“ Elvis, Yuri and Maks were our movers. In Redondo Beach, the truck says Pink Elephant, which threw me for a second. The Pros: They are a great team, easy to work with, very pleasant and polite. They were careful with our floors, walls, and VERY heavy glass furniture.... No nicks or damage on walls, floors, carpets or that sort of thing, which was one of our main concerns. In general, the furniture, too, was well preserved (see cons below): the guys are wrapping ninjas with the plastic furniture wrap. They were fastidious about keeping time, and they worked hard while they were on the clock. No fears of being over billed by these guys!! The Cons: (1) we had an hour window for their arrival in the AM, and they arrived (or rather we found them around the corner) 20 minutes after that window. I would have been a lot less anxious if they had arrived earlier, or had called when they presumably had trouble finding us. The late start made for a long day. (2) We had told the manger that we wanted the team to pack our kitchen for us -- we would pack everything else (except wardrobe boxes). They did not bring enough materials -- either wardrobe boxes or other boxes to pack our kitchen. Fortunately, I had ended up packing most of our non- breakable kitchen stuff the day before and had a few boxes left! Otherwise, we might have been 10 boxes short. (To be fair, we have a large, well equipped kitchen. Plus China and crystal, and it all needed to be packed, carefully. Which they did! We also have massive closets, with an abnormal amount of hanging clothes. My husbands running shirts are hanging. ) (3) A couple things took damage, as often happens when moving. Northing real serious: one wine glass, some loose wires in a multi-part TV that was disassembled, and the base of a floor lamp that was loose --- but all of that is being handled gracefully. My advice: use these guys. Be very specific about what materials you need. (Have closets like mine? Take pictures and warn them in advance. ) Have a dream kitchen? Do the same. And if in doubt between 3 and 4 guys, get the extra guy to pitch in and help. They absolutely WILL take care of your stuff, they are not creepy, they are super polite, and you will not be over charged.”

“ My husband and I move every couple of years - we are seasoned movers to say the least. The team of two men who came to help us move today were the absolutely best movers we have ever encountered. This includes Two Guys and a Truck and other nationally known moving companies. In short: best moving company I have ever experienced. Hire them- i highly recommend!! Details: What made them so good? 1st off- they actually know how to pack a truck! We severely underestimated the amount of stuff we accumulated and got a truck a few feet too small as well as requested fewer hours than we really needed. They packed the truck better than a fresh jenga tower! 2nd: They worked with us to break down furniture and wrap delicate pieces with as much care as if it were their furniture. I didn't have to point out heirloom pieces and stress how important they are- they did a top quality job on everything. We have a extraordinarily large and heavy bed (king foam mattress) that only fit in our bedroom by using ratchet straps to Taco it. Absurd, and very very difficult to get up the stairs that are just a little smaller than the bed. It took the movers we hired when we moved in about 20min, a lot of complaining and a broken door to get it in. It took these guys 10min without a hitch. 3rd: they hustled! Like I said- we didn't request enough time but these guys worked their butts off to get everything in that truck. This is our 7th move in 8yrs and this is literally the first time that we weren't working around the movers out of anxiety for how slow they were going. In fact- we had a few boxes we were behind on packing and we were too slow for them! A first! 4th: they were respectful and friendly. If they saw me struggling to shrink wrap they not only stepped in to help, but showed me how. They were incredibly pleasant to work with during what I find to be a very unpleasant time (I absolutely loathe moving). I also cannot believe that with the snow on the ground and having to go between the front and back yards, they somehow didn't track a bit of mud or dirt in the house. Magic! You would think everything I listed above would be a give in for professional movers, but it's not. My husband and I failed miserably at planning for this move, yet because of this incredible duo of movers it was still one of the smoothest moving days we have ever had. I cannot recommend them enough. To the moving company: the two guys you sent out to Grove Street in Denver on Saturday morning (12/7) deserve a raise, accolades and an all expenses paid vacation! Seriously- they were absolutely amazing. I didn't know movers could be this great.”

“ When I first started looking at full-service movers, I second-guessed my choice because of the horrible experiences described in online reviews. Some of the other companies in Denver had bad reviews AND snarky responses to customer complaints on Yelp. One of those companies sent me a quote for over $14,000. No thanks! At the time of my booking (June 2020), Local n Long Distance Movers (LNL) had no negative reviews on Yelp (and lots of rave reviews!) so I went ahead and reached out for more info. Before the move: After I requested a quote online, I was contacted by Jon who had me fill out an inventory list of my larger items and approximate number of boxes. Jon answered my emails/questions quickly and professionally (and there were a lot of questions!). The quote he sent over was significantly less than the quotes I received from other companies (like Two Guys and a Truck) and was all-inclusive (packing materials, packing, mileage, unloading, etc.). Jon said that the only reason my quote would be different from the actual cost was if we ended up having significantly more stuff than I had listed on the inventory form. The timeline was super fast and there were no multi-day "delivery windows." We were told that our stuff would arrive in NC three days after it was loaded onto the truck. Loading Day - Friday (Denver, CO): The lead mover (Russell) texted when the team was about 30 minutes away and three guys showed up with boxes, shrink wrap, moving blankets, dollies, tape, packing paper, ratchet straps, etc. They packed and loaded our three bedroom apartment in about four hours, part of which took place in the rain. All of the movers were careful with our items and made changes if we asked. (e.g. - my husband wanted his computer monitor to be packed close to the bottom of a stack instead of at the top). Before leaving, Russell reviewed the forms with us, confirmed our new address, and said he'd call us on Sunday night to discuss Monday's delivery/unloading. Unloading - Monday (NC): Russell let me know an approximate time on Sunday night and texted when he was about 30 minutes away from our new house. He and another guy came and unloaded quickly (~ two hours). They asked where we wanted everything and set up our furniture for us (like our bed, futon, and TV stand). Since the movers did everything, I was able to start unpacking some essentials (like dishes) before they left. Now that we've finished unpacking and setting everything up, I'm happy to report that there were no casualties or damaged items. Thanks LNL!! tl;dr: I used LNL's full service moving in June 2020 for a move from Denver, CO to North Carolina and would 100% recommend them to anyone. The price was reasonable and included literally everything, including a super speedy delivery (they finished loading the truck Friday afternoon and our stuff was unloaded in NC on Monday morning). All of our belongings were handled with care and nothing was damaged during the cross-country move. All staff were kind, helpful, and professional. Five stars.”
