I have left numerous voicemails and emails and have yet been able to talk to a person. One person left me a message and referred me to a manager. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They damaged several expensive items and only offered $250 to offset the damage. They ruined a fairly new executive desk worth $600, buckled the legs on my pool table, a credenza is out of square and our sleep number mattress is not shaping back up correctly. I estimated that they cost me approximately $1500 to fix the items myself. Needless to say I declined their settlement offer. The crew was all about speed and not about caring for you stuff! I guess you get what you pay for?”

My biggest concern before my move was having everything ready and the time it might take. I talk to their sales people and they helped get last minute items I was using boxed up the evening before which was a huge help. The biggest surprise was the same crew (Victor?s Crew) coming back the next morning and getting everything into the trucks while one went to my storage unit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - HORRIBLE SERVICE I recently sold my home to move closer to work and had to move into an apartment until my new home is ready. It was very easy to schedule a service with AB Moving and the customer service was easy and convenient. Almost too easy, but hindsight is always 20/20. To make a long story short, they damaged literally every piece of furniture they moved for me. My washer, dryer, sofa, sideboard and headboards were all damaged. Most of the damage are scratches and dents that can be easily repaired or not visible based on where I arrange the furniture in my home. However, they destroyed my refrigerator!! I asked them to place the refrigerator in a storage unit near my apartment with two beds and a dining table. Apparently, the storage unit was not large enough, but instead of letting know there was not enough room, the movers jammed my furniture into the unit causing scratches and dents on the refrigerator!! The back of it is smashed in several places and there are screws coming from underneath it. I have no idea what component those screws held in place, but I guess I will figure it out once I try to use it in my new home. The refrigerator cost $1700.00!!! Now I will have to pay more to have it repaired or replaced. I paid $1400.000 plus a generous tip for the moving service!! I filed a claim with AB moving on July 14 and they have yet to respond to my claim. After multiple calls and emails, I ultimately contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. Hopefully I can get my money back and this will at least help me replace the refrigerator if it does not work when I move into my new home. I also made a review about the company on their Facebook page and within minutes they deleted my comment. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!!”

After filing a claim, no communication has been made with us other than an email request for an invoice. Then the claim was denied and closed. I emailed and called AB Moving and was advised to email the photos over to claims to take care of this. Allen contacted me early August and realized that the movers did not follow procedure and would follow up with the crewâ??s supervisor to figure out next steps. At the end of August, after making 8+ phone calls, multiple messages left with the operators, and follow up emails requesting an update, I realized I was being ignored. Background: There was no damage to our carpet. Our apartment is still considered brand new less than 2 years old. The bed was where the damage was and it was on an adjustable metal frame/platform (20-25 lb). The photos show where the bed sat and you can clearly see that the damage was caused by the feet of our dresser. One of the movers lifted the furniture and twisted it on one corner to place onto the dolly. It was clear that using that method would create a bald spot in the carpet area. My apartment charged me $549 to replace the carpet in that bedroom! I have moved with AB Moving before and our prior experience was different. I booked 2 movers, they showed up with 3 and did not charge me extra. The movers were very professional and used iPads to document time, photos of furniture, damage, and payment. One of the movers ended up being a little rough with our furniture and damaged a desk and a dresser drawer became non-functional and stuck after the move. The supervisor was extremely apologetic and noted the damages, told me to file the claim ASAP and they would take care of it. I honestly didnâ??t go out of my way to do so because I couldnâ??t be mad at them after being so professional so I made it super low priority. I have referred friends to them and was extremely happy with the customer service and friendliness of the moving crew. We were expecting this level of customer service again. During this move, actually out of the apartment they moved us into, we were made aware that one of the movers worked directly with AB moving and the other mover was a contractor for AB moving (as he stated). No pre-inspection of the apartment was done, no documentation, no iPad, didnâ??t even sign anything before or after, and even had us make a payment over the phone with a manager after the move. Really weird experience. There was only one thing brought to our attention during the move: A loose leg for the living room couch, which we were already aware of. During the move, granted we lived down a very long hallway, the movers were less than friendly and were very passive aggressive after bringing the damage to their attention. In addition to all of this, as soon as they completed the move to the storage unit, they immediately started an impromptu move with a random lady at the storage place after she asked how much they would charge to help her. The level of professionalism is incomparable between the two moves and I'm extremely upset that our customer claim is being handled this way. My move was $395 but ended up costing me almost $1,000!!! I understand things happen and moves arenâ??t 100% perfect. I have been reasonable and patient, but that has worn out after zero contact back from John. Customer service/experience should be top priority for anyone in the service industry and not swept under the rug. I have been seeking reimbursement for the carpet replacement ($549). I just wanted this resolved from the start.”

