“ Scheduled s move for Saturday the 23rd between 8&10am. At 830am. The day of,I get a call saying they were going to have to push my time to later. Then, they say they cant do it at all on Saturday. They reschedule for Sundaythe 24th at 8am. Now I'm already inconvenienced at almost 9 I get.a call asking where my building was. I walk outside to find out they literally sent 1 guy to move all my stuff and going to charge me by the hour. Now no one will answer the phone and he wanted me to sign an agreement. I td him he could have his manager call me, he said he couldn't get in touch with them either. Now I'm out 2 overtime days at work. A drive from Mississippi back to Alabama since it was rescheduled to still not have my things moved and trying to locate someone to help me!”

“ It's hard to think of a worse experience. My move scheduled for Monday morning was cancelled on the prior Friday afternoon and only after I called to confirm, no proactive contact from Handy Guys. Rescheduled the move for Tuesday and the mover completed only half the move, dropped off the truck at the office and walked out. The company had no other options to complete the move. I had to scramble after noon to find another mover to finish the job on the very last day of the month as leases expired. To Christie's credit, she did attempt to find another mover to help, but was unsuccessful.”

“ Very unprofessional. Did not communicate at all when they were running late, and it was very hard to get a hold of them on the phone. After finally getting someone on the phone, we were given excuse after excuse, and their ETA kept getting pushed back until we were told that they would not be able to come until the next day. They are very easy to get a hold of when you book the move and put down the $100 deposit, but very hard to get a hold of afterwards. STAY AWAY!”

“ I scheduled Handy Guys for a move on November 5th at 12 PM. I paid my $100 deposit, and confirmed the week of that they were still scheduled to move us on 11/5/2020 at 12 PM, which it was in fact confirmed. I received a call at 10:15 AM on November 5th stating they had no one available for my move. She then asked me if I would like to reschedule..... All I could think was, "Really? If you guys no-showed on me why would I reschedule to another date?" She also did not offer me a discount, but what she did do was provide the name of another moving company and told me to call them to see if they were available. What would have been so nice was if she had actually been genuinely apologetic about the fact that they just left a 7.5 month pregnant lady with no means to move her house and she could have also called other moving companies for me since her company left me high and dry to see if they were available. Instead she just passed this task on to me and offered for me to reschedule which again is absurd to me. What is even more absurd is that she thought I could just reschedule, I guess she didn't understand that the new renters of the home were taking possession THE NEXT DAY at 8 AM, so my move HAD to be completed on November 5th. I did speak with the general manager via email, he did seem very apologetic but again they have done nothing to compensate for their horrible customer service. I'm sure this isn't hard to believe, but I will never recommend them; Google has made me pick a star rating to be able to post, but they deserve NO stars.”

They proceeded to drag it on my brand new floors and scraped the floor. Mistakes happen. It is the complete lack of responsiveness of owner and manager to my claim. They say they dont have money to pay claims. Every time i message they say they are working on it. Completely unprofessional. EDITED REVIEW 5/4/21: after I posted above review, owner assured me the check would be issued that week. I texted again and no response. Still no payment of my claim. He said his family relied on this business. I guess the fact that my family relied on having a refrigerator does not matter. DO.NOT.USE.THIS.COMPANY.”

They were fast, but still took the time to actually wrap the items and secure them before loading them onto the truck. It was quite a drive between locations and they kept step with us the whole way.
