Umbrella has moved me four times and every time they were fantastic. I have moved into a storage unit long term twice with them and both times they set it up with all my complicated directions and wrapped everything well for long term storage at my direction. The scheduler was efficient and easy to work with. The movers themselves were awesome at their work and enjoyable men to be around. I have had things go missing with other moving companies and never with Umbrella. Moving is stressful and because I’ve done it so many times I have a good system. I number every box and label every box. I set up the boxes for the movers the way I’d like them to be loaded in the truck. It helps with any confusion at the end. I always purchase my own packing supplies for things I know I have a particular desire to be packed a certain way, like beds. I get bed bags on amazon. The 3 man crew showed up on time in a nice truck and they seriously kicked so much butt it was awesome. They worked fast, took great care of our stuff and had great attitudes. “ I hired Umbrella to move my girlfriend and our kids (10 and 8) from her one story 1,200 sf house to a two story 1,600 sf house about 15 minutes away. On the day of the move, it was just just me with the movers - she was at work and the kids were at their grandparents. I needed the entire move to be done by noon so that I could make a meeting that I was leading that afternoon. Umbrella sent a three-man crew and a truck that arrived at 815a. My girlfriend and I made sure that the house was completely packed, the furniture disassembled, and the movers could just grab and go. At the new house, I asked the movers to take the bedroom furniture and about a third of the boxes upstairs to the respective bedrooms. I did not ask them to assemble any furniture or unpack any boxes. The movers were extraordinary. They were thoughtful, efficient, expert, and entertaining. They finished the move on time and I made my meeting comfortably. Since being in the new house, we have spent the last several days assembling furniture and unpacking boxes. There was absolutely no damage to anything - not to the furniture, not to the contents of the boxes, and not to either of the houses. There were no scratches on any walls, no dings or dents in doors, or on any of the furniture. The movers were fantastic. I pushed them. They did not know they were under such a strict time limit before they arrived, but there were no complaints, no excuses, just expert execution. Additionally, booking and coordinating the move was as simple as it should be. When I called, I was greeted by a friendly and capable administrator who learned what I needed, quoted me accurately, and followed up the day before the move. Payment after the move was seamless. After I signed off that I was satisfied with their service, Umbrella billed the card I put on file when I booked. I highly recommend Umbrella Movers. I had an excellent experience from beginning to end.”

“ I never do bad reviews; however since I got no response from the owners as promised I felt like I needed to do this. This was by far the worst experience in truck loading I have had; and I’ve moved 10 plus times. One star is too much! My boxes were packed great. Tight? In protected covers, etc. even used similar sz boxes to make stacking easier. Here’s just a tad of what happened. Practically everything was scratched, dresser destroyed can’t be fixed, hutch hole in the back, broken things everywhere. Boxes broken open. I could list a bunch of things. Not to mention the employee who was downright rude and disrespectful. Then there is the amount of money they charged! They left charging my card one price but saying they made a mistake and the employee would have to pay!!! Well, that gives you the jest! If the owner had just rang me to discuss these things I’d have never done this; but they must not care.”
