To start with, I had called several other local moving companies that gave me the run around, turned out to have terrible customer reviews or higher costs. I saw 2 Brothers had a history of fantastic reviews and gave it a shot. I got a call back from Ted who was super friendly, professional and very thorough. He gave me a very reasonable quote for the service I needed, which was just transferring units in the same building. I also received and email with the details we discussed and a follow up call to confirm. I had two movers scheduled for Friday morning sometime between 8:30am-9:30am and I received a call at 8:45am that the guys were on the way with estimated travel time (since that was included in the 2 hour time slot I had booked). The movers, Ethan and Griffin, showed up in a very timely manner and were very warm and introduced themselves and then they got right to work. They were also very thorough with the checklist and potential charges. They worked super efficiently, were careful and didn't damage anything and placed the furniture and boxes exactly where I needed them in the new place. Before we signed off on everything, we did a walkthrough, double checked everything and they were kind enough to do some small adjustments. They were very careful to work within the timeframe we had and everything got done perfectly. I had a fantastic experience hiring this company. The cost was fantastic and they didn't try to push me into unnecessary charges. Ethan and Griffin provided excellent service and treated my belongings with care. I wasted so much time and money here. The moving was slow and subpar. We spent hundreds more than we expected bc their staff was not properly trained. Then we used their storage facilities - tiny wooden containers that were too expensive. They then charged the incorrect card every month we were there - damaging my credit. They never knew what card to use or if they had even received payment from me. When I asked do some financial retribution, they strung me along for weeks and then blamed it on me. STRONGLY SUGGEST AGAINST THIS DEEPLY DISORGANIZED, PASSIVE AGRESSIVE, TOTAL WASTE OF TIME OF A COMPANY.”

Yesterday was an amazing moving day, thanks to the hard work, care and diligence of our 2 Brothers team: Thai, Juan and Gregory. On a very hot day, we had them take everything out of our 1926 English style Portland home (with really narrow and steep stairs) and drive it 60+ miles to deliver in two locations in the Columbia River Gorge. All told, it ended up being a 14 hour day for them, and they were just as kind, considerate and motivated in the last minutes of the day as they were at the start. Neither my wife or I were looking forward to moving, but it ended up being an enjoyable day with Thai, Juan and Gregory. I think 2 Brothers Moving & Delivery really cares about its employees, which makes for happy, motivated and capable movers.”

We hired 2 Brothers Moving for full pack and moving service, to move from a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment (~960 sq. ft) to a 3 bedroom house just a few miles away in Portland. I had packed 1/3 of our stuff. The movers started packing at 9AM and did not arrive at the new house until 4PM! It was the slooooowest packing/moving experience we've ever had. The lack of clear and honest communication made this worse-- the mover in charge told us "almost done" several times when they were still hours away from arriving at the new house. There were 3 of them and they had the option to get a 4th mover for higher hourly rate and we totally wish they had done that. In addition, there were damages (scratches) to 3 of our furniture pieces. The guys were nice and seemed like professionals, but not sure why it took so long and not sure why the communication was so poor throughout the process. Again, wish they had called in the 4th person for help so we could have moved along faster.”
