Reviews are written so consumers can understand real life experiences with companies and make their own decision. People are not stupid. They can tell the difference between evidence based experiences, and 5 star puffery written by friends to cover up damaging experiences. When nearly $40,000 of items are lost, accumulated over a lifetime (a 9ft.China cabinet, Henredon furniture, invaluable signed Frederick Cooper lamps,3 beds, a rug, etc.) as well as tremendous damage done (dining room chair tops ripped off and legs ripped off)--. that's bad enough. But to add insult to injury and having an insurance company refuse to honor full replacement value insurance, paid for and promised, (for no legitimate reason--just because they can) is beyond the pale. That's why reviews are written, to warn others. Your response proves my point exactly. Reputable companies would apologize quickly, rectify the situation, provide full replacement insurance, paid for and promised, and hope to earn back the trust of customers. People are willing to forgive a mistake here and there ....but bad mouthing on social media, more lies to cover a bad review, refusing to pay a legitimate claim because it comes out of your pocket, speaks volumes. Foreign moving company? Honestly? Next we'll have alien invaders who stole the furniture.”

They left my items on the warehouse floor and did not lock them securely. Promises promises. Sneaky dishonest president and Sales Manager. In litigation now.”

When they got my home items out of the warehouse where someone stored my furniture they indicated that they couldn't believe how things were handled re:my furniture. They could NOT believe I paid 10,000.00 for the transport. They had never serviced anyone with a fee like that large amount. I am tired of being "taken" advantage of. Nobody ever mentioned that my items were going to be taken off the moving truck and stored. I am not happy and I will never recommend North American van lines and Allied.”

A team of untrained party kids who were doing shots on the job, pried furniture apart, dropped things down the ramp, gashed walls, didn’t wrap things or lift properly, etc descended on my house to make what should’ve been a 2 day move fit into one day. Things that were supposed to go upstairs went downstairs, we found broken things, hardware was lost, and the foreman spent 15 min puking in my bathroom. Their management didn’t care and in fact, their claims coordinator was one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever encountered.”
