Recently moved from a 2bd apartment into a 3bd home. Victor and Antonio were amazing. They arrived promptly at their start time and finished 4 hours later. I did my part and had 95% of the items packed into boxes and organized. They were so efficient and wrapped everything carefully that wasn't in a box. Not one item was broken or damaged! They were polite, respectful and so friendly. At the end of the move, I asked them if they would help me lift my washer and dryer so that I could pace trays under. Imagine being moved by your musclely friends or brother but they actually doing it with a smile and want to be there? That's who Willamette Valley Moving staff who will take good care of your items, take their time so your items reach their destination in good order. They were great! We had Nathan, Caesar, Jose. They're so accommodating. They can move and pack if you need help or just move your furniture and boxes. When calling to make a reservation, you can ask them to come and estimate but local moves are billed by time in 15 mins increments per person? They were totally affordable, very professional, kind and would use them again without hesitation. We have a small side street but they were very careful making their turns. They wrapped all our furnitures and large ones were wrapped carefully. We had a complicated corner desk they were able to take apart and put together. They asked which furniture goes where at the new place. I do move again, I will use them in a heartbeat.”

If I could give them a million stars and likes I would, because NOTHING BROKE! I hired some folks from Willamette to load a rental truck for me, when I moved from Portland to Colorado. Which is 1200+ miles, so again, the fact that NOTHING BROKE is incredible. This shows the care, efficiency, and skill that these guys have in ensuring your possessions are treated right and arrive in the same shape as they left your house. So, I rented a moving truck from a national rental company since I didn't want to pay a fortune for all-service cross-country moving. As a single woman though, without the ability to recruit family and friends to help load my things, I had to rely on finding movers to load the van. Willamette was one of the few companies in the area that would load my things into a rental vehicle, opposed to requiring I fully use their services (their truck, full load/unload, etc.). They were also EXTREMELY reasonably priced in comparison to other companies in the metro. Plus, with their high number of high reviews, I really felt they were a bargain. Scheduling was super easy, too. My appointment was confirmed a day ahead and I was able to indicate a specific time block I wanted them at my home (e.g. 11am-1pm). The moving team arrived within 15 minutes of my scheduled window and they were ready to get started right when they came in. They even moved and reverse parked the ENORMOUS truck (which I was nervous to drive) to make things more efficient. The guys rolled out carpet protectors as they moved through my apartment, which was great since it was a bit of a rainy day and that meant I didn't have to vacuum and clean again after they left. They also compressed more of my miscellaneous items into larger boxes for easier and quicker load/unload. They ALSO asked me what items were of greater value so they could care for and better blanket/shrink-wrap those things so they wouldn't get damaged in the move. Overall, the loading process took about an hour and a half, but they do have flat 2-hour rate minimum, which was fine with me. As an FYI, I lived in a first floor, one-bedroom apartment that was a little sparse with things (so I didn't have that much to load), plus I'm a VERY effective and organized packer which all contributed to the speed of the loading. When finished packing, they tied down my things in the van to further secure them and left. Again, I moved 1200+ miles over three+ days of driving and every single thing arrived in perfect condition. No plates broken, no furniture scratched, no holes, cracks - NOTHING but perfectly packed items. It was easy to untie and unload everything and I really cannot rave enough about how well these guys did. If you're looking for a small, local move or a big house traveling across the country, hire Willamette. You'll be so happy you did and have peace of mind during what's usually a very stressful life event. P.S. Remember to offer them water, snacks, and tips in cash if possible! These folks work really hard, and showing a little hospitality goes a long way and can further illustrate your appreciation for their VERY hard work!!”

We used this company for our move 5 years ago, and were so satisfied with the experience that we immediately looked to them then it was time to move again. The guys showed up right on time, and quickly got to work loading everything into the truck. They also brought additional boxes for some loose items we hadn't been able to get packed beforehand. A quick walk-through at the new house to determine where the furniture was going and everything was unloaded just as quick. I hadn't noticed this while they were loading, but they had marked each box with the corresponding room it came from, so each box wound up in the proper room of the new house. No carrying boxes around the house that evening! Everything arrived in perfect condition. Nothing damaged or broken. Their service is quick, efficient, and absolutely worth every penny. The unfortunate thing was that Ceaser picked up a tub of paint thinner, as one of the last items, which I hadn't known about. It got all over his pants. For scheduling I would give 5 stars, they were able to work us in when everyone else was completely booked. They were definitely one of the higher quotes I received but I figured with the 5 star reviews it was worth it. The movers themselves get 1-2 stars. I've moved about 5 times in the last 4 years and have used different moving companies and they were by far the worst. The new build home walls I will definitely have to repaint in spots as there are now marks along the entry wall and in the stairwell. I know that is part of moving and there may be a few scrapes but this seemed excessive, especially since the same furniture was moved out by a different company in a house with smaller hallways without issue. Also one of the movers seemed to slam items down, the other mover even had to ask him multiple times to place the items down softer. In the end, we ended up with items we had to move ourselves and a moving service that I don't think was worth the price. Overall I would not use them again.”
