Dave and William were on point. Quick story: We have a monstrosity of a powered leather couch with recliners that weighs about 500 courics. The company we bought it from delivered it as a finished product (no pieces). They almost died getting it up the townhouse stairs. It sucks to move. We've checked to see if it could be taken apart in any way for a prior move. We failed to find a way. They walked in and William said nah we've moved this type before, this comes apart here and here. Click, click, pivot, tilt, and boom. 3 pieces. They were efficient, knowledgeable about storage, well priced, and professional. Will call them first if ever doing another move around Charlotte. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I scheduled my move a month in advance, had to change the time a week later, same day but from morning to afternoon. Everything seemed fine, they were okay, they confirmed everything then again confirmed everything the day before. Come move day, they are running 1 hour late, then 2 hours then at 2.5 hours I called again to get a status and they kept saying another 30 mins. They basically didn’t show up. I had to call around and get last minute movers and cancel this company because they thought this late was okay. I know things are busy and some moves are larger then people expect but you can’t have a person waiting for a company for hours to come. Especially to charge $145 an hour for this unprofessional and lousy service. The worse part is that they were a referral! I can’t believe they dropped the ball like this. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt but when I told them we will find someone else they weren’t even phased, they just said okay. I hope this was an isolated incident for them but based on my experience I would not recommend, I will actually say to stay away and I’ve even updated my building management team to make sure they are not recommended on the future to other residents in the building.”

If you need a mover that will follow through no matter the circumstances this is the company you need to choose for your move. My family and I were relocating to the Charlotte area we chose a Saturday afternoon and of course it was a day full of heavy rain. Dave and his crew were running late but communicated very well. They arrived after dark and unloaded a complete truck complete with putting a bed together in 2 hours. Best part even though it was raining you couldn’t tell by the inside of my floors. This was my first time using professional movers and I will never go back to the DIY method again. We were unpacking a semi truck into our storage unit when we saw the Two Strong Dudes crew moving another client out of the same storage facility. Mike came over to say hello and asked if we needed help. We were just about finished with our move, but he was very courteous and gave us their business card. Their slogan is pretty catchy ("...family let you down and friends can't be found?") which hit home perfectly. When it was time to move out of storage and into our new home, I called and spoke with Dave. He fit us in on short notice and was also very courteous. They were on time and ready to go. A full day's work and a couple of truckloads later, our belongings were transported to the house. We had a LOT of cargo and there was not one item damaged in the move, nor was there any damage to the house. There were no paint scuffs, no drywall dents, no dinged doorways, no scratched floors,...nothing. Dave, Mike, Jimmy, and Will were all very hard working, professional, efficient, and a pleasure to be around. We are way past the young kids stage of life, but even then, there was no swearing. I would whole-heartedly recommend Two Strong Dudes Moving to anyone, but especially to a family without the fear of kids learning new sayings. Equally important to me at this time during the COVID-19 pandemic, they all wore masks and they wore them correctly! I hope I never move again, but if I do, I know I'm calling these guys!”
