“ Mike's Moving handled a move from Santa Fe to Los Angeles. The good part is that they did this on very short notice and got it done. Move was pretty efficient and things arrived in one piece. So the moving experience was generally good. One piece was damaged, but not sure it was their fault as it was a dresser that had a one piece top but was really two pieces underneath so when they lifted, the top got damaged. But again, not really their fault. My main issue was price and payment - perhaps there is a premium for a move on short notice, but the price was too high. I did not have a lot of choices so I was happy that they could do it, but it seems a little mercenary to charge over $10k for a relatively small load that took 1.5 hours to unload in LA (even with two diff locations to unload).”
