As someone who has moved 7 times in the past 10 years, I can't recommend these guys enough. Mo, Abdul, and Noor were FANTASTIC!! This was the first move that I've had to execute completely on my own, making the process daunting- however with Athens it was a breeze and made the whole process so much more bearable. I've always paid top dollar for less than satisfactory moves in the past and Athens was the exact opposite-- they provided above and beyond service at less than half the usual price I typically spend. The gentleman were extremely prompt and showed up 5 minutes ahead of schedule to begin their inventory process/walk through of my home so it wouldn't take away from my allotted 2 hour bid. They were prepared, professional, and moved QUICK. They made me aware of everything they were doing along the way and offered different alternatives towards ways I could pack certain items to save time, space, and ultimately money. I'm amazed that they were able to move my 1800 ft home into my new residence within the 2 hour time frame. This company is worth your money and your items will be looked after and protected with great care. The gentlemen even went as far to help me position things in the new home as well, as plug in my washer dryer with the few spare moments we had left over. Take it from someone who has moved with just about every company in the triangle--Athens is the best service for the most affordable price. You won't regret working with them! Would give 10 stars if I could.”

We had a local move from a second floor apartment to a third floor apartment. We hired Athens Movers and our movers were Rasan, Moe, Kelo. They showed up a few minutes before our booked time. They loaded everything up in about 1.5 hours, drove to the new place and unloaded everything in about the same amount of time. My only “complaint” is that I felt they were rushing around. We have rolling hampers for our clothes and they were rolling them across the wood floor and onto the carpet. There is metal that separates the wood from the carpet and they rolled both the hampers in with no regards to the metal and broke wheels clean off on the both the hampers. It’s not something I would complain to ask to be reimbursed for but just felt like they were rushing to get it done. Overall great movers and was much appreciated for moving onto the 3rd floor apartment. Would book again.”
