As for the moving guys, they were terrific. They get to work right away. They were efficient. Would I use them to move again? Yes. Matthew Walker is the rudest business owner I've ever dealt with. He didn't take responsibility for damage his workers caused and went so far as to call my elderly parents liars! I would strongly suggest you NOT use this company. His work is sub par and his attitude is horrendous. He's terrible to work with and his work is shoddy. And the lies continue in his response. He is untrustworthy and a liar. Very poor businessman. Shame on you Matthew. You're a liar and you are certainly not a gentleman. I stand by my review. I was present for the move, Mr. Walker was not. Mr Walker continues to misrepresent the facts and is untrustworthy. He never offered compensation and in fact demanded additional payment when he went to inspect the damage caused by his workers.”

The movers were nice until they broke an expensive bed and lied about it. They damaged furniture and when it was reported to Mathew the owner he was rude and disrespectful. He treated my elderly parents with such disrespect it was shocking! He was condescending and refused to take responsibility for the damages the movers caused. He is dishonest and untrustworthy, I would not recommend using this company. I'm sure he will have a rude sarcastic response to this, but my review is 100% true! In response to the unethical owner Matthew who cannot take responsibility for his mistakes or horrible service - I WAS THERE. Once again you lied. I was at the house when the movers damaged furniture - you were not - I booked the appointment - I knew you would try to cover up. Add lack of accountability to your list. Worst business person EVER! I feel sorry for you. You are a dishonest liar. I hired you to move my parents, I called and I set up the appointment. My parents never said everything was damaged, just the pieces the movers DID damage and try to cover up. Matthew was shown before and after pictures of the damaged pieces but did not care. The move was on Sunday the 30th of January. They called Wednesday regarding the damages because Monday and Tuesday were holidays. I could go on to rebut his endless lies, but unlike him, I have better things to do with my time.”

I'm moving in two stages. Today was stage one. Newly refurbished furniture so I was extra happy to see the way these two (the Dominic and Jeremy mentioned above) took care of these big, heavy pieces. The day of our move the movers Zach and Gabe arrived and got straight to work. Zach and Gabe were PHENOMENAL!. not only were they strong but they worked as a team to get things done. We moved from a small 1 bedroom to a townhouse. Took about 5 hrs to get the whole move done. Let me tell you, there is NO way my husband and I could of moved our selves with all the stuff we had. So I would say do not use this company, unless you want your furniture damaged and the move to take forever. I recently used this company and only one guy knew what he was doing the other two where clueless and spent more time on their cell phone then actually moving. Was promised a 17' truck with two guys, instead sent a 12' truck and 3 guys. Once the truck finally got loaded, the items that we're supposed to wrapped with blankets were all damaged, broke a lamp and dropped a large piece of furniture and damaged it. I would say looks elsewhere for professional movers and pay the difference. It's worth it!! TRUST ME!!”

They were a couple hours late, which was not a problem, and said they were doing the job because the other crew was held up. This was fine, except that one of the moving guys was very rude and seemed angry at us throughout the move. He said we didn't have enough items to serve as a base so the damage insurance would be void, and asked me if we'd used a much larger truck when we moved to CT or gotten new things because there was no way they'd all fit in the truck, and said he thought the job would take two hours instead of three. I told him we'd used an 8' truck before instead of the 12' we rented this time, but we had packed it to the ceiling, and that I had gotten a patio bistro table as a kitchen table and a small 2.5 ft dresser, but we were also leaving behind the couch, loveseat, and ottoman. Then throughout the move he kept repeating that something had changed really angrily and was just generally really rude (sarcastically asking the same question multiple times if I didn't give him the answer he wanted, ignoring me when I talked to him, etc.). It was really confusing because why would I lie to someone about how we moved before, the only penalty is my own things would have to be left behind.? And also because I was being super friendly and didn't mind at all that they were late, and expressed being really grateful they stepped in for the other team. There was a lot of standing around (thinking about which boxes to move I guess), and slow-moving in general, one box at a time. In the end they were moving things for 2 hours and 10 minutes, and said they had to charge us for an extra half hour. And being slow, late, and taking longer than expected wouldn't have been upsetting if the guy in charge hadn't been awful about it the whole time. It was an awful experience. I just don't understand what was going on, except that maybe he was just angry the other guys hadn't shown up? So I was really nervous when we got to IL and were meeting other movers, thinking I'd never hired movers before and maybe it was just always a terrible experience. The movers when I got to IL were also hours late but super friendly, speedy, and unloaded the truck in an hour despite going up a flight of stairs. They even reassembled all of our furniture since they had so much time to spare. It's crazy how big a difference having a good team makes.”

We hired 2 Bros to load a storage trailer getting hauled to California. The good: - easy to communicate with over Yelp- brought straps (that we could buy off them) to secure the contents in the trailer- saved us $$ by packing the trailer tightly (2 feet less space than expected). The not great: - they wrapped only one piece of our couch in saran wrap, which protected the piece, but our other couch sections and bed were dirty from the inside of the trailer - CA side, many of our boxes marked as "fragile" were slightly caved in because there were many levels of boxes loaded on top of them. I'm thankful that nothing is broken, but it was tense seeing so many boxes with bent sides on the other end of the move.”

Matt was extremely professional with a no BS attitude that I really appreciated. Moving day was a pretty dramatic day for him but he managed it to the best that he could. The movers were scheduled to come by 8am but something happened to one of the workers, so they had to get a new person and come around 10am. Once they came, they went to work immediately and continued non-stop. Towards the end of the loading part, Matt came and started helping with the move as well. One of the workers then left abruptly, so Matt spent the next couple of hours helping with the move while also trying to find a replacement. He eventually found one and also continued to help with the move towards the last hour. After the move, I realized that I was missing some pieces for my desk. I messaged Matt and he responded immediately. They were small pieces that were essential to the structure of the desk so he said he would look for them inside the truck and if he couldn't find them, replace them immediately. He found some of them in the truck the next day so we decided that he should keep looking for them. About a week later, he concluded that he wouldn't be able to find them or order the pieces separately so venmoed me the price of the table, apologizing for the inconvenience that had caused me. All in all, Matt was great to work with and I would recommend the company. One thing to keep in mind is that the workers work non-stop throughout the day, so if it's going to be a long move, you should be prepared to buy them some lunch and give them a short break. If not, I think the job pushes them to work without eating for the entire day.”
