I am very happy with their service. They made a stressful task so much easier. The foreman and his team were very helpful. They basically did all of it. Packing and wrapping was done flawlessly. Happy to see that nothing was broken or missing. Efficient crew! They took the pressure of moving off me completely. And by the way the rates are better than the other movers. So, if you are looking for a professional mover, I highly recommend US Standard Moving.

Never in my life have I felt so stupid, helpless and lied to as when I booked with US Standard Moving and Storage. When I booked with them, I was given a decent price that was lower than the rest but still believable, I was told if I signed that day I would be given a 200 dollar discount. The man I talked to Mark Kaye said they were a local company and promised no upcharges. I even did a video call with them to ensure they had everything down. Well, guess what?? They didn't! The initial price they gave me was without my boxes and by adding that it went up 1000 dollars!! I call customer service and they can't help me. I call them again, they say they fired the guy but who knows? I don't care that he's fired I care that he made me trust them! The movers get there I find out the company is a broker! Its during a pandemic and even when I provide them with masks they refuse to wear it!!! I'm self quarantining now! When I get there they refuse to deliver my couch up the stairs and box spring so now my 900 dollar couch is sitting on the side of my building like trash because that's how they treat you, like trash! They damaged my building, they broke my expensive furniture and CONTINUED to upcharge me. ONLY hire them if you're one of those weirdos who have a fetish for someone taking your money.

They are extremely thorough on the phone in making sure they know what kind of parking there will be, what belongings they will be moving and what kind of stairway and entrance they will be working with. The time estimates they gave me were 100% accurate, as was the price. Movers are super-fast, super efficient and reliable.

Do not use them. They ask for deposits to secure a price and then they demand more money. I am out nearly $5000. I have called and left messages. I reached a"supervisor"who refused to refund my deposits. They wanted $22000, for a move, after they said it was$5000! Cons

This has been a disaster in our life. We wanted a moving company to help us moving our furniture and all the other belongings in a three bedroom home from our home in Cody, WY to a new home at Leominster, MA. My wife found this company on internet and requested for a quote online. We were immediately contacted by phone by a Guy called Marc. After some conversation on the phone describing what we wanted to move, they sent us an estimate of $3,700 for the move and we happily agreed and paid a deposit for $1,081. Now the journey bro death started. A few days before the scheduled pickup (May 28), a second person called us to confirm the moving but he proposed a huge increase in the cost, from the original $3,700 to something like $6,000. I felt like being trapped into their business as I told him if this is the new price we would not be able to afford it and have to have some other company to do the back. I was told it's too bad that of you do that you will lose the deposit you paid. Feel like being threatened as well as not willing to lose $1,081 for nothing, we agreed to pay a total of $5,000 to keep the job to be done and as such we paid another $500 of deposit. Finally, after 3 days of delay, a truck (which is a Budget rental vehicle) showed up along with a helper. They loaded up the truck of our three bedroom belongings and drove away to a destination which remains as of today as a myth. At mid-June we thought it's about the time to contact the driver to ask about a delivery date. The driver never picked up our calls or responded out text messages. We then contacted Marc, the guy who took our deposit directed us to their customer service. We did as advised but we were told they try to contact the carrier. Eventually and after numerous calls to Marc as well as to the customer service, they told me they deliver on Thursday, July 2. This did not happen even though we kept calling to make sure they would delivery on that day. The subsequent week, we were told the new delivery date would be Thursday, July 7. This never happened again even after calls and calls to all possible numbers we could use. We started to get worried and nervous and felt like being in repair, living without furniture and other basic living support. Making phone calls became the last thing we wanted to do but still have to try, try and keep try. To our naive surprise, both the customer service and a new stranger (claiming as a third party, but using the cell phone number of the first driver) called and told us they will make a delivery on Friday, July 17. I am writing this review right now on July 18 and .... At the time we get completely lost and don't know what to do next except for writing this review to remind the innocent people to be carefully when choosing a moving company. We wish the mental and physical stress we endured will help others stay away THIS particularly company, to spell it correctly, US Standard Moving & Storage Corp. We may face some backlash or revenge (is this even possible) by the owners of the company after posting this review. But it would worth it to help others to stay away from getting into endless headache at the cost of our loss.

Us standard Moving were great. They arrived at my place with 6 guys. They really did hustle. Our house was cleared out in 3 hours. All the big stuff including an entire living room set, spare bedroom, kid’s bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, attic, basement and closets. The move went well. I am happy with their service.

Please do not hire this company. I, like many others writing these reviews, was given a quote of approximately $3300. About four days before my move I got a phone call to confirm and they nearly doubled my price to just under $6000. They showed up at my house with the truck too small to hold my stuff. I got on the phone quickly to try to resolve the issue. No one was helping me. While on the phone the movers took off. Luckily I did not get any of my stuff on the truck. After dealing with them and reading the reviews I’m truly convinced this is a bait and switch company, that asks for more and more money. They hold your goods hostage until you keep paying more money. These people should be arrested.

