“ Bobby the owner came out and gave me an estimate. He was on time and was all business, no BS! I had three other professional estimates given to me. B Line Movers was the only company who quoted me two moving trucks instead of only one. And the estimate came in moderately priced in comparison to others. They were very responsive to my questions by email and phone calls prior to moving date. They even made a special trip a couple of days before our move per my request just to look over my packing job and give me some tips on how to make things smoother. On moving day everything was exactly as it had been described to me. The moving gentleman were extremely professional, polite, and efficient. I think we used every bit of those two moving trucks, something that would have cost me many extra hours with the other companies for extra trips with only one truck. That's honesty! “ Nice people but they damaged 3 pieces of my furniture due to loading it on a dolly and carrying it up 1 flight of stairs using 1 person. I believe it caused a lot of stress on the furniture; i.e. headboard, dresser and small buffet. Bobby offered me a credit of $75 for the headboard and buffet, however, the furniture is no longer "new" looking and now shows signs of repair. I guess you get what you pay for. I found the crack in the dresser after they had already left. Also, they showed up with a U-Haul truck, not their own. I just feel this is not a professional moving company. I could have rented a U-Haul and paid a couple of friends to move me. I hate to be negative, but I did not have a very good feeling after they moved me. There just seemed to be a lot of mishaps, i.e. they lost one of the feet of my recliner and had to go outside in search of it! Again, because just 1 person moved it on a dolly and it got jilted around. Personally, I would pay a bit more and use someone who I feel is a bit more qualified. Also, B Line Movers didn't even do a "pre-moving" checklist with me to make sure of the condition of the furniture prior to the move. Even though they are not a horrible company, not BBB approved, they are not a great one either. I take blame for some of the above, as I should have made sure they were BBB accredited and also I should have been more verbal in how things were being moved; but moving is a stressful time and I just didn't think of it.”