I HIGHLY recommend this moving company!! I hired 3 movers from AB Moving to move me from Dallas to Murphy this past Holiday weekend. I had booked my move on Yelp a couple of weeks earlier. And the day prior and morning of my move the Movers texted me to let me know when they would be arriving. Even though it was 20 mins past my scheduled time, I didn't mind because it gave me more time to organize. They wrapped all of my things in plastic wrap and blankets and quickly moved them into the truck, took apart my very complicated bed frame (and put it back together at my new place!) AND they even moved my friend's big TV into her SUV. They did WHAT EVER we needed. There were NO hidden fees or costs for stairs or anything like that. Moving sucks and with their help, it actually made moving stress-free. I tipped them $50 each because they truly earned it and deserved it 🙂 HIRE AB MOVING- YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!”

DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR MOVE! I have never been treated so poorly in all my life. The manager called to bring his movers out of the rain while they were in mid-move from my apartment. When, I called him saying I had to be out by midnight, the manager actually yelled at me and called me a b^tch! Wow! All b/c I wanted them to finish my move (which was completely protected from the weather. So, they had to unpack the van and leave me completely stranded. Hello, it's a one-bedroom apartment - it would have taken them like 30 mins to do the whole move. Well, they unpacked in a hurry and broke/damaged/scratched TONS of things of mine. My boyfriend called the manager back and the manager threatened to kick his a$$. Uh, real professional (?//). Simply b/c I wanted them to complete the job I hired them for. I had scheduled a move for 12:30 - 3 on Thursday, August 29 with AB Moving. Due to some issues our lender misplacing a signed form that was needed, we ended up delayed. I was told our closing would be pushed back to 2 PM, at which point I called and asked if it was possible to push my move back or ensure they would not arrive until 3 PM. I was told that there was a truck with a flat and everyone was running behind and I couldn't be fit in later that day, but I could move to Friday, Aug. 30, between 4 – 7 PM. I agreed to that move date and time and noted to contact me if anything happened to open up Thursday, making sure to note I had to be out of my storage facility by end of month. I did not hear from AB Moving again until I contacted them Friday at 5 PM to confirm I was on the schedule and they would not be past 7 PM since I was moving out of an unlit storage facility. I was assured I was and they would call me when 30 minutes out. . I had left work early to change and be ready to get over to our storage location as soon as they called. As 7 PM approached I headed over to the storage facility to ensure I would not hold them up as we would now be working against the sun setting and lack of light. At 7:40, I got a call stating they did not know where the drivers where or how far out and he (the dispatcher) was trying to track them down. I told him that there was no light once the sun went down at this storage facility and that it was setting so I needed them quickly. I also stated that if I didn't get out of the unit I had to pay for another month. He called back 10 minutes later (now 7:50) to report they were an hour out and maybe could get there around 9 PM (after sundown). I told him there was no point and it wouldn't be safe to move try and move unless they were equipped with spotlights. He said he would see what he could do Saturday. I requested Saturday morning as I already had plans Saturday that I could not reschedule. When he called back I was only offered late Saturday, and that was not a firm commitment just an “if they could squeeze me in”. I ended up having to schedule for Sunday and pay $144.00 because AB Moving did not meet their contracted appointment time window Sunday, three men arrived within the time I had been given. They did work quickly. They did not, however, work extremely safely or carefully, choosing to forgo the appliance dolly that was sitting on the ground. While moving my washing machine they apparently (I did not see what happened as I wasn't watching them at the time and only heard the crash) lost their balance while heading up the ramp to the truck and the washing machine toppled over onto the front. The damage to the machine was extensive. The electrical is completely shot and I was advised by four washing machine repair men it was not worth trying to fix. The piece that holds the drum in cracked where the screws hold it down and it doesn't function any longer, the body is cracked and scratched and dented. The entire electrical compartment has broken loose; the water drain in the back broke loose so if you try and attach a drain hose it just recedes into the washer. All this to say it is shot, forcing us to purchase a new washer. Our model is not available so we had to purchase another washer for $800 to get a comparable quality washer (the one that was broken was 1299.00 when new six years ago). I am now out $944 (144 800) due to negligence of AB Moving. I understand things happen, I also understand that the standard insurance required is measured in pounds and doled out at $0.60 per lb, but I am now out $944 because of AB Movings lack of ability to meet a contract and negligence by their crew while loading (it is one thing to take proper precautions and have an accident, it is another to have an accident when not using the available proper precautions even though you advertise you are professional trained movers who will take every precaution).”

