“ I hired Topline because of all the positive reviews so I was willing to pay a little more for what I thought would be a better experience. First 3 men show up with 0 masks in site in the middle of a pandemic. I understand not wanting to wear them going up and down the stairs multiple times but when interacting with customers they should have some. I went ahead anyway because I had to move that day. Then they tell me their insuraunce is they have no insurance. That they cover "$.60 per pound" so you have a $500 20lb tv they break, you're getting less than $20 for it. I was not told this policy ahead of time and didn't go with other movers who had this policy trying to avoid it. But once again day of move I have no choice. I will say the 3 guys themselves worked hard and seemed nice. They did fight amoungst themselves often and almost got me involved a few times. They quoted me a 4 hour move at $650 it took 6 hours and ended up being over $900 with the tip. I wish now I could take some of that tip back. The biggest reason I hired movers was because of my electronic couch and chair which were extremely heavy. So I was willing to fork out money for the extra time because I knew those items were cumbersome. That night I notice the couch and chair are not plugged in. On top of that their power packs are no where to be found. So now I have to do a treasure hunt then try to lift these heavy furniture items to put them back togegher which is why I hired them in the first place. 2 days after the move I had to go back to my old house to let in cleaners and what do I find. The power packs for my couches as well as what would be 1 load for the movers, what was 3 loads for me worth of stuff. Which if the truck was full sure. But the truck filled before all my furniture was in and we did have to come back for a second trip. And that second trip the truck was mostly empty there was plenty of room. Conclusion save yourself some extra cash I got a slightly better experience with cheaper movers.”
