Disappointing! This company helped to store and move my furniture. The two gentlemen who helped in the initial moving out process were professional and handled everything carefully yet speedily. Everything went smoothly and I had no complaints. However, a few items were damaged somewhere in between. The next two gentlemen who helped move all my belongings into my current home were nice and did their job well also. I’m not sure when nor how certain items were damaged, but these two individuals accounted for them and made sure to note the items. It's not, necessarily, a huge deal to me that items were broken because they weren’t extremely valuable and things like this happen during a move sometimes. The issue I have is that it’s been nearly an entire year and this company won’t return my calls. I mailed in the required form stating what items were damaged (and their estimated value I think) ASAP and didn’t get any response for about a month, so I call to check in and always reached a voicemail - no matter the time of day or day of the week. Finally, when I was able to get in touch with someone they transferred me to another department or office, but it goes to a voicemail each time. I’ve left countless messages at this point. It’s so odd. I have no idea what to do but go to the place in person and I’m not even sure the office I am meant to visit to address the situation is even the right one. I might be told the one in another state is responsible. (I moved from Georgia to Florida). The whole situation is a mess. It had not been a major priority to get figured out since I was pregnant at the time (with more pressing things to deal with). My baby is almost 5 months and this is still an unresolved situation!”

They were terrific at first. They sent someone to estimate the cost and the guys who loaded the truck were fast, polite and efficient. HOWEVER... They demanded I take delivery at a time that was very inconvenient to me and I was forced to use a storage facility. That cost extra money and they CHARGED me extra to deliver it there. Here's the relevant info: I shipped my dining room table with my belongings and I found it broken in the storage locker. Also, boxes marked fragile are crushed under heavy piles of boxes. They have told me not to move my things out of the locker or they would deny responsibility for the breakage. I can't inspect it without moving it to get to everything. These people bury relevant info in a long contract and fail to mention the important points. I paid thousands and they couldn't fully explain things or point them out. Now they are giving me a very hard time about a refund. I will NEVER use these idiots again.”

Our damage claim got escalated (some how) so now we have gotten the floors repaired. Their manager was pretty frank with us, they get scammed a lot by people trying to take advantage of them to get their furniture replaced or get money for damage that existed already. I empathize, but that it still hurts to be called a liar. Our first move went so well, that my expectations were high. Our first mover (Ricky) was so professional and honest and a really nice person. If you can get Ricky to run your move, you will be well taken care of. I've updated my rating to a 3 (basically the average of my two experiences). Ricky = 5, Mr. In-a-Hurry = 1”

A.C.E Relocation Systems was recommended by our Real Estate agent. I usually get a bunch of friends/family together to help me move, but I decided to take a break on this move. My wife and I have a new baby, and it's kind of hard to plan, and juggle everything with new responsibilities. I'm glad I used them, because they were quick and professional. They took extra care by covering corners in our house with pads/blankets, laying runners to protect the floors, and wrapping all our stuff with blankets and padding. We also had to close on our new home the following day, and needed them to keep our stuff overnight. We don't plan on moving for a long time, but if we did, I would definitely use these guys again. "Candace" at Ace was a consummate professional -- smart, kind, efficient, and precise. She was a pleasure to work with, developed an estimate for us very quickly, and thoroughly explained what services would be provided, what insurance coverage was provided, and how the process would work. Once she handed off to Atlas, our coordinator "Gwen" was quick to follow up and arrange the mover. Then, our Atlas mover/driver, "Torrez" was great. He packed up my Mom's stuff, loaded the van, drove it to Maryland, unloaded and set things up at my Mom's new assisted living facility. It has taken me a while to post this review, but in that time I have been able to fully assess my experience with Ace Relocation Services and Atlas. I had to post this because although it is easy to vent frustration with negative experiences, I think it is important to share the good experiences we have. And my experience with Ace was phenomenal. My move last summer was a bit abrupt, and since it turns out that July is the absolute busiest time for movers, poorly timed. I contacted several companies for quotes to move the contents of 2 storage units from Tampa, FL to DC. Of the few who responded, Ace had the most professional and caring associates. Michelle Dillard handled my move and I can not say enough wonderful things about her. She took so much time speaking to me, communicating clearly every step of the way. Since I was not in FL at the time, these communications and her attention to detail were immensely helpful. She moved mountains to make sure my stuff could be moved within my tight timeframe and she kept up with me every step of the way. Even more impressive: she did this as she faced some unexpected and stressful personal situations of her own. Not once did her professionalism, personal kindness, or attention to detail falter. Once everything was on its way, Gwen helped me handle the logistics of receiving my goods. She was always available and helpful. The team that delivered my goods were to a person super friendly, clean, professional. They were quick and efficient and thoughtful. Really, more than I had hoped for. I know it sounds like hyperbole, but my experience with Michelle and Ace was truly one of the best I have ever experienced. It was obvious that they cared about their jobs and as a client I felt they cared about my move, which is a nice change.”
