“ I was moving very last minute and this company took advantage of me and my situation. By the time I realized they were not an actual moving company but a broker it was too late. They did not deny what they did but were not upfront about it either. Communication was a struggle. The company that actually did my move was okay. They took apart my furniture and left me to pick up the parts and such. When they delivered my stuff they did not put the furniture back together even though it says they will. My move was stressful enough and this broker company made it worse. My move could have and should have been less stressful and possibly less expensive.”

“ First of all the price went up twice after the original estimate, doubling the original estimate.They didn't bring a truck big enough for everything so we had to find people that would help us load vehicles and drive them 1800 miles, I had to pay for hotels, gas, food and two plane tickets and half of what was left is still there, so again, more plane tickets hotels, food and gas and a truck rental. I have lots of pictures of damaged items we, have missing items and when the truck pulled up to unload at least half the boxes were upside down. two of the younger guys where throwing water at each other which we had to clean up and spit something in the dresser drawers, Allegiance had contracted the job to out to ABC moving systems, US DOT 2437030, MC#840430, who has not responded at all to my calls, or emails and Allegiance, US DOT 3183105, MC#128059, has done nothing either to resolve the issue. and there are plenty of pictures and receipts to prove the damage and the cost, 4 times the the estimate if you include the money spent to move what they left behind. I wouldn't use either of these companies, they just don't care.”

“ I was satisfied with my quote for the move from Allegiance. However, the company to which they subcontracted my move (GTS Shipping) was unacceptable. I was never told that my belongings would be offloaded from the original van and put into storage. It was then several weeks before they were put onto another van for transport. I ended up missing several items and 6 items were damaged to the point that they needed to be thrown out. When I called Allegiance, they told me to make a claim with GTS. So the company that I contracted with will not take responsibilities for my claim. Now GTS refuses a claim unless it was documented at the time of delivery. Well, there was just one man from GTS to offload all my things.He I had to get family members to help. The delivery was so unorganized and frenetic that I had no opportunity to fully inspect my belongs. In short, my move was a nightmare for me. Please learn from this! The company you hire often isn't the company that moves you.”

“ I would give zero stars if I could. I will never use their services again and will recommend to my friends and colleagues to not use Allegiance. I wish I had read the reviews on BBB and encourage everyone to do so before booking Allegiance. They picked up my stuff on that date that I told them and was decided. All the problems started when they were supposed to deliver my stuff. I called them on one of the delivery dates to ask what time I can expect the driver and was informed that the delivery dates I gave were not guaranteed and those were the dates when they “start planning the route to my place”. They should not be saying “delivery date” on the forms as that is VERY different than “date we start planning your route”. Shawn Hart was the one who made my booking and I spoke to him about my dates. He stated several times that the dates I gave shouldn’t be an issue and that there would be at most a day or two delay. My stuff arrived almost 3 weeks after the date I gave. I know in response to this review/complain Allegiance will just copy and paste their contract stating delivery is not guaranteed and they have up to 30 days to deliver but I was fed false information throughout this whole process. The other big issue I had with Allegiance is communication. NOT ONCE did I ever receive a call from them. I ALWAYS had to be the one to call them and get information. Even for pick up, I had to call several times to find out what time they were coming. For delivery they told me to give the movers a week to “plan the route”. I did. I then called customer service every day to try and get a status update or some new information. Every time I called, they told me they would call back the next day. They never did. This happened multiple times for more than week. They said they would call back the next day and that day comes and goes with no phone call back. Joann in customer service was never helpful. During one of the many times I spoke to her, she said she would call me back the next morning between 9-10am. I said I expected a phone call back. But of course, I never got a call back. Extremely unprofessional and disorganized. Very difficult to get any information out of them on anything. When I booked them, I did not know that they use a 3rd party moving company. If I had known just that piece of information, I never would have used them. That should tell you all you need to know about why they are so inefficient and disorganized. Please stay away from this company otherwise you may find yourself in a new city with none of your belongings or furniture.”

After loading our furniture and driving away Ashley told us we owed an Additional 3000.00 and if we did pay they would bring our furniture back and dump it in our driveway. “ This company defines what customer service should and can be from the moment that you reach out to their office to schedule a move to the truck and men they send out to do the move. They show up on time, work hard, make the move as stress-free and easy as it can be while handling your items with great care. During these troubling times we do know that everybody is stressed out and companies are struggling but this company really showed us how well they are able to handle situations that may not be ideal. We had a last minute move and they were able to provide us with excellent service at a very reasonable price for what we were requesting. I can admit i am not always the easiest person to deal with when i am under pressure but these guys were super awesome and real patient with me. They kept us updated throughout our whole delivery process since we were having our items moved upwards of 2,000 miles and we knew it definitely would not be an overnight process for them to get it here. We were really please with how things worked out on the delivery end of things and how they worked with us to make sure our things were put back together right and they really seemed like they cared. We read about the horror stories of how moving goes and were very nervous when choosing a moving company but we do not have any regrets in choosing allegiance when things were all said and done. Bottom line. Do i recommend them? YES!!”
