Alonzo probably provides excellent service he wrapped my tv stand and loaded it in my van on 10/09/21 which was given to me free by 1 of his clients so no I did not hire him but made him liable for damaging the trunk when him and his worker put it down on the tv stand that wasn't pushed far enough inside of the vehicle it made such a load bang I thought the glass had broken on the van door so he instructed his worker to pull the tv stand forward when I returned home the trunk would not open even with the remote after contacting him he was rude and would not except responsibility and told me he would not pay me 1 dime. This is someone without a moral compass”

Excellent, start to finish. Leaving town for the summer, we needed to put our household goods in storage. Our movers were on time, efficient and hard working. We had a three hour window to empty my apartment and have it stored into a storage unit before they closed at 6 pm. I thought my unit was large enough, but after getting our household goods into the truck and we started loading the unit it looked way to small. Our mover shifted into space utilization mode and was able to fit everything in, without an inch to spare and by 6. Did I mention it was hot and poured rain during the move? Our movers we're kind, careful and hardworking. We will DEFINITELY call them again when we move back into town and move our stuff back into our new home!”

We have used A&A Moving on 2 occasions and on both occasions they have proven to be professionals through and through. Alonzo and his co-worker (sorry I forgot the other gentleman's name) arrived on time, were friendly, had a great attitude, they did everything possible to make the move as easy as possible for my disabled mother. They used great care both in loading her furniture and valuables in the truck and maximizing the space in the truck to ensure everything fit. Alonzo made her feel comfortable and like everything would be taken care of by asking several times throughout the experience, if there was anything else that she needed. They went above and beyond when my mom grossly underestimated how much stuff she had and they ended up staying more than 4 hours past when they were supposed to be done, ensuring that she and her belongings would make it to her new house (4 states away) in time to meet the other movers the next morning. I would not hesitate to recommend A&A Movers to anyone, and hope to be able to use them again, should I have to move again.”

Alonzo kept me updated via text on his eta and arrived on time and ready to work. They brought dollies and blankets with them to ensure a fast and safe move. Movers that are fast and don't break the bank? I'll take 2 please! I've used these guys twice now and had a great (and painless) experience both times. Their response times are quick; just shoot them an email telling them where and when and they respond at the drop of a hat. They call you as soon as they arrive, and they've arrived in a 15min window each time. They are FAST! They can wrap furniture in seconds and don't need manuals to take anything apart. You can tell they really know what they're doing and they don't waste any time. That being said, fast makes me nervous. But they are careful too. They take the time to make sure everything is secure and moved carefully. My glass table, huge picture frame, and flat screen all arrived safely and unharmed both times. They're also cheaper than most places you'll find in this area. They'll give you a fair quote and break it down for you so you know exactly what you'll be paying. And they take venmo! (Or cash or credit, but if you live in this decade you know venmo is the best). Moving is stressful enough, don't make it more stressful. These guys can help ease the pain! Definitely recommend.”

These guys are straight up incredible. I hired Alonzo and his team for a cross-country job in November 2018: Washington DC to Northern California. I called 40-something other companies before choosing A&A Moving, and was floored by Alonzo's honesty and respectfulness. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch pricing, just real talk about his costs, how much he needs to pay his guys, and what I could afford. He even told me he'd be coming on this move personally, which made me feel better about the whole thing. My experiences with other movers have made me kind of neurotic; Alonzo handled this with poise and understanding. He sent me multiple confirmations before our scheduled packing day, and sent plenty of updates that day, so I always knew where they were at. I returned from work to find everything neatly packed, with the exception of my bed and a few items that Alonzo and crew thought I might need - soap, toilet paper, towels, deodorant, tampons, my travel neck pillow... Those items were handled the next day, when the guys loaded my boxes into the truck. The actual move went off without a hitch. Alonzo kept me updated about his location and ETA during the cross-country drive, and he and his colleague Bryan (or is it Brian? Either way, you rock, dude) arrived at my California apartment within 15 minutes of their promised delivery time. Not a single item was broken, my furniture was in exactly the same condition I left it in DC, and they managed to get everything into the apartment without a single scratch or scuff mark on my walls. Seriously, I cannot speak highly enough about A&A Moving. If this is how they handled a cross-country job, I can only imagine their precision and attention to detail during shorter / easier moves.”

You were living with a jealous girlfriend and you broke the base off of my almost brand new 46" Samsung tv and took it with you so that you could order the proper replacement piece. That never happened and eventually your phone number was disconnected. I stand by my review - you lied to get my business; I hired you to pack because I had just gotten out of the hospital, my husband was in Afghanistan and the day after the move I had an appointment with a neurosurgeon.”

Moved on 8/24/19 and my daughter's bed was not put together properly and the frame broke that night when she laid down. DO NOT HIRE THEM. They stuffed a full 2 bdrm apartment into the smallest truck they had. The owner, Alonzo pretended that he would reimburse for the frame he broke and the cost of the new frame; he asked for the original cost and cost of new frame before sending reimbursement. Sent everything this today, 9/17/19 and his response was he didn't break the $78 bed frame. WHAT? WHO ELSE DID? I moved my college graduate from Ohio and it was fine and other movers moved us to another apartment in Virginia on 7/20/19 and it was not broken then either. Why did it break when his company moved it. Instead of paying full price for both bed frames, he only sent via cash app the cost of one bed frame and then had the snarky response that he didn't break the cheap frame. My response of who did ignited rage and he is now no longer paying for what he originally agreed to pay for. Horrible business practices. Skip this company at all costs - he talks a good game nut you will not be happy. Guess I have to see if he's insured. Can I also state this 1 mile move cost over $900. Save your money. If one of the other companies were available that day, never would have used him. I used other movers who were more professional and cheaper when I left Maryland to move to Virginia. I was asked to leave a good Yelp review and luckily I didn't that day because it was more money out of pocket to buy another bed frame. No one with 15 years experience acts so unprofessional. We called the next morning about the broken bed frame. It took some time to get a 3 year old bank statement that he knew was a waste of time. SCAMMER. Look at other bad reviews, they are honest as well.”
