About Space to Space Moving & Storage
Growing up, my family and I moved around almost constantly. In fact, we moved around so much that we often joked we might as well have our own moving company. In 2001, our family inside joke became a reality when my parents, Ron and Judy Space, and I opened Premium Moving, Inc. in Oak Island, North Carolina. It was a true honor to spend the next 10 years of my life building Premium Moving from the ground up alongside my family. However, in 2011, fate stepped in when I met a young woman born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. A little over three years later, I was in a moving truck filled with my own belongings, off to settle down in the hometown of my future bride.

Established in 2017. They opened the Greensboro branch of Premium Moving, Inc., with the lofty goal of someday opening they own business – a partner and sister company to Premium Moving, Inc., but also an independent chapter to represent my new beginning with the love of my life. In 2017, with the full support of both they Oak Island and Greensboro families, the mover was born.

Moving is always stressful, even when you're just moving a mile and a half across town. Throw in an unexpected family emergency that forces a sudden reschedule of the moving date, and you have a recipe for a rough time, indeed. But moving with Space To Space couldn't have been a better experience, across the board: Craig was extremely friendly and helpful every time I spoke on the phone with him, and was completely understanding about (and flexible with) our need to delay our move by a week. The guy who came out to do the in-person assessment (I'm afraid I've forgotten his name) was prompt, friendly, completely transparent about costs, and didn't try to up-sell me on anything. Ike and Javon, our movers, arrived at 9 AM on the dot, and proved impressively efficient and capable in both the move-out and move-in phases. Great guys, too; it was almost like having a couple of friends move your stuff (only my friends would have complained bitterly about having to schlep some of my really heavy things, whereas these cats remained completely good-natured the entire time). Everything arrived intact, and the whole moving day wound up being both quicker and considerably less stressful than I'd anticipated. Really, I've never had a better move — and the price was completely reasonable, as well. If you're moving in or around the Piedmont Triad area, do yourself a favor and go with Space to Space!”
