The two-day experience of our using this moving company, Texas Elite Moving, was a nightmare. We moved for two days: Leaving the old house at Anderson Mill on November 15 and moved into a new home on November 16 in Cedar Park. I contacted the people at Texas Elite Moving and was received by a woman named Shane . She went to my house to see where I needed to move, and then gave the moving plan and a quote. We accepted her plans and quotations. From 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on November 15, three workers came over with a cargon van, and initially planned move for 5 hours, which eventually turned to 7 hours. The workers initially planned to move everything to the cargo van and then to the place where space was arranged. To our biggest shock, after 7 hours, nearly half of the items in the garage were still not removed. The reason is that Shane's van wasn't nearly big enough for our items! I called her. The lady actually said that she did not estimate that there would be so many items in my house. She said could send another van, but we had to pay the additional cost! I don't understand why we had to suffer and were ordered to pay for the company's mistake and negligence? The floor was also damaged by the move, they were unapologetic. Fortuantely, thanks to our neighbors' help, we still managed to move everything to our new home on November 16. This is the Texas Elite Moving TXDMV #006809295C. I have no idea how such an unprofessional company with such terrible customer service could still exist in Austin!”

We used Texas Elite Moving for our move to our new house back in April. After contacting them for a quote, they set up an in home estimate. Shane was friendly and professional and we were thrilled with their rate. The day we moved there was a 100% chance of rain. The guys worked hard through constant downpour, and worked hard to keep our stuff dry. They did a great job, were honest about a nick they made in the trim of a doorway (hey, stuff happens), offering to pay for it. After 12 hours they were done. We noticed our refrigerator door alarm was going off even though the doors were closed. (The doors of the refrigerator had to be removed to fit out the door.) They called Chris and Shane and they were there 20 minutes later to see if they could figure out what was going on. Chris believed it was a sensor issue, but was unable to fix it himself. They had a repair person out first thing in the morning, completely paid for to repair the sensor and sent us a check for the food we had to throw out, no questions asked. Moving is a giant pain, Elite Moving made it a lot easier. They are affordable and professional, and willing to work in a torrential downpour! They made sure that we were taken care of and that any mistakes were made right. Shane, followed up with us a few weeks later by phone and with a handwritten letter. You don't often see personal touches like that anymore. We would definitely use them again.”
