. They went above and beyond to ask if there was if everything was put in the correct place and made sure to protect my pictures and televisions and all of my furniture and extra clay pots. The final price was even $400 less than the quote that I received from Dave due to time used in the move. Dave was very thorough in estimating the amount of weight by his program on his laptop compared to other quotes that I received. I would recommend B&C Moving to anyone that wants a professional and well organized moving company and their staff. Thanks again for a great job!”

I like the price. However, I did see one of the movers intentionally scratch/dent my hardwood floor and kick over a frame with my grandfathers ww2 decorations, I believe intentionally. I actually still tipped them, and the one guy rolled his eyes and said every little bit helps. You could tell he was just an angry guy, and is probably not even there anymore. It was in 2015. It was hourly with a two hour minimum, and you kind of have to make sure they are moving.”

I just moved from Laguna Beach to Tiburon California using this company. The experience was wonderful. I packed boxes myself and the nice people here gave me all the free used boxes I needed. Their packing paper and tape prices are much more reasonable than even at Home Depot. My movers showed up exactly when they said they would, and efficiently loaded up all my boxes after dismantling my bed. Al, the driver and man in charge, was a marvel. Very kind and polite and very very helpful. I’d bought food for them but they did not eat any. Al was confronted with a difficult situation in Tiburon in that the driveway was down a tree-filled steep hill that the truck could not manage. He and his helper cheerfully ran everything down the football field size length without complaint. If you are doing a long distance move with B&C Movers, ask if Al is available. I’ve bought and sold 11 homes in my life as a result of many corporate relocations. I’ve used huge moving companies that did not go above and beyond like B&C movers did. Yes, they did charge a tad more than their perhaps less professional competitors, but not a thing was broken and the process was remarkably smooth. I am grateful it’s over. Forgive any typos or weird phrases because I am using My phone’s microphone to transcribe my words due to a hand injury.”
