“ I had a very poor experience with the Premier Chicago Movers, LLC moving company. Here are some of the issues that I had with the company: The original person that I talked to regarding the business stated that they do not subcontract out any part of the service. This was clearly a falsehood as the people who picked up the furniture, shipped the furniture and delivered the furniture were all different companies. The original dates promised for the pickup were either Saturday 6/20 or Sunday 6/21 and on Friday, they confirmed they would be there Sunday 6/21 between 9 and noon. We made arrangements to leave our apartment shortly after noon on 6/21. On Saturday at 7pm they called and said that they won't be able to be there until Monday. When I asked why they said "Father's Day" and that they couldn't do anything for me. They said “You are not a Father; you don’t understand.” Excuse me? When I objected to the delay, they finally said they would give me $75 off which did not happen. They told me that it would be probably 10 days for delivery. After 10 days, I began trying to call the dispatcher to get an update. When I would call the dispatcher from my cell, they wouldn't answer but when I would call a few seconds later from an unidentified number they would answer immediately. This happened MANY times. Clearly, they were avoiding talking to me. The final date of arrival to NYC was July 10 and it was supposed to arrive at 4pm. They did not show until 7pm. The truck driver actually called a hotline and got a random person to come help unload. They unloaded soggy, bashed and broken boxes that had contents spilling out. Pictures, mugs, bins, and mirrors were broken. In addition, a dresser was broken and another dresser was missing. The delivering driver had me come on the truck to look for my own furniture. They left in a hurry and said they had nothing to do with the original company. I called Steve, my original company representative who basically said he didn’t have anything to do with my shipping anymore and to call dispatch. I called the main company line who also said I had to call dispatch. I called dispatch and got ignored. I finally got a picture with no explanation of a dresser -- presumably they think they have found mine though I couldn’t tell from the picture. Called the main line again and made the manager there connect me directly to dispatch. Finally, they said they thought it was my dresser and they would let me know when the next shipment to NYC is so they can bring it -- probably several weeks at least. They also stated that we must be present when they say they are coming or we would get fined! As of today, September 27th, I have not received my dresser. I have called roughly two dozen times with no call back and no information. I was never apologized to, only talked down to and treated like a nuisance. I did not get the service I paid for and they were extremely difficult to contact with problems after the delivery was done. Overall, our experience was terrible. I strongly recommend that no one else use this moving service.”

They arrived almost two weeks after the date they originally promised. They broke almost $2,000 worth of my items, including a $1,500 headboard/ bed frame, a chair, and my 20 gal. glass terrarium. Also was missing a TV stand. When I tried to contact them regarding this claim, I was assured that someone would be emailing me, with no one ever reaching out. I've since left numerous voicemails, now every time I try to call it either goes to voicemail or it just stops ringing, almost like they blocked my number or something. They have no email listed so I am at a loss getting a hold of them. Completely unprofessional and frustrating. Moving, especially across the country, is stressful enough. Do not hire this company unless you are prepared to deal with your things being damaged beyond repair and/or not showing up at all, from a company who clearly does not care about its customers.”
