“ Same as another reviewer. I ordered furniture from a store. This company J.T owns and Ana works for showed up an hour late to deliver my furniture. It wasn't the right set, not their fault there. They took it back to the company they work with and I proceeded to handle the furniture issue with that company. Now J.T. works with this furniture company, as I stated before I purchased through the company and signed no contract through this Noah company. I spoke to the assistant manager of store and was suppose to not be charged the remaining balance ang get a refund. After thus conversation below I found out from this assistant manager that she spoke with him and it should've been refunded and no further charge. Fast forward to yesterday, I get a text from Ana stating I'm getting charged again a service fee. See messages below... Ana:Hey Kristina, I see that the balance due for your delivery is $35. Our system is set to apply that amount to the card on file at 2pm today. If there's a different card you'd like to use, please contact me asap. Me:Yeah, no you wont charge my card. I never got the couches they actually canceled it Ana:Our workers picked up items, brought them to you, and then ended up having to bring them back to the store.Should we not get paid? Me:Correct, I spoke to corporate and the store and was not going to get charged,So no you should not get paid any further.Is this anna? Who's your boss? J.T.:You were speaking with Anna, you are now speaking to the owner (J.T.) Anna asked me to step in. Me:Well j.t. I had the wrong couch delivered. Called corporate and spoke to assistant manager at the store had my order canceled and was told I would not be charged. So no you don't have permission to charge my card. As a certified banker I know my rights and will take legal action. Furthermore, why are we texting you are more than welcome to speak to me on the phone. What's a good number to call you at. J.T.:This is our work number, this is the best number. And we use "black and white communication" (text, email, chat) as much as possible as they are able to You agreed to pay $70 for delivery. The crew picked up the items that were on the sales slip, brought them to you. We see the notes here that it was not the items you wanted and they were brought back to the store.If we picked up an item for you at Walmart l, got it to you and you changed your mind, have us bring it back to the store, that shouldn't mean we don't get paid? Right?As a third part company, it would be difficult to stay in business if every customer that chooses not to keep said delivery doesn't pay us.We understand all to well how frustrating this may be. You are our customer, you agreed to pay us. If you don't pay us do you expect American Freight to pay us?We are very sorry for trying to collect a debt. Please let us know if you need any help moving local or long distance. Very unprofessional, seems very sketchy and would rate negative if I could. Being a banker I do not feel comfortable with him having my card info and No one else should. Please be aware of this man and how he "handles" business with his company and stay far away.”
