It was horrible experience with them. They came 15 minutes late they wanted to go before 10 minutes scheduled. They did not arrange the things well in my u-pack containers, some of my items were damaged. They wasted lot of time on talking with each other and taking breaks. I don’t recommend these people for anyone. Better Stay away from them.”

The movers were late showing up. They did a good job other than they asked me if they could take pictures of just the items they were moving for marketing purposes. I agreed, but one of the guys began taking pictures of all parts of my house and wandering around looking at rooms in which he did not belong. They were moving mattresses around and nothing else. Made me feel very uncomfortable and I have put our security company on high alert for any suspicious activity going forward. Also, when the job was done, they hung out in my driveway smoking and organizing their truck for over 45 minutes making me miss an appointment because I was not going to leave my house with them in my driveway. I could not hear what they were talking about, but they looked to be having an argument, and then one guy started taking photos of the outside of my home. Had they not immediately gotten in their truck and left at that point, I was ready to call the police to have them removed. Very odd behavior. Again, the job was done and no damage occurred during the job, but the guys were sketchy and made me very, very uncomfortable during the entire time.”

Shady character. I scheduled him to help move a family member and gave him a deposit on my credit card over the phone about a month prior to the move. When plans changed, I had to cancel his services about 2 weeks prior to the move. I asked him to refund the $150 and he replied via text, and face-to-face with me that he would refund the deposit. One month later I'm still asking for the refund and he just responded tonight with a "F**k off. See text msg pictures attached...”

On Dec. 4th, 'Woody' agreed to send 2 men to help us move on Saturday Dec 8th at 9 a.m. He quickly asked for my credit card number, which he charged $150.00 as deposit. That Saturday he never showed up, never responded to calls & texts until after 6pm, when he actually admitted to being asleep all day. In the 6 weeks since, he's not refunded us any money at all, but keeps making increasingly angry & indignant promises. Do not give your credit card number to this scammer. See attached.”

Dishonest and unprofessional. Showed up 3 hours late and without a truck. This was despite being told I specifically needed him to move furniture and appliances. And he had already taken out $250 out of my account for the specific purpose of a deposit on a truck. When I told him he couldn't tie my furniture and appliances to the top of his car he promised he would show up the next morning with a truck if I let him take over some smaller boxes that night - a service I did not need and not what I hired him for. Of course the next morning he was a no show and I had to take another day off work and hire real professionals. He has 3 times offered to pay me a "partial refund" even though he did none of the work I hired him to do. And he has failed to do even that.”

Some of the helpers didn’t ever show up to unload(with my four year olds tv in their trunk) and never came back- tv gone, hardware to brand new furniture gone (and the furniture is 100% taken apart) and I’m pretty sure they also stole a laptop. Yesterday Woody did not show up to move my daughter after taking her $150 deposit. To save money she moved all of her boxes from the 3rd floor to the ground level on her own. He was supposed to move the heavy furniture and boxes. When he was late she texted him and sent him a picture of her belongings in front of the apartment and it was snowing. He blocked her and has never responded. Woody, please get in touch with my daughter to refund her money unless you want to have legal action taken against you. Do not use this company, total scam.”

I wish I could red flag this business. I paid a deposit which he demanded aggressively prior to my move. The day of my move it did lightly snow. I never heard from him so I assumed I was ok to move all my boxes down three flights of stairs as I told him I would in effort to shorten his time requirement. At the time of scheduled move I began trying to text all info on how to get into apartment complex. After no response I began to beg that he didn’t screw me over as am a single mom with no local support. I even sent a photo of all mine and my sons stuff downstairs. No response. Called many times.... nothing. Finally when I excepted he wasn’t coming I began asking for my deposit which was sent electronically through Zelle. He then blocked my number. I had my mother who lives out of state contact him (it went through) he didn’t respond. Angels that were strangers to me helped me. I rented a uhual myself and strangers helped me with no notice. After posting publicly what he did to me he magically was able to respond and say his phone wasn’t working. I guess the internet was down too because he emailed me a contract after my deposit. Just asked me to stop leaving public honesty about what he did to me. I again said I will take a warrent out if I don’t get my deposit back. No response. I will updat if he does return my money tomorrow ! Just sad what people do to others”

Asheville Moving Helpers was the first company that we called, and we are so glad that we did. We made our appointment, but, near the end of our trip, we screwed up and had to reschedule, with only a day's notice. Woody was understanding, sympathetic, and kind. What a relief that was! Once they arrived, Woody, and his partner, made the last chore of our long move an absolute cakewalk. They worked so hard, and in freezing temperatures! Used them once to move from one side of the apt complex to another- I had it all packed- they did good But broke my dining table- I let it go… Had them move us a year later to another complex and asked them to pack the apt and move it, total disaster! ThIngs missing 2 Days to move. I paid for a truck- they used it to do another job on my dime- 2 days for a one day job!? And items went missing like medication and a camera- The owner just sent random "dudes" never saw him- I'd use a bonded real company- I'm so easy breezy but this was bad- humpers, not movers!”
