From the very start they were very communicative. I had to move bedroom furniture, TV, tv stand glass coffee table and boxes from NJ to Virginia. A person came to see my things and spoke with Tony to give me a smaller truck and same day delivery and gave such a reasonable estimate. It was much better than other companies I had gotten quotes from plus their reviews were nice so I decided to go with them. They disassembled and reassembled my bed within that price. On moving day they came on time and were very efficient in wrapping my furniture and putting everything in the truck. The guy who disassembled my bed did it carefully and reassembled it on arrival as well very nicely. They were all very careful with my stuff. I had made colored notes on each box to indicate which room they would go and they followed that on arrival. All my stuff came in good condition. I was very happy using them especially when I was so nervous to use a moving company to go interstate. There were no hidden fees at the end. Avoid and save yourself. No matter how low the initial moving cost quote given to you. Because more charges will follow up. Believe me. Scott and Team (Scott's Team, Chevy 20 Ft) !!BTW Scott is a just a Nickname among themselves. It can change anytime! but same person!! showed up on moving day and the building manager asked for the Masonite board that confirmed by Tony's to protect the building then Scott said they don't have it. He turned around drove away right in front us with evil smirk on the face without any explanation. (Perhaps he realized it was impossible to haggle the surprise Masonite cash scheme and pocketing the extra cash in front of trained building management team-although the Masonite board was guaranteed by Tony's; so that action was pretty much a mid-finger at all of us that morning) Porters, front-desk, manager all who prepare the move witness the scene and couldn't believe that actually happened. I even chased the truck on foot just to get some answers. After many phone calls to Tony's, a backup team came 2 hours later. Anyway we couldn't move in to the new place because of the morning delay by Scott and his team and had to spend weekend at hotel. Please save your money, time and your emotional well-being by avoiding Tony's. *Found several broken/chipped items after another backup-team move attempt on Monday, Tony himself promised reimbursement and/or purchase a new one for us then total silent. ** Oh, if you still want to go ahead with this moving company after negotiating Moving Date with the COI (Yes! you will be charged 2 times by Tony's)+ Moving Cost + Round Trip Toll for Tony's Trucks + Tips + Expected Lunches for Crews----be prepare to go to the bank to withdraw lots of CASH. It is CASH Only. (No CC,No Check even if you ask for it) You will receive below email from the Tony's upon confirmation. We were surprised by the last minute term "cash only" so asked can I pay cash+check combination? but I got below firm email. Any Check & Cash was fine with other companies I dealt with in the past.”

I was moving many boxes and furniture pieces to a storage unit in NJ only about 10 minutes from my apartment, and Tony's Moving provided me with the lowest estimate when compared to other top-rated moving companies in the area. They were on time and extremely quick to wrap up valuables and odds and ends that didn't fit in other boxes, however they were a bit rough when moving my things (my reason for removing one star). They ripped of my vacuum-sealed space bags (I had to return to storage and replace the bag) and ripped a few holes in my mattress bag (I taped the holes upon returning to storage), as well as tossing and stacking some boxes clearly labeled FRAGILE a bit too roughly. I can't say if anything broke, as it's all safely in storage for now. Overall a positive experience but a bit off-put by the handling of fragile items.”

Jon and his team, Sabastin, Jose and Juan were very professional. They showed up early and got to work. Normally, I am the one picking up boxes and moving them with every movers I have hired...but they told me they had it handled. All items were packed and wrapped well and swiftly. Very professional. The only negative is they didn't gather the boxes not used and left them at the first location, instead of disposing of them. The rates were great, too. I provided them lunch and drinks as courtesy. First, Christine in the office was super attentive and followed up with me every step of the way. They arrived on time, every member of a 4 men team was very efficient, they worked very well together, each item was carefully wrapped and loaded, including a piano, and got me out of the old house and into the new under 3 hrs. Their truck was clean and perfect for the job at hand. The three men that did the move were experienced hard workers. It was a tricky move out of a 2 story old house. The men were very neat and clean and courteous. Everything was wrapped in plastic and moving blankets. Nothing was damaged even the challenging bedroom set they moved from a 2nd story.
