I just used Weiss to pack my stuff for a long haul move and store it. Their inventory was completely inaccurate and it seems that they forgot to pack and/ or move a number of items from our home in Shaker. Bottom line: because of the sloppiness of their inventory, I cannot hold long haul mover accountable for lost stuff. And, some of what they packed broke. I also had to chase them for the bill and inventory which tells me they have management problems. I have seen on other review sites after the fact that my problem with an accurate inventory is not unusual. Weiss like the long haul movers are also not helping resolve issues in good faith. Customer beware!”

I took off work and had a 10am appointment today with Wayne from Weiss to come to my house and give me an estimate for my upcoming move. I waited 30 minutes for him but he never showed up. I tried to call, nobody answered so I left a message that we had an appointment scheduled. It is now the end of the day and still no call from them. Looks like I am going to choose Northcoast Movers, which I had a good feeling about in the first place. I'm just mad that I wasted PTO time on a company that doesn't have the courtesy to call to reschedule if they can't honor a commitment!”

I just completed a move with Weiss Movers. I cannot say enough great things about my experience. The office was easy to deal with, and the moving crew was awesome. Jason the crew lead, runs an awesome ship and his crew was quick and efficient. Jason went above and beyond at all steps to take care of our goods. We had a lot of stuff and the move was 12 hours straight and the crew just kept going. They were amazing. I have recommended Ingrid, the owner, and her company for years and all my clients say the same thing. Experiencing this first hand was the best choice I could have made. I was so pleased with our service from Weiss Movers during our move from Painesville to Cleveland. It was made all the more difficult because we had to move during the the Covid-18 crisis. The movers wore masks and were very careful and professional. They dropped off boxes several times prior to our move when I miscalculated how many I needed. Highly recommend Wayne and his crew!”

We used Weiss Movers for a household move and storage. During the move which was local, they did not inventory anything nor did they use new boxes when packing resulting in way too much damage to our household goods. We've moved 13 times n the last 25 years and never experienced such a poor quality mover. On top of that while our items were in storage, Weiss shipped at some of our items in error to California and now they are lost. After the loss, I listened to Wayne promise me he would take care of everything, and hoped for the best. Sad to say he handed the ball off to insurance and I might get 5% of the total claim. Think twice before hiring this company. Talk is cheap and the proof is always in how they actually perform, and in this case they didn't . This should be a zero star rating.”

Poor job inventorying items for storage prior to national move. Their inventory was completely wrong and has made it impossible to resolve issues with long haul mover, Huffy's, who should not be in long haul business. I have sustained significant losses, including to irreplaceable family heirloom items that are now "lost". Weiss' poor quality inventory has made it impossible to hold any one accountable and Weiss has not shown any willingness to take responsibility. I also had to chase them for the initial bill which was shocking but which may reflect upon poor management practices more generally”

Additionally, a table and two couches were damaged and never repaired after multiple attempts to reach Weiss’ damage and repair dept.
