I contacted the company and spoke with Emily, about loading and packing a 20' shipping container heading to Hawaii, for late May. Emily did a great job of communicating with me the process and costs associated with doing so. The date was planned, the 2 folks showed up, we showed them all the items to be loaded, and they planned loading furniture, about 100 boxes of various sizes, tying down the load, and took great care in doing so also. There were a few small details that I feel could have been done better, such as prioritizing the big furniture items, which I stressed were my major concern as small items could be collected by myself later. Overall, if I needed to use a moving company again, they would still be an option in the future. For transparency, I have edited this review after speaking to the owner of the company based on prior feedback. The overall experience with WMLS was great and it surely made moving day hassle-free for us. Over the phone, Jason was very helpful and provided all the information which helped us making the right decisions. On moving day, the crew reached our place on time and were quick to begin work. They had brought the furniture pads with them and loaded the U-Haul truck safely. I want to thank them specially for moving our big couch through a very tight spot on our stairwell. I am not sure how they have so many good reviews. The only thing I can say positive about them was that they followed up on the scheduled appointment and three people showed up on time. All of them looked at what we had to move and complained. There was a lot of "I don't knows" when they looked at the furniture. I was told they could disassemble desks and beds but the lead said it would be better if I did that. Before they started, I told all of them I was most concerned about the larger furniture pieces that my wife and I could not move with our truck. That went in one ear and out the other because they immediately started grabbing nightstands and small boxes. In fact, when the truck was filled there wasn't a small moving box left in the house, but there were several medium and large moving boxes along with all of the largest furniture pieces. I had to pay an extra $200 to watch all three of them move a refrigerator that I moved in myself. On top of that it seemed like they just stood around watching each other most of the day. On the way to our new property they decided to stop for lunch and then got lost. That cost me another $125. When I asked them if we could make two trips to get the rest they all replied that they would be too tired after 5 hours of work. When I asked if they could call their boss and see if there was anyone else available, they said to call him myself. There was no answer. As we started going through boxes, it was funny because none of them seemed to end up where it was labeled. I found a box with my printer and keyboard marked "office" in the garage. My kids had boxes marked "kitchen" in their rooms. I received a call from their boss later that night and he said he didn't have anyone available for two days but he wanted to schedule to finish the job then. I told him no with my wife shouting in the background to hang up on him. We hired another company that probably would've met our expectations normally, but blew us away because of this experience.”

I'm writing this on behalf of my mother who recently moved across the country to Seattle. She attempted to write a review about this company, but it mysteriously never showed up. I have to agree with Derek W. below, I don't know how this company has such high reviews. Jason, in particular, was incredibly unhelpful towards my mom. Firstly, they don't even provide simple blankets or covers for furniture or other belongings in case of rain. They also don't put down runners to protect your carpet. My mom's HOA at her new condo would not allow her to park her pod outside of her place. Instead of offering solutions, Jason pretty much told my mom she was out of luck. They wouldn't go to the pod warehouse and bring her stuff to her condo. So of course my mom was forced to cancel with Jason because there was no way the scheduling would've worked out. Instead of having compassion, Jason charged my mom the $160 cancellation fee, knowing it wasn't her fault. When my mom called Jason, she was clearly upset. Jason simply hung up on her. Luckily I found Two Brothers in Bothell. They provided covers, runners, and went to the pod warehouse no questions asked. Jason was unhelpful and rude to my elderly mom the entire time. I think it was a blessing in disguise that she had to cancel. Stay away from this company.”

All the helpers they send out are always very pleasant and incredibly efficient. They helped me load up a 16-foot truck, and even though I was in an 8th-story apartment far away from the entrance, they were done in no time. The guys always were very careful and get the full picture (i.e., identifying fragile items, understanding what to move first, etc.). I feel like WMLS' rates are very competitive for the area... many other companies are much pricier. You get a lot for your money with this company, and I appreciate their help the past couple of years.”

Call this company to get a quote it took them 1-day to get back to me. The man that called me back was rude, and condisending and overtaking while I was trying to ask questions. He has a prepared script and trying to upsell a longer moving job than I needed. He said, " you don't trust me, you don't understand what i am telling you." I told him he has know business telling me who I do, and do not trust. Nor, does he have the right to insinuate that I don't understandand what he is saying.. The guy was completely inappropriate. I am taking my business elsewhere he hung up on me. I recommend that you do not use this company you will be treated poorly. If the company cannot hold a professional conversation or answer question for the customer imagine how they will manage your belongings.”
