These guys!! If you’re moving and can’t decide who to call for help, look no further!! I was looking specifically for a locally-owned kind of place to help a company that may have been in a slump because of Covid. I found MW Moving on Yelp, and I’m so glad I did! The communication was excellent! When I first requested an estimate, I got a response within just a few minutes from the owner of the company. He wanted to come by and look at our space and what we had. He gave us a quote, and an estimated time that he thought it would take. He was friendly, and assured us it would go smoothly. He was able to fit our crunched timeline, because we were given very little notice that we had to move when the owners of our rented house decided to sell it. He called me the night before, just to confirm what time they would arrive. He asked me if we were ready, and I said no. But instead of any hesitance, he assured me that nobody ever really is. That made me feel better, like I wasn’t a failure. They were exactly on time, and frankly worked their butts off for 10 hours! Everything arrived safe and sound, with nothing broken. They wrapped all the wood furniture with plastic so as to prevent any nicks or scratches, they put the boxes in the rooms where they were meant to be, and they were just incredibly helpful to us in a very, very stressful time of our lives. We hadn’t planned on moving from that house, and yet here we were having to do so. At our age we don’t have a circle of friends that are beefy 20-something men able to pitch in and help us move for a case of beer. But MW Movers was there for us, and we will definitely refer them again and again!! We had three guys (the owner and two helpers), and they were time-efficient and careful with our stuff.

Wow I was so impressed with this company!! The customer Service and the guys that moved us was off the charts. You just don’t get that anymore. Middle West Movers picked up the slack when All My Sons Moving & Storage canceled on us 5 minutes before their scheduled time. They were able to come the next day, first thing in the morning! We were moving our belongings from a converted second and third story apartment and a storage unit into a three story house with no central AC on July 1st. The three movers were troopers, hardworking, and very professional. It took six hours in all and we were expecting to pay well over $1, 000 but we barely made it over $700 for three workers to load the truck and then two stuck around to unload. Great experience! The unloading went smoothly, although the local crew had some difficulties. The driver was with the move from the loading, in-transit, and unloading. For my move I had to get 3 quotes from 3 different companies for my employer. At first I was skeptical to choose Allied because of the bad reviews. However, I decided to go with them because they were the option that promised to get my stuff there the soonest. I do not regret my choice at all. Rod was the “salesman” that came and gave me the quote, very nice guy. I then worked with Dawn in the office and we exchanged a few emails and she called a couple of days before the move. The movers showed up on time and were very nice and talkative and made sure that everything was all packed securely. They did no damage to our apartment and they worked very fast. Brian was the “head mover/driver”. My only complaint would be that when Brian got to the destination he was the only one that moved all of our stuff in. He did a great job but it just took a little longer than I was hoping. Overall I recommend this company, they were all great!