This was an absolutely horrible move. The rep who was a supposed "supervisor" quoted us a price and even went on Facetime to look over what we were shipping, we paid our deposit and the day of the move we were told he misquoted us by HALF and at that point what can we do? We are stuck paying to ship because the company will not respond to any of our calls or give us a refund of the deposit. Horrible customer service once they get your money.

Joshua Wiley, the sales rep, told me he'd be the "point of contact" throughout the move. He assured me the price on my contract was the "maximum I would pay". He guaranteed me a delivery date and said I'd get a call a week prior to confirm the time of the move. All of this was a lie. I finally got a call ONE DAY prior to my move, and found out then that they contract to a 3rd party company, Safeguard Van Lines, which has terrible reviews. They came and tried to rewrite the contract and charge me twice as much. I had no choice but to cancel on site. Furthermore, the actual moving company refused to guarantee me a delivery date. Joshua was NOT reachable at all. The movers didn't have masks on and were smoking outside my home. I had no choice but to cancel on site. I called customer service afterwards. Ashley and Mia were unhelpful and blamed it on me for not calling them during the move, even though Joshua was supposedly my "contact person" and he did not answer my calls or voicemails. They refused to give me my $500 deposit back. They offered me a "courtesy refund" of $150 - unbelievable. Don't ever use this company. Don't be fooled.

DON’T USE THEM !!!!! All reviews are fake and made in last few weeks ! Keep scrolling down until you find the bad reviews thouse are real. They quote you low number and then when they pick up your stuff they don’t give it back to you unless you pay more. Fighting to get my $565 deposit back.

Please save yourself and do not use this company! They arrived at my 81 year old fathers home, demanded an additional 500$ and threatened to hold his stuff in a warehouse in Chicago until he came to get it. This was a move of 20 items from Ohio to Florida. I wish 0 stars was an option.

WATCH OUT ! They cancelled my move the morning after hey were supposed to arrive, then tried not to refund my deposit after the mover they contracted with, David at +1 (818) 402-3139 Call Me Van Lines, texted me at 8:30pm the night before my scheduled move and said that he wouldn’t come unless I paid him more money for my upright piano. However I had already contracted for that piece and he wanted to be paid directly for it saying “what you paid isn’t enough, I’m not coming unless you pay me more”. This is absolutely illegal and extortion. He then canceled the next day. Customer support was combative and unapologetic, Ashley the customer support Supervisor hung up on me, and even got angry with me. Leanne in their sales department sold me on professional and competent service, and clearly they allow their contracted movers to take advantage of their clients. I’ve filed a complaint and will continue to make sure other people don’t get take advantage of. I was lucky I could find a mover at the last minute, but I’m sure other people face this type of illegal activity.

They took my deposit and never called me, the day of my scheduled pick-up arrives and they were a no-show, no answers from the "point of contact" person and when I finally got through to customer service they said "oh yeah it was cancelled". No attempt whatsoever to contact me and let me know and they're not returning my $700 deposit despite several emails. Just called my credit card company to start a dispute. This feels like a big SCAM!

I called these guys pretty last minute for my move. I had priced several companies and they were by far the best price. They also did a great job of packing the truck efficiently and they were very careful with my stuff. Nothing was scratched or broken. Recommended!

Absolutely do not do business with this company, all the negative reviews here are true. When they want to lock you down to get your business they are so nice, respectful and give you the “best prices”. Once they get your money, everything changes. Due to COVID19 we called to get a refund since I got my job offer in California cancelled causing us to be unable to move. So I called customer service and they are care less about our situation. They are rude specially Veronica, whoever she is, she shouldn’t have that kind of job, if that’s the way she treats clients. Asked to talk to higher up supervisor and she acted like she’s the owner. We are trying to keep our jobs, and companies are backing their clients up as much as they can. Of course this is not the case with this moving company. We called several companies that we work with and were all helpful and understanding. Apparently US standard moving company have been doing business wrong even before the crisis. You are still running because of your customers and you fail to see that. I don’t recommend this company to anyone. For the ones who are planning on hiring this moving company that is more like a broker. Go to the Better Business Bureau and see it for yourself. You won’t get away with this. You refuse to refund our money due to COVID as if it’s the customers fault, on top of that you tell your customers that you will give them the “best rate” and then you change it and you don’t care about it. At the end it is always the customers fault. You have absolutely no support for your customers and when the rest of the companies are doing their best to keep moving forward you are disrespecting and treating your customers as if your services are free. Shame on you. I hope people are able to see that companies like these shouldn’t exist.

The overall moving experience was very easy. The rep was informative, friendly and professional.