I explained my situation and the worked with me to accommodate a special rate and even threw in a 3rd man for free! My husband and I hired AB Moving and Relocation to move an upright piano a very short distance for us, and received a piano with significant damage. Upon arrival at my home, I observed the “professional movers”, Moe and his one crew member, push my piano out of the back of their truck only partially wrapped in plastic and padding, with the entire right side exposed where the plastic had clearly been sliced through, and only partially wrapped on the left side. They took the piano off the dolly onto my ceramic tile flooring, and rolled it across the tile to its final destination (despite it being common knowledge that doing so may break tile). I immediately checked the side of the piano that had been exposed, and saw that the black enamel had been significantly chipped, with flakes of the enamel on the floor surrounding it. When I pointed this out to Moe, he said “I don’t think we did that, this piano wasn’t in perfect shape in the first place”. When I pointed out the enamel flakes on the floor, he said “oh, maybe we did do that”, making no apologies. His moving partner (only 1) immediately walked out of my home and returned to his truck. I found more damage to the back of the piano on the wood, and even more significant damage on the left side.”

Very slow movers!!! Each time we have moved, we used movinghelp.com and was done within 2 hours with 2 movers. It took this company 2 hours just to load the truck with 3 men!! Also, two men took a dump in our bathrooms without asking nor stopping the clock, we didn't know until they needed toilet paper...how nasty and unprofessional! My family had to help load and unload because they were so slow!!! We paid over $500 and still have a garage full of boxes to take upstairs into our home. I would never recommend or use them again. They were leaving the house with one item on the dolly and wrapping furniture that my husband had already done! I think this was to try to make the move longer so they could profit more since it was hourly! Never again!!! Negative 5 stars!!! We paid for 4 hours and still have to move several boxes ourselves...not happy!!”

These people are criminals, we hired 3 trucks & 6 guys. They stole our clothes, scratched valuable antiques& all of our furniture, even though it was wrapped, the even stopped up our commode in the garage at our old house & it flooded our entire garage where they left valuable antiques & all we found was a huge roll of toilet paper deliberately stuffed into the commode. This was done to delay the time. They kept saying they were coming to see us & then they just didn't return our phone calls, we are filing suit against them. We have since talked to 6 people that were scammed by these deadbeats! They even called the Galveston County sheriff's Dept& staged a fake argument between me & my husband 2 times to stretch out their time, GCSD sent 4 officers to our home. We had to buy new clothes because they stole our clothes, trophybelt buckles and etc! These people didn't even flush the commodes inside of our house when they did no. 2, they left an awful mess for us to clean up, I could go on & on, they are all CRIMINALS!
