“ Let me start by saying. I got what I paid for. I have had professional movers previously and the service was above and beyond what I could have imagined. I tried to save a buck and it’s costing me on post move. The good: They were punctual and fast. Really good group of dudes. The bad: they unraveled towards the end of putting my old house on the truck and unloading it at my new home. Having Moved before, I assumed they were going to perhaps tag the things that were moving with me (which considering I moved everything but the furniture at this point, I thought would have been clear). Well they left odd things. Examples: left the glass top of a table that was moved, one out of a pair of patio chairs and neither ottoman. Then when we got to new home, the unloading was rough. My patio set was literally thrown in a pile in my backyard. So was the furniture upstairs where I wasn’t checking in on. I can understand if perhaps space was limited but maybe someone asks if there is another place to set things as opposed to tossing things on to a pile. They also left A box of tools and plastic wrap in my own home. The ugly: a bench was broken in the process I learned later on. A part of my bed rail didn’t make it. I called to inquire and basically got an oh well. Like I said. You get what you pay for. I’m overall pleased with the process, but I am disappointed in the lack of attention to detail and the fact that no one was interested in resolving my issue concerning a missing piece. So now I just have to buy a new bench and rails. Good luck!”

I uploaded all of the details, booked the move and waited for my date (I scheduled about a month in advance). Approximately two weeks after booking with Quips, they sent a mass email, i'm assuming to all of those scheduled, with the subject "your move has been canceled". In that email they indicated that due to corporate restructuring they were canceling all moves. I attempted to reach out via email and phone to gain a better understanding of what was happening and received no response. I found this whole situation unprofessional, lacking customer service, and I will never attempt to use Quips again. I cannot recommend their service to anyone as I would be hard pressed to trust their reliability or customer service. Do better.”
