“ The worst movers and moving experience in the world, damaged appliances that were brand new,left half of our stuff in the snow covered driveway covered with a tarp,broke into our house without permission because they didn't want to wait for us a couple hours behind them. Paid in advance 3600.00 to do this move which was a contract,then notified us later the day of the move that there was also a 1300.00 additional balance outside of the contract.(no explanation as to where this additional balance came from) also said they wanted to make a vacation out of this move included in the 3600.00 we paid for the move on our dime!!!(I guess we pay for their vacation s as part of the contract) Day of the move they realized they didn't realize we had so much stuff,after the fact of the paid contract,and wanted us to leave certain items behind because their truck wasn't big enough even though we paid for this all to be moved. Another part of the contract called for hauling one of our trailers behind the moving truck,but at the last minute backed out of that part of the contract. We had to get a hotel room the night the move was to take place because they decided to make the trip the next day and all of our stuff was on their truck.we lost two of our exotic pet bearded dragons (both died) due to the stress before we even were able to leave kalamazoo to sault ste marie. We lost thousands of dollars in damages alone,aside from our pets,only to get an additional balance outside of the contract.( Not in the contract,not happening either) Now I had to do a police report for the breaking and entering of our home,damage to our property (patio door,bent screen frames where they attempted to gain entry into various parts of our home) just to do an insurance claim for the damages and missing property. Also now have to file a court action to recoup the damages done by this unprofessional company. Because I am a disabled Vietnam veteran,I depended on the broken promise of this moving company to do the job they were paid for,but instead incurred damaged property,missing property,broken contract and unprofessional business practice on the part of this company. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone,and would check the BBB for other complaints,including my own. If I could give negative stars on this review there wouldn't be enough room on the page. Please beware of this business. And then the best response from them was to try to switch the subject matter saying I treat my wife horrible, (what does my wife have to do with them doing bad business? )and that his life was threatened, which is a lie,but I guess if that's the best defense they can come up with, maybe they should be in the marriage counseling business,and not the moving business. Bad business is bad business no matter how you cut it. See you in Court !!”
