These guys booked me with AUTO LINE EXPRESS, They are THE WORST company to deal with. They came 2 days late after they already called me and gave me a pickup date and I took off work for both days waiting for a call. It was the weekend so they were closed. I had to email them and finally got a email saying the driver was in another state and would be there 6-8 hours later. He wasn't he didn't show up till 10 hrs later. He didn't even call 3 hrs before to give me a heads up like they said he would Don't book with them. They don't use reliable companies.”

As you might imagine, anyone who is going to put their vehicle in someone else’s care should do some research on the companies that they are considering. These companies that transport vehicles all have some bad reviews. I went with this one as I had a friend who had used them several times with relative success. What these companies really do , is put your vehicle (job) out on a message board that gives drivers the opportunity to put together their own route with multiple pick-ups and drop-off along the way. This makes it economically more feasible to transport your vehicle, as you are effectively sharing the costs with others. A bad driver can torpedo a good run for one of these companies. The important thing for the company to do is to be relatively honest with the clients and not promise what can’t be delivered. The important thing for the customer to do is to not expect amazing service for an extremely low price. Look at the prices you’re being quoted and don’t go the lowest, because it’s probably not real. I had a good experience with this one and would recommend them based on my limited experience.”

My experience with Direct Express Auto Transport: no complaints. Fast turnaround time, streamlined process. Great price as well. However, the towing company they contracted out was a headache to deal with. They kept saying they were going to pick up the car, then didn't. Then they kept saying they were going to drop it off by some date, then didn't because they confused my shipment with another. I left explicit instructions on handling the car because of the delay, which never got communicated to the driver. When it finally arrived, the battery was dead; I'm sure because the driver left some light on. To his credit, he spent about 20 minutes trying to jump it with me before he gave up. Communication with this company was unprofessional & Informal, & full of mostly verbal promises. Nothing malevolent or rude, but perhaps more clueless. Direct Express Auto Transport should consider cutting out Precision Auto as a subcontractor.”

I selected D.E.A.T. from a long list of potentials that'll bring my car to me back East here from the west coast in Oregon. Everything is handled exceptionally well and stress free, just as I had hoped for. The car was picked up a day early and the car was even delivered two days earlier than expected, of course they could have held the car longer. The biggest companies like this one are usually the best and already have established business contacts which sets them way ahead of other small start-up similar businesses, who are usually just looking for secret ways to rip you off by nickel and dimeing you to death. I only had to pay what I was quoted, period. Try to leave a tip for your truck driver as I forgot to do just that and I feel terrible about it. He was so nice and helpful and would gladly listen to everything I had to say quickly addressing any concerns. They deserve a little something extra, just pretend you were buying them lunch on the way to deliver your vehicle to you personally, that's kind of like a friend in need is a friend in deed. I'm very proud and happy to give 5-star review to those who are deserving of it. Otherwise I just usually will not review or survey because I dislike being a negative person. You are guaranteed to get the best quickest deal out there, period.”

Transport was great. Just don’t rely on the 10 day window. Make sure you read the fine print. You can pay up front the deposit but they tell you in the email that you have to have cash or money order at the delivery location so make sure where you are delivering it has the money when delivered. Customer service was great too, but give yourself time because it’s not guaranteed and they tell you to pay more, which is still not a guarantee. They like to say 80% and tell you nothing is guaranteed as repetition to cover themselves. I gave it a 4 because I tried to push the envelope and then their miscommunication and excuses (read above) aggravated me but I should not have procrastinated and rely solely on a business for guarantees. No guarantees in life but death and taxes haha. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone that was looking for a shipping company.”

The transport company made contact with the seller of the car that I was purchasing the same day. The seller commented how professional the transport contractor seemed on the phone. They pick the car up the next day and again they were very professional and they did do diligence of the condition of the car by taking several photos before they even started to move the car. The car showed up a day and a half early. The contractor was very friendly and very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed my experience. This is the second time I have had a car transported in an enclosed trailer and the next time I purchase a car for myself, if it happens to be out of state, I’ll definitely use direct express auto transport. I forgot to mention that I received three other quotes from transport companies and they were from $600-$1200 more for an enclosed transport.”
